Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Maschine zur Herstellung und / oder Behandlung einer Faserstoffbahn mit zumindest einer Walze, die abschnittweise von einem Sieb umschlungen wird, wobei dem Sieb (6) im Bereich der Walze (4) eine Befeuchtungseinrichtung (9) zugeordnet ist, die ein Gehäuse (10) mit einer zur Mantelfläche der Walze weisenden Außenseite mit zumindest einer Öffnung zum Austritt eines fluiden Auftragsmediums umfasst, wobei die Faserstoffbahn auf dem Sieb so um die Walze geführt wird, dass deren eine Seite auf dem Sieb geführt wird und deren andere Seite frei liegt und mit dem fluiden Auftragsmedium (11) beaufschlagbar ist. Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich die zur Mantelfläche der Walze weisende Außenseite des Gehäuses in Bahnlaufrichtung (L) nur über einen Abschnitt (A) des Siebs erstreckt, auf dem die Faserstoffbahn nach oben läuft.
