Fig. 5a zeigt ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung mit zwei gesonderten Verstelleinrichtungen 18 und 19. Fig. 7a-7c zeigen ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung. Das Gehäuse 2 weist an seiner Stirnseite eine Verstelleinrichtung 19 auf, die im gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel eine in axialer Richtung des Gehäuses 2 verstellbare Rändelschraube 20 umfasst, die außerhalb des Gehäuses 2 zugänglich bzw. betätigbar ist. Die Rändelschraube 20 bildet also einen verschiebbaren Anschlag für die Kolbenstange 5, an der ein Kolben 4 ausgebildet ist. Der Zylinder 3 weist eine Verjüngung 25 auf, sodass bei Herausdrehen der Rändelschraube 20 auch der Kolben 4 nach rechts bewegt wird und auch ein zwischen Kolben 4 und Zylinderwand gebildeter Ringspalt größer wird. Beim Einschieben des Zylinders 3 relativ zum Kolben 4 entgegen der Kraft der Feder 23 erfolgt je nach Stellung des Kolbens 4 eine unterschiedliche Dämpfung. An der Stirnseite des Zylinders 3 ist ein Verstellrad 24 gelagert, welches in axialer Richtung des Zylinders 3 verstellbar ist. Der Zylinder 3 kann damit virtuell verlängert werden, sodass bei bereits montierter Dämpfvorrichtung 1 auch der Auftreffpunkt eines zu dämpfenden Möbelteiles exakt festlegbar ist.
