Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kontaktelement für Leiterplattenklemmen. The invention relates to a contact element for printed circuit board terminals.

Known are contact elements for printed circuit board terminals, which have a clamping body, in which an input opening for insertion of a conductor and a screw for clamping attachment of the conductor is arranged in the clamping body. If such contact elements transported, there is a problem in that the screw is not secured in the clamp body and can be solved during transport, so there is a risk of loss of the screw.

Furthermore, such contact elements are used by hand, since the shape of the single clamp with the upwardly projecting screw is very unwieldy, so that for an automated processing very complex special machines would be needed.

From the DE 24 16 231 is an electrical terminal for connecting electrical conductors to a zero or earth potential-carrying busbar with a clamping body, which has an input opening for insertion of a conductor and a screw for clamping attachment of the conductor in the clamping body known.

From the DE 24 02 087 a bare terminal for Nulloder protective conductor terminals is known, the clamping body having an input opening for insertion of a conductor and a screw for clamping attachment of the conductor in the clamp body, which is provided with an additional piece having a designation area provides a backup of the screw causes a guide for a screwdriver allows and / or causes a tolerance compensation of juxtaposed, metallic clamping bodies.

From the DE 92 17 684 The suggestion is to use terminals in accordance with the two aforementioned protective rights as PCB terminals.

The object of the invention is therefore to develop a contact element for printed circuit board terminals such that a backup for the screw is provided and that the processing of the contact element is simplified.

The object is achieved by a contact element for PCB terminals with the features of claim 1.

Advantageous embodiments and further developments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.

According to the invention a contact element for releasable attachment to the contact element is provided. The contact element has a contact surface and a fastening element for releasable attachment to the contact element. Due to the releasable attachment, it is possible to first attach the contact element after production of the contact element to the contact element and then to transport it. If the contact element has arrived at the position at which it is to be processed, the contact element can be released again. The contact surface of the abutment element is larger than the cross-sectional area of the clamp body in order to provide a sufficiently large attack surface for automation devices, in particular for suction pads or the like, so that the contact elements can be moved with conventional automation devices.

It has proved to be particularly advantageous to make the contact surface flat and unbroken. Such a running contact surface is ideal for suction gripper, since it facilitates the formation of the necessary vacuum for the gripping process, since no air can flow through a closed, hole-free contact surface and a flat surface facilitates the application of the seal of a suction pad.

In the invention, the fastening element of the contact element for releasable attachment to the screw head of the screw of the contact element is suitable. The contact elements are usually designed such that the contacts, which must be arranged on a printed circuit board, are arranged on one side of the clamping body of the contact element, while the screw on the opposite side of the contacts of the clamping body protrudes from the clamping body. If the fastener attached to the screw head, can the contact elements are gripped from above and in particular be arranged with the aid of the contact element on the corresponding positions of the circuit board, so that during the entire transport and processing of the contact element, the contact element can be arranged on the contact element and is removed only after correct positioning. Furthermore, the contact element represents a loss protection for the screw.

The fastening element preferably has a latching element, a clamping element and / or a positive-locking element, so that the contact element via the fastening element as simple as possible, but can be reliably arranged on the contact element.

Particularly preferably, the fastening element is designed as a ring or at least one, preferably two ring segments, which can lie in particular around the screw head in the screw of the contact element. This ensures that the screw rests substantially non-rotatably in the fastening element of the contact element.

In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, a side wing is arranged on the contact element in such a way that, in the state of the contact element fastened to the contact element, it bears against the contact element such that it forms an anti-twist device. This ensures that during transport of the contact element, the screw can not fall out of the clamping body and it is particularly secured against rotation, provided that it is arranged against rotation in the contact element.

Preferably, two side wings are arranged on the contact element in such a way that they rest on the contact element in the state of the contact element fastened to the contact element such that the contact element is releasably clamped. This allows the side wings both allow the rotation and at the same time take over the function of the fastener. In particular, preferably correspondingly formed fastening elements can simultaneously fulfill the function of anti-rotation.

Preferably, the contact surface is formed substantially rectangular and has a recess on a corner. This recess serves to be able to orient the contact elements in a conveyor belt of a pick and place machine or any other automation device always in the same direction.

The contact element according to the invention for printed circuit board terminals has a contact element, whereby the contact element can be handled in automation devices, since they can act on the contact surface of the contact element. In addition, it is ensured that the screw can not accidentally unscrew from the clamp body.

Preferably, the clamping body has a wire protection which prevents the screw from damaging the conductor inserted into the clamping body.

Preferably, at least one Lötpin or an SMD surface (SMD = Surface Mounted Device) is arranged on the clamp body in order to attach the contact element to a circuit board can.

Particularly preferably, the contact element is designed as a single terminal, since it is precisely for such contact elements, the need to handle these items easily.

In the clamp body 22, a wire guard 24 is arranged, which extends from the upper side 22a of the clamp body 22 through the inlet opening 23 into the clamp body 22 and thus comes to rest between the screw 25 and the introduced through the inlet opening 23 in the clamp body 22 so that it prevents the conductor from being damaged by screwing in the screw 25.

The arranged on the contact element 20 contact element 10 has a substantially rectangular contact surface 12, which has a recess 13 at a corner. The contact surface 12 is unbroken, so has no holes within the edge of the surface. Furthermore, the contact surface is flat. The contact surface 12 in this case has an area which is greater than the cross-sectional area through the clamping body 22, wherein the cross-sectional area as a surface of a section perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the screw 25 outside the region of the inlet opening 23, in particular as the surface of the top 22a or the bottom 22b results. As a result, viewed from above, the contact surface 12 essentially completely covers the contact element 20. In particular, it is here The surface of the contact surface 12 is larger than the projected base of the clamping body 22 of the contact element 20. This ensures that the contact surface 12 an automation device can attack, for example with a suction pad and the contact element 20 can thus be handled in a simple manner in an automation device ,

The contact element 10 is detachably fastened to the contact element 20 via a fastening element 14, wherein the attachment should be so stable that even when gripping only the contact element 10 by an automation device, the downwardly hanging contact element 20 should not be able to be released by its own weight. In the present case, the fastening element 14 has two ring segments 15, which positively surround the screw head 26 of the screw 25 or which latch onto the screw head 26 of the screw 25. It should be ensured that the screw head 26 in the fastener 14 can not be rotated easily.

On the contact element 10, in particular on the contact surface 12, a side wing 18 is arranged substantially perpendicular to the contact surface 12, wherein it is arranged on the same side of the contact surface 12 as the fastening element 14 and thus in the attached to the contact element 20 state of the contact element 10 in the direction of the contact element 20 has. The side wing 18 is designed such that it rests in the patch on the contact element 20 state of the contact element 10 on the contact element 20 such that the contact element 10 can not be against the contact element 20, for example, about the longitudinal axis of the screw 25, rotated. For example, the side wing 18 abuts directly on a side surface of the clamping body 22. Especially more than one side wing 18 can be arranged on the contact element 10. With the help of the contact element 10 is thus on the one hand ensures that the screw 25 is arranged captive on the contact element 20. On the other hand, the screw 25 can not be rotated in the clamp body 22, so that they can neither turn out nor into the clamp body 22 and thus after mounting the contact element 20 without further manipulation directly the corresponding conductor can be connected to the contact element 20 ,

In FIG. 3 is the embodiment consisting of the contact element 20 and the contact element 10 according to FIG. 1 in a shown in a conveyor belt 30 of an automation device, such as a pick and place machine, used. The conveyor belt 30 is substantially U-shaped, so that the contact element 20 can be suspended from above in the conveyor belt 30 and engages with the short sides of the substantially rectangular contact surface 12 of the contact element 10 in recesses 31, 32 of the conveyor belt. In this case, the recess 31 is slightly narrower than the recess 32, so that the contact element 10, which has the recess 13 in the contact surface 12 only on one side, can be inserted into the conveyor belt 30 in a clear orientation. In this way, it is ensured that the contact elements 20 are all transported in the same orientation in the conveyor belt 30.
