Abstract

LED-Anordnung für Lichtsignalgeber (10) insbesondere für Bahnübergänge, umfassend
- einen ersten Strang von in Reihe geschalteten Hochleistungs-LEDs (32) und
- wenigstens einen weiteren Strang von in Reihe geschalteten Hochleistungs-LEDs (34),
- wobei die LEDs der wenigstens zwei Stränge auf einer gemeinsamen Platine angeordnet sind,
- wobei die Stränge separat voneinander mit Strom versorgt werden können, um so die LEDs in dem jeweiligen Strang zum Leuchten anzuregen,
- wobei die LEDs in den wenigstens zwei Strängen derart auf der Platine angeordnet sind, daß die LEDs des ersten Strangs im wesentlichen dieselbe Lichtverteilung erzeugen wie die LEDs des wenigstens eines weiteren Strangs,
- wobei Mittel zur Überwachung des im Betrieb zumindest eines Strangs fließenden Stroms und der an dem Strang abfallenden Spannung vorgesehen sind und
- wobei eine Steuereinheit zur automatischen Umschaltung auf einen anderen Strang bei Ausfall eines betriebenen Strangs oder einer LED eines des betriebenen Strangs vorgesehen ist.
