Auf Grund der Beanspruchungen der Steckverbindungen im Betrieb im Fahrzeug sowie bei der Montage ist es erforderlich, eine dauerhafte, aber ggf. lösbare Verbindung zwischen Stecker und Kuppler herzustellen und gleichzeitig bei der Montage, d. h. dem Zusammenstecken von Stecker und Kuppler, sicherzustellen, dass sich Stecker und Kuppler auch in ihrer gewünschten Soll-Position (vollständige Zusammensteckung) zueinander befinden. Hierzu ist es schon bekannt geworden, dass der Kuppler aus einem Kontaktträger zur Aufnahme der Kontaktpartner, die am Ende eines Kabels angeordnet sind, ausgebildet ist, mit einem Schutzkragen (auch Gehäuse genannt) versehen wird, wobei danach der fertig montierte und bestückte Kuppler mit dem Stecker zusammengebracht wird, wobei diese korrespondierende Rastmittel aufweisen, die nach dem Zusammenstecken den Stecker und den Kuppler wirksam und dauerhaft miteinander in Verbindung halten. Dieser Aufbau erfüllt zwar grundsätzlich die Anforderungen, hat aber Nachteile bei der Montage. Im Regelfall erfolgt die Konfektionierung des Kupplers in einem anderen Betrieb als die Montage des Kupplers mit dem Stecker. Anschließend erfolgt das Aufstecken (insbesondere Aufschieben) des Schutzkragens (Gehäuse) auf den Kontaktträger, wobei dieser in einer Vorverraststellung an dem Kontaktträger zur Anlage kommt. Alternativ wird der Schutzkragen in Vorraststellung auf den Kontaktträger bestückt und erst danach werden bei einem anderen Unternehmen (dem sogenannten Konfektionär) die Kontaktpartner ("Kontaktteile") bestückt. Dabei sind die diese Vorverraststellung bewirkenden Rastmittel derart gestaltet, dass der Schutzkragen an dem Kontaktträger in einer Vorverraststellung verbleibt, allerdings erst dann in seine Endverraststellung verschoben werden kann, wenn der Kontaktträger vollständig mit dem Stecksockel des Steckers zusammengesteckt worden ist. Dadurch ist der Vorteil gegeben, dass der Kuppler mit seinem Kontaktträger und Schutzkragen in einem anderen Betrieb hergestellt und konfektioniert werden kann, und die weitere Montage in einem anderen Betrieb möglich ist. Außerdem ist der Vorteil gegeben, dass der Schutzkragen verliersicher an dem Kontaktträger angeordnet ist. Weiterhin ist der Vorteil gegeben, dass der Stecker unabhängig von dem Kuppler hergestellt und ebenfalls konfektioniert werden kann. Nach dieser Konfektionierung können dann Stecker und Kuppler in einem anderen Betrieb, insbesondere bei einem Fahrzeughersteller, montiert und zusammengesteckt werden, wobei die erfindungsgemäßen Rastmittel weiterhin den Vorteil aufweisen, dass sie so gestaltet sind, dass der Schutzkragen erst dann aus seiner Vorverraststellung in eine Endverraststellung an dem Stecker bringbar ist, wenn der Kontaktträger vollständig mit dem Stecker zusammengesteckt worden ist. - Plug-in connection (1) according to Claim 3, characterized in that the plug-in base (4) has a base plate (6) with a circumferential collar (7) arranged on it, wherein the latching lugs (8, 9) are arranged on the collar (7).
- Plug-in connection (1) according to Claim 3 or 4, characterized in that in each case two first latching lugs (8) and also in each case two further latching lugs (9) are arranged opposite one another on the plug-in base (4).
- Plug-in connection (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the contact carrier (3) has at least one latching lug (13) and also at least one latching tab (12) with a recess (14), wherein the latching lug (13) and the latching tab (12) are arranged one behind the other in the operating direction of the protective collar (4) which can be moved over the contact carrier (3).
- Plug-in connection (1) according to Claim 6, characterized in that the protective collar (2) has at least one recess (11) which interacts with the latching lug (9) and also at least one latching hook (10) which interacts with the latching lug (8) and has a recess.
- Plug-in connection (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that in each case two recesses (11) and in each case two latching hooks (10) are arranged opposite one another.
- Plug-in connection (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, for the purpose of locking the plug and the coupler, a force is applied only when the plug and the coupler have been moved at least to a preliminary locking position with respect to one another.
