Abstract

The invention relates to a method for forming stacks of bags from bags (9) which are fed to a revolving transport means (135, 130). The bags (9) are placed on one of their front faces by the effect of gravity.

Description

The present invention relates to a method for forming bag stacks from bags, to an apparatus for carrying out one of these methods and to an apparatus for producing flat bags.

Stacking bags is a long-standing problem area. Also the DE 35 24 203 C2 deals among other things with the associated problems. According to the state of the art flat bottom bags are made by directly from a conveyor cylinder bag with the bottoms just formed perpendicular to a shelf be parked Here, the opening of the bag points upwards. The stacks are thus formed by the bags are strung together. They touch each other with their front pages. However, this method has proved disadvantageous as the length of the bags increases.

The US 4,357,126 shows a method in which the bags are placed on one of their front sides and stacked so.

Especially in Pinchbodenbeuteln an increase in the length of the same is required in recent years. The resulting bags can be parked only bad vertical.

The present invention has for its object to propose a stacking method in which bag stacks are formed in a reliable manner.

The inventive object is achieved by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.

In the design of this method, a belt-tongs system is used, which transports the bags up to the deposit and aligned in a suitable manner.

The present invention provides that the following Pinchbodenbeutel are brought to the already on the stack, deposited bag, while the subsequent bag the already deposited bags their front page, on which the pinch fold is folded back turn. If this method is deviated from, there is a risk that the subsequent bags reopen the just glued Pinchböden the deposited bag by engaging with its leading end into the fold. For speed reasons, the use of multiple belt-tongs systems and the provision of multiple storage locations may be necessary. In this case, the belt-tongs systems can be used sequentially at storage locations, a diverter then controls the supply of the bags to each operating system, so that inter alia, two of these systems are used alternately. In this way, for example, time can be gained for discharging the already formed stacks. It may be advantageous if the belt-tongs system rotates the bag by 180 °, so that the front side at the end of the transport with the belt-tongs system faces the stack, which would be facing away from the stack without the belt-tongs system ,

Fig. 1 shows a flat and side-folding bag machine 1 with a folding and transport cylinder 2, on which a part of Pinchboden bag making is made. Such folding and transport cylinder 2 has a plurality of pliers 3, of which bags or semi-finished bag can be added. The rotation of the folding and transport cylinder 2 about its axis 4 leads these bags or bag semi-finished products to different processing stations and also past the upper folding cylinder (folding blade) 5. The exact configuration of such Bag machine 1, which indeed includes a machine frame 6, but is not the subject of the present patent application. Rather, it is at this point to show that the bags are placed on a bag tray 7, wherein the bags 9 line up in their vertical extent there. The bags 9 are prevented from tipping over by the bag support 8. The result of this usual measure, however, are very unstably stacked bags, which are also exposed to a harmful burden shortly after their bonding.

FIG. 2 shows a bagging machine 1, which is equipped with a device according to the invention. The bag machine 1 again has a folding and transport cylinder 2 and an upper folding cylinder (folding blade) 5. The bags 9 are brought from the discharge 15 for leaving the folding and transporting cylinder 2 and are handed over to a double belt conveyor 10a. From this, the bags 9 are guided to a switch 11, which decides whether the bags 9 are transferred to the double belt conveyor 10b or the double belt conveyor 10c. The double belt conveyor 10b feeds an upper tray, while double belt conveyor 10c feeds a lower tray. After passing through these double belt conveyors 10b and 10c, the bags pass to transfer stations 12b, c, from which they are respectively transferred to the associated belt-tongs system 13b or c. The said belts 13b and 13c run on the transport rollers 14. The two belt-tongs systems 13b and 13c are respectively provided with grippers or tongs 16 which carry the bags 9 with them. The bags 9 are rotated by the belt-tongs system with respect to the storage locations 17b and 17c by 180 °. In the present case, this rotation contributes to the fact that the side of the newly added to the stack front of each bag on which the Pinchfaltung is placed on the front of the already deposited bag meets, which just has no pinch fold and which is so smooth ,

The FIG. 2 shows a plurality of bags 9 at the storage locations 17. When these bags stack at the storage locations 17 a certain number of bags have, the corresponding bag stack in the direction of arrow 18 are transported away from the respective storage location. During this time, the belt-tongs system 13b or 13c is activated, and the switch 11 supplies the bags 9 via the respective double-belt conveyors 10b and 10c. In this way, enough time remains for the Ausschleusungsvorgang the corresponding bag stack of the bag depositories 17.

FIG. 3 shows a schematic of a flat bag 9 with a Pinchboden, which has a folded-back bottom portion 19 which is folded back on a front side 21 and connected thereto by gluing. The distance of the folded-back flap 19 from the front 21 was exaggerated. The side 21 opposite is the smooth side 20, on which no bottom part 19 has been folded back.
