  • Fig. 6 shows an alternative embodiment of an arrangement according to the invention, wherein a well curb 14, a manhole cover 16 and a surrounding support ring 18 have predominantly square or quadratic annular shape.
  • the support ring 18 may be provided with internal radial support studs or be adapted to be connected with the well curb 14 in another suitable way.
