Claims

1. Support for a guitar, with a support that can be placed on one of the thighs of the seated guitar player, on which a support member is held that projects towards the guitar and whose free end engages the frame of the guitar, characterized in that the support member ( 2 ) is a variably positionable attachment ( 10 ) for the support ( 1 ).

2. Support according to claim 1, characterized in that the support member ( 2 ) and the support ( 1 ) have connecting means which can be brought into operative connection with one another.

3. Support according to claim 2, characterized in that the connecting means are designed as Velcro connectors.

4. Support according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the support member ( 2 ) has in the region of its free end ( 3 ) at least one suction cup ( 16 , 17 ) which can be pressed against the frame of the guitar.

5. Support according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support ( 1 ) has a fixing holder ( 5 ) which can be brought into contact with the frame of the guitar in an end region ( 4 ) facing the guitar.

6. Support according to claim 5, characterized in that the fixing holder ( 5 ) is a suction cup carrier ( 6 ) hingedly connected to the support ( 1 ).

7. Support according to claim 6, characterized in that the fixing holder is detachably arranged on the support.

8. Support according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the fixing holder ( 5 ) has suction cups ( 7 , 7 ') on its surface facing the guitar and at least one spacer ( 30 , 30 ') protruding from the surface.

9. Support according to claim 8, characterized in that each spacer ( 30 , 30 ') is a knob-shaped buffer made of elastic material.

10. Support according to one of claims 6 to 9, characterized in that the suction cups ( 7 , 7 ') are removably held on the fixing holder ( 5 ).

11. Support according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support ( 1 ) is designed as an approximately rectangular plate.

12. Support according to claim 11, characterized in that the plate serving as a support ( 1 ) is coated with the fleece layer ( 8 ) of a Velcro fastener.

13. Support according to one of claims 11 and 12, characterized in that the plate serving as a support ( 1 ) is equipped with a padding layer ( 9 ) on its underside which can be brought into contact with the thigh of the guitar player.

Support according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the attachment ( 10 ) serving as a support member ( 2 ) is an approximately rectangular plate part ( 15 ) which is equipped with a hook layer ( 11 ) of the Velcro connector in its foot region connectable to the support ( 1 ).

15. Support according to claim 14, characterized in that the transverse edge ( 12 ) of the rectangular plate part ( 15 ) provided as an attachment ( 10 ) located in the foot region runs obliquely inclined to the longitudinal edge ( 13 , 14 ) of the plate part ( 15 ).

16. Support according to claim 15, characterized in that the transverse edge ( 12 ) extends at an angle of approximately 60° to 85° obliquely to the longitudinal edge ( 13 , 14 ) of the plate part ( 15 ).

17. Support according to one of claims 15 and 16, characterized in that the transverse edge ( 12 ) located in the foot region of the attachment ( 10 ) is chamfered by approximately 60°.

18. Support according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that each suction cup ( 16 , 17 ) located at the free end of the attachment ( 10 ) serving as a support member ( 2 ) and in the form of a plate part ( 15 ) is hinged to the support member ( 2 ) in a tiltable or foldable manner.

19. Support according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the material for the support ( 1 ), attachment ( 10 ) and fixing holder ( 5 ) is wood.
