Definitions
- the invention relates to a support device for guitar and lute instruments such as guitar, Sas, bouzouki, mandolin and the like.
- a support device for guitar and lute instruments such as guitar, Sas, bouzouki, mandolin and the like.
- Known device comprises a base part, which has a support surface serving for placing on the thigh of a musician.
- the base part is designed approximately as an elongate plate, thus having a longitudinal direction.
- the device has - in relation to the situation of use - a rear facing the musician and a facing away from this front and two spaced apart in the longitudinal direction, projecting from the base part support struts.
- At the free end of the support struts each serving to support the instrument body, formed from at least one support element supports is arranged.
- One problem with using the subject support is that it tends to tip forward or away from the user's body.
- a musician using the support device attempts to compensate for this tendency, for example, by tilting his upper body more forward or holding the instrument tighter than is required per se, thereby worsening his posture, which can permanently damage the skeletal and muscular apparatus
- the at least one support strut supporting the instrument body is staggered with respect to a central longitudinal axis of the part of the support strut connected to the support, ie to the side of the support device facing the user.
- the lute instrument is thus kept in a stable position, so that the musician can concentrate fully on his lecture and take a healthy posture.
- the rearwardly offset support is arranged on a transverse leg extending transversely to the central longitudinal axis of the partial region of the support strut connected to the support and protruding toward the rear. In this way, it is possible, for example, to ensure a backward offset of the support in relation to the known device unchanged support strut.
- at least one support strut has a smaller width than the base part, whereby a material and weight saving is connected. It is now conceivable to arrange such a support strut in the middle of the base part, that is to say in such a way that its central longitudinal axis is contained in the median plane.
- the support strut is offset with respect to a center plane containing the central longitudinal axis of the base member and extending at right angles to the support surface to the rear side.
- the length of the transverse leg can be reduced accordingly.
- a support element is mounted pivotably on the support strut in a pivot plane extending approximately parallel to the median plane.
- the support elements can thus be pivoted depending on the inclination of the instrument and / or curvature of the instrument body to ensure a reliable fixation on the body.
- the pivotability is accomplished by the fact that on a support member carrying the support member a curved in the direction of the central longitudinal axis of the base member is provided, along which the support member is displaceable.
- the end region of the support strut supporting the support element is curved in the direction of the central longitudinal axis of the base part and the slotted link is formed by a slot, the support element having a side facing the support strut existing fixing part made of elastomeric material passes through the slot frictionally.
- at least one support strut is designed adjustable in length, preferably by the support strut is formed from two each having a slot having partial struts, wherein the slots are penetrated by a fixing.
- a support device of the type in question is usually located on the closer to the instrument neck Thigh of the player put on.
- a right-handed person on the left thigh with a left-hander on the right.
- flamenco players prefer a guitar position in which their body is placed closer to the player's head and the instrument is shifted more towards the plucking hand.
- the Zupfarm is held in a raised position.
- a further preferred and in itself inventive variant which ensures an application for both the classical and the flamenco posture, carries the in the situation of use farther away from the instrument neck support strut, eg seen from a left-hand player from the right support strut, on its side facing away from the other support strut, a support surface serving for placing the support device on the thigh of the user.
- a cantilever element can in principle be formed in any manner, for example, be designed as a plate-like part, which consists of a material having a large static friction to the instrument body. It is also conceivable adhesion by taking advantage of magnetic forces. Preferably, however, is on the Suction cup used, which has proven particularly useful for the purpose in question here.
- the exemplary embodiments of a support device consisting essentially of plastic, wood or a metal alloy shown in the figures all comprise a base part 1, a first and second support strut 2 and 3, and supports 4 fixed to the free ends of the support struts 2, 3 are each formed from at least one, for example, two support elements each in the form of a suction cup 5.
- the support strut 2 is longer than the support strut 3 and is in the situation of use ( Fig. 4 . 8th . 12 ) are arranged on the side closer to the instrument neck of the support device.
- the base part 1 is essentially an elongated plate with a rectangular outline. It is curved and has a concave flat side, which forms a serving for placing on the thigh of a musician support surface 7.
- a coating 8 is attached, for example in the form of a strip.
- the coating 8 is made of an elastomer material and absorbs the pressure exerted by a lute instrument on the base plate or the thigh of
- the support struts 2, 3 are fixed at a distance in the longitudinal direction or in the direction of the central longitudinal axis 9 of the base part 1 at its front ends 10a, 10b.
- the support struts 2, 3 are arranged divergently on the base part 1, ie their longitudinal direction or their central longitudinal axes 12, 13 close an angle ⁇ which opens on the convex side of the base part 1. Fig. 1 )one.
- the first support strut 2 is designed variable in length in all variants. It comprises a first part strut 14 integrally formed on the front end 10b of the base part 1 and a second part strut movably held thereon.
- the second part strut 15 is displaceably mounted on the first part strut 14 at least in the direction of the central longitudinal axis 12.
- longitudinal slots 16 are introduced for this purpose, which are penetrated by the shank of a screw 17, on whose thread a wing nut 18 is screwed.
- Between the two Partial struts 14,15 is a penetrated by the screw 17 spacer ring 19, for example made of elastomeric material available.
- the two partial struts 14, 15 are portions of the support strut 2.
- the support 4 connects; this is understood as the associated with the support 4 portion of the support strut 2.
- the end portions 20a, b of the support struts 2, 3 pointing away from the base part 1 are bent inward, ie in the direction of the respective other support strut, and are curved in the direction of the central longitudinal axis 9 of the base part 1.
- at least one oblong hole 22 forming a displacement gate for a suction cup 5 is introduced, which extends over the curved end region 20a, b.
- the slot 22 Approximately at the transition between the curved end portion 20 and an adjoining, in the direction of the central longitudinal axis 12 and 13 extending strut portion 23, the slot 22 has an enlarged portion 24.
- an approximately peg-shaped fixing portion 25 is formed, which passes through the slot 22.
- the fixing portion 25 is inserted in the widened region 24 and the journal is pressed into the oblong hole 22.
- the diameter of the fixing pin is greater than the width 26 of the elongated hole 22.
- a Saufnapfes 5 in a slot 22 By moving a Saufnapfes 5 in a slot 22, this can be approximately in the direction of arrow 27 ( Fig. 1 ) pivot.
- the spanned by the edge 29 of a suction cup 5 fixing plane 28 can therefore be in different angular positions (see 28a, 28b, 28c in Figure 5 ), wherein a once selected pivot position of a suction cup 5 is retained due to the frictional fixation.
- the fixation of a suction cup 5 in, a slot 22 can be improved in that the free end 31 of the fixing portion 25 is widened head-shaped.
- 1 to 4 extends the end portion 20a seen in the width direction of the base part obliquely to the central longitudinal axis 13 of the second support strut 3 (see Fig. 2 ).
- the median plane 32 is spanned by the central longitudinal axis 9 of the base part and the central longitudinal axes 12, 13 of the support struts 2, 3.
- the shank of the longitudinal slots 16 by cross-bolt 17 is designed, has approximately a circular cross section, that the partial struts 14,15 against each other in the direction of the double arrow 34 in a direction transverse to the median plane 32 pivoting plane ( Fig. 2
- the support 4 on the support strut 2 or this forming suction cups 5 can be adjusted so that the axis of curvature 30a is parallel to the axis of curvature 30 of the second support strut 3.
- the inclination of the fixing plane 28 of a suction cup 5 can thus also be changed in a direction transverse to the median plane 32.
- the first support strut 2 is configured the same in all embodiments.
- the supported by her support 4 is formed by two suction cups 5.
- the support 4 of the first support struts 2 is with respect to the center plane 32 to the rear 33 out offset.
- This is achieved in that the first support strut 2 and its second part strut 15 is designed L-shaped, with its longer leg 35 carries a longitudinal slot 16 and is adjustably connected to the first part strut 14, and their shorter transverse leg 36 is approximately at right angles to Longitudinal leg 35 extends.
- the support strut 2, whose width 41 ( Figure 3 ) is less than the width 44 ( Fig. 13 ) of the base part 1 is arranged offset to the rear side 33 on the base part 1.
- Their central longitudinal axis 12 therefore has a distance 37 (FIG. Fig. 3 ) to the median plane 32 of the support device.
- the rearward offset of the support 4 of the support strut 2 causes the support device is altogether more stable to tipping, ie substantially reduced their inclination in the use situation on the front longitudinal edge 37 of the base part 1 as a tilting axis to its front side 38 or away from the user. This is due to the fact that the displacement of the support 4 upon application of a force F acting approximately in the vertical direction produces a torque M directed towards the rear side 33 (see FIG Figure 3 ).
- the illustrated three embodiments differ essentially by the configuration of their second support strut 3.
- the second support strut has been described above.
- An application situation is in Fig. 4 shown. It is a guitar player who gem his instrument with a support device. Fig. 1 to 3 in a classic location. The guitar lies with its frame 39 on the supports 4, where it is held there by the suction cups 5. Due to the relatively short second support strut 3, the rear end of the body 40 is disposed relatively deep between the legs of the musician. The inclination of the guitar or her neck 45 can be adjusted by the variable length support strut 2. A guitar is often kept slightly tilted when playing, such that its upper portion 42 is located closer to the user's body than its lower portion 43.
- the frame 39 extends - viewed in the direction of its width - obliquely, approximately corresponding to the in Fig. 2 marked curvature axis 30.
- the second support strut 3 of the first embodiment is thus adapted from the outset to this guitar style.
- a corresponding oblique position of the bearing 4 located on the first support strut 2 can be achieved by a corresponding pivoting of the second part strut 15 relative to the first part strut 14.
- the second support strut 3a is designed adjustable in length. Accordingly, it has two longitudinal slots 16 provided with partial struts 14a and 15a.
- the longitudinal slots 16 are, as in the embodiment described above, penetrated by the shank of a screw 17, on whose thread a wing nut 18 is screwed.
- a spacer ring 19 is arranged between the partial struts 14a, 15a.
- the partial strut 15a is designed in accordance with the second partial strut 15 of the embodiment described above, ie has a longer leg 35a and a shorter transverse leg 36a, with the support formed from two suction cups 5 on the latter 4 is arranged.
- the axes of curvature 30a of both support struts 2, 3 can be pivoted on account of the pivotable fixing of the partial struts 14, 15 and 14a, 15a in a pivoting plane extending transversely to the median plane 32 and thereby an inclination approximately corresponding to the axis of curvature 30 in FIG Fig.2 to adjust.
- its base part 1 is longer than the base part 1a of FIG present embodiment. It has a length which is slightly more than half the length of the base part 1.
- the support device in question can be particularly useful for playing lutes, such as Renaissance or Baroque lutes, mandolins or for instruments such as Sas or Bouzouki apply.
- the base part 1a is supported on the left thigh (for left-handed players) (see Figure 8 ). Due to the larger support length of the second support strut 3a, the rear end of the body 40 can be further displaced in the direction of the right thigh, so that it rests on this. Overall, the body 40 of the instrument is offset more to the player's right side.
- FIG. 9 to 12 The embodiment shown has a base part 1b whose length is approximately that of the base part 1a (FIG. Fig. 5 ) corresponds.
- a second support surface 7a is provided on the second support strut 3b, specifically on its side facing away from the first support strut 2.
- a coating 8 made of elastomeric material is present.
- the base part 1b and the support strut 3b have approximately the same length.
- Such a support device can both for a normal guitar posture (corresponding Fig. 4 ) as well as for the flamenco game ( Fig. 12 ) be used.
- the support surface 7 is supported on the left thigh (for left-handed players) ( Figure 12 ).
- the support surface 7a is supported on the right thigh.
- the guitar is much more to the right side of the classical attitude Player's postponed.
- the rear portion of the body 40 is located above the right thigh and protrudes laterally beyond it. The guitar is thus placed closer to the head of the musician, so that the Zupfarm must be kept much higher than is the case with classical guitar playing.

Description
On this basis, it is the object of the invention to develop a supporting device of the type mentioned so that it is improved in the above regard.
This object is achieved according to claim 1.The at least one support strut supporting the instrument body is staggered with respect to a central longitudinal axis of the part of the support strut connected to the support, ie to the side of the support device facing the user. In such an embodiment, the weight of a resting on the support instrument at least on a support strut a directed towards the user, the described tilting tendency counteracting torque generated on the support device. The lute instrument is thus kept in a stable position, so that the musician can concentrate fully on his lecture and take a healthy posture.
In a preferred embodiment, the rearwardly offset support is arranged on a transverse leg extending transversely to the central longitudinal axis of the partial region of the support strut connected to the support and protruding toward the rear. In this way, it is possible, for example, to ensure a backward offset of the support in relation to the known device unchanged support strut. In a further preferred embodiment, at least one support strut has a smaller width than the base part, whereby a material and weight saving is connected. It is now conceivable to arrange such a support strut in the middle of the base part, that is to say in such a way that its central longitudinal axis is contained in the median plane. Preferably, however, the support strut is offset with respect to a center plane containing the central longitudinal axis of the base member and extending at right angles to the support surface to the rear side. For a given rearward offset of a support, the length of the transverse leg can be reduced accordingly.
In a further preferred embodiment variant, a support element is mounted pivotably on the support strut in a pivot plane extending approximately parallel to the median plane. The support elements can thus be pivoted depending on the inclination of the instrument and / or curvature of the instrument body to ensure a reliable fixation on the body. Preferably, the pivotability is accomplished by the fact that on a support member carrying the support member a curved in the direction of the central longitudinal axis of the base member is provided, along which the support member is displaceable. A once made with respect to a particular instrument pivot adjustment of the support elements is preserved for later use, characterized in that a bearing of the support element is provided on the support leg, which allows a locking of the support element in different pivoting positions. In a manner that can be realized in a simple manner and manner, this is achieved in that the end region of the support strut supporting the support element is curved in the direction of the central longitudinal axis of the base part and the slotted link is formed by a slot, the support element having a side facing the support strut existing fixing part made of elastomeric material passes through the slot frictionally. In order to ensure an adaptation of the support strut to different body sizes and types of instruments, at least one support strut is designed adjustable in length, preferably by the support strut is formed from two each having a slot having partial struts, wherein the slots are penetrated by a fixing.
A support device of the type in question is usually located on the closer to the instrument neck Thigh of the player put on. In the case of a right-handed person on the left thigh, with a left-hander on the right. Compared to the classical guitar style, flamenco players prefer a guitar position in which their body is placed closer to the player's head and the instrument is shifted more towards the plucking hand. The Zupfarm is held in a raised position. A further preferred and in itself inventive variant, which ensures an application for both the classical and the flamenco posture, carries the in the situation of use farther away from the instrument neck support strut, eg seen from a left-hand player from the right support strut, on its side facing away from the other support strut, a support surface serving for placing the support device on the thigh of the user.
Since the distance of the two support struts seen in the longitudinal direction of the base part is limited by the length of the base part, it is expedient if the arms is arranged diverging on the base part, because thereby a larger span can be achieved. Since a lute instrument is usually held with a more or less oblique orientation, it is expedient that the support strut located in the situation of use on the neck-facing side of the support device is longer than the other support strut. In all the above embodiments, a cantilever element can in principle be formed in any manner, for example, be designed as a plate-like part, which consists of a material having a large static friction to the instrument body. It is also conceivable adhesion by taking advantage of magnetic forces. Preferably, however, is on the Suction cup used, which has proven particularly useful for the purpose in question here.

The
