Abstract

Bei einer Heißtransferfolie besteht die Dekorbeschichtung aus einem wasserbasierenden Akrylat- oder Vinylacetat-Bindemittel und wasserbasierender Pigmentpaste, wobei die an der Trägerfolie (2) liegende Basislackschicht (3) gleichzeitig als Ablöseschicht dient und die mit der zu beschichtenden Substratoberfläche zu verbindende Übertragungsschicht (5) unter Wärmeeinfluss auch als Klebeschicht fungieren kann. Das Aufbringen der einzelnen Schichten auf die Trägerfolie erfolgt mit herkömmlichen Druckmaschinen jeweils aus einer mit Dispergier-, Entschäumungs- und Verlaufsmitteln versetzten wässrigen Bindemitteldispersion, in die wahlweise eine wasserbasierende Pigmentpaste eingemischt werden kann. Es werden nur ein einziges Lösemittel, nämlich Wasser, und multivalent zumischbare wasserbasierende Pigmentpasten oder -konzentrate verwendet, so dass die Herstellung der Heißtransferfolie mit geringem Arbeits-, Material- und Anlagenaufwand möglich ist.
