Description

Claims (12)

  1. Strip safety breaker (100; 200), consisting of:
    - a lower part (1),
    - a housing (2; 32) connected to the lower part (1),
    - a drive (3; 33),
    - at least one switch cage (12; 37) for receiving fuse units, which is guided in the housing (2; 32), perpendicular to the base plane (E) of the strip safety breaker (100; 200),
    - at least one manually operable switch lever (11; 38) which engages with its cheek parts (14) into the housing (2; 32),
    - wherein the switch cage (12; 37) and switch lever (11; 38) are parts of the drive (3; 33),
    - and a respective recess (23) on the cheek outer contour (U1; U2) of the cheek parts (14), with which the switch lever hooks onto a spigot (24) when the strip safety breaker is in an opened position (OS), which spigot is disposed on the housing,
    characterised in that
    the cheek parts (14) of the switch lever (11; 38) each extend as a stop edge (27) starting from the recess (23) towards their free ends (45), which stop edge is supported against the spigot (24) attached to the housing, when the strip safety breaker (100; 200) is in a park position (PS).
  2. Strip safety breaker as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that a curved edge (44) lies on the cheek outer contour (U1; U2) between the stop edge (27) and the recess (23) and the spigot (24) slides on this curved edge when the switch lever (11; 38) is displaced.
  3. Strip safety breaker as claimed in claim 2, characterised in that the recess (23) merges via a lug (59) into the curved edge (44).

  5. Strip safety breaker as claimed in claim 1, characterised
    - in that the cheek parts (14) of the switch lever (11; 38) each have a bearing spigot (19),
    - and in that on the side walls (17; 61) of the switch cage (12; 37) a respective opening (18) is incorporated, in which the bearing spigot (19) is mounted.
  6. Strip safety breaker as claimed in claim 5, characterised in that the opening (18) is an elongate hole.
  7. Strip safety breaker as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the switch cage (12; 37) has at least one unlocking element (22; 41) which, together with the second stop elements (21; 39) located on the switch lever (11; 38), forms a releasable mechanical lock.
  8. Strip safety breaker as claimed in claim 1, characterised
    - in that the switch cage (12; 37) has at least one guide strip (8) which is disposed perpendicular to the base plane (E) when in the assembled state and which is provided with at least one stop element (26) which abuts against a protrusion (9), disposed on the housing, when the drive (3; 33) is being pushed out of the housing (2; 32),
    - and in that guide elements (7) are disposed on the housing (2; 32) perpendicular to the base plane (E) and guide strips (8) of the switch cage (12; 37) are inserted into these guide elements.
  9. Strip safety breaker as claimed in claim 8, characterised in that the guide strip (8) is secured against falling out of the guide element (7) of the housing (2; 32) by at least one lug (10) disposed on the housing.
  10. Strip safety breaker as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that a gripping tab (31) is displaceably disposed on the switch lever (11) and has an aperture (58) which allows access to a cover (4).
  11. Strip safety breaker as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the cheek parts (14) of the switch lever (11; 38) each have an elongate S-shaped opening (15) in which a guide spigot (13) of the switch cage (12; 37) is guided.
  12. Strip safety breaker as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the cheek parts (14) are connected to each other via at least one transversely positioned bracket (29; 36).
