Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a collapsible chair with a supporting, a covering for a hood-like draft shield receiving frame from each other between a storage and a sitting position pivotable, a foot part forming support frame.
The invention is therefore the object of a collapsible chair of the type described in such a way that a lightweight frame construction can be made possible without the stability of the chair affect. In addition to be set up with the erection of the frame and the windbreak.
The invention solves the problem set by the fact that the frame has at least four support frame whose transverse to the base plane frame planes intersect each other in the region of a central axis, that the support frame form an outgoing from the outside of the foot clamp for covering, adjacent to two immediately adjacent , engages between an access opening releasing straps, and that the foot parts and the clamping bracket in the region of the central axis are hinged together.
According to these measures, the support frame can be pivoted apart around the running at least substantially perpendicular to the standing surface of the chair center axis of the collapsed storage position in a sitting position, so that the individual from the central axis radially star-shaped projecting support frame extending substantially in a plane perpendicular to the surface, which advantageous loading conditions as a prerequisite creates that the individual support frame without risk to the chair stability comparatively easily, for example, made of wire, especially since the ballast of the chair can be distributed to at least four support frame. At least four support frames are required for the construction of the hood-like draft shield, the covering of which engages the outriggers from the outside of the foot part, which are hinged together at their upper ends in the region of the central axis and therefore when the collapsed chair is set up span the clothing in the circumferential direction. For this purpose, the fabric is attached to two immediately adjacent, releasing an access opening between them clamping brackets, which are pivoted apart when setting up the folded chair about the central axis until the fabric is stretched around the intermediate clamping bracket, which in the unfolding of the covering with respect to the end tensioning straps be taken through the clothing. In the fan-up pivoted sitting position between them an access opening releasing, with respect to the covering end-side clamping bracket defined in their mutual pivotal position, which can be done in different ways. Particularly simple construction conditions arise, however, if for a purpose the support frame connecting the end clamps elastic band is used, which attacks in the foot parts of the support frame with the end clamps and keeps the fabric of the windbreak stretched under a bias in the circumferential direction. The fabricated example of a fabric seat can also be attached together with a backrest and armrests of a fabric to the support frame to be brought simultaneously with the frame in the sitting position. But it is also possible to provide a separate seat and backrest, which is inserted into the clamped frame. For articulated connection of the remote from the foot ends of the clamping bracket these ends of the clamping bracket can overlap each other and are connected to each other by a common pivot axis. Similarly, the foot parts of the support frame may have upper and lower radial legs which engage over each other and have a common pivot axis, so that there is a common pivot axis corresponding to the central axis of the chair. However, this means that the support frame can not lie flat against each other in the storage position, which affects the storage position of the collapsible chair. To remedy this situation, the frame-like foot parts may be pivotally mounted with parallel to the central axis inner legs in bearing bodies, so that with respect to the storage position of the support frame of a thickness of the frame leg corresponding bearing distance transversely to the frame plane of the adjacent support frame as a prerequisite for a flat abutting the in the Storage pivoted support frame can be met.
Since the storage position of the individual support frame in the bearing bodies generally require a greater bearing distance from each other than the thickness of the frame legs, this means that the inner leg of the Foot parts of the support frame receiving bearing eyes of the bearing body not only transversely to the frame plane of the flat abutting support frame, but also in the direction of the support frame must be offset from each other, which in practice requires a substantially V-shaped arrangement of the bearing eyes.
Another way to ensure a flat abutment of the support frame in the swiveled storage position of the frame, results when the bearing body from the bearing eyes for the inner leg forming, mutually pivotable tabs are composed, so that these tabs are pivoted together when pivoting the support frame in the storage position and thereby give the mutual bearing distance transversely to the frame plane of the mutually pivoted support frame.
