The invention relates to a separator for the purification of a fluid stream, in particular for de-oiling a gas stream, according to the preamble of independent claim 1.
Stand der TechnikState of the art
From EP 0840644 A, a separator is known, which filters out impurities from a fluid. The separator has a filter medium and end caps, which are connected to the filter medium. Furthermore, a perforated and electrically conductive tube is arranged around the filter element. The connection between the end caps and the filter medium or the tube is made by an electrically conductive adhesive.
It is also known from WO 2004009215 a separator for cleaning the fluid flow. This also consists of end caps, which include a filter medium, wherein a metallic connection between the end caps and a support tube for the filter element is required.
The invention has for its object to provide a separator for cleaning a fluid stream, which manages without contact elements for deriving static charges. This object is solved by the features of independent claim 1.
Offenbarung der ErfindungDisclosure of the invention
The main advantage of the invention is that all components of the separator are substantially free of metal and the separator is constructed at the same time that it withstands high differential pressures without permanent deformation. According to one embodiment of the invention, the cover plate or base plate each have a receiving groove for receiving the filter medium. As a result, a correct position positioning during assembly of the filter is created.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, a receptacle for a drainage pipe is provided in the bottom plate. This drainage tube has the task of discharging the separated liquid which accumulates in the bottom area.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the support components or carrier components for the filter medium made of a thermoplastic material and can be connected to each other for example by ultrasound, friction welding or gluing. Of course, it is also possible to use thermoset or reinforced plastics.
According to a further embodiment, the base plate or cover plate features or depressions, which allow in conjunction with a housing a correct position positioning. This ensures that only the correct element can be installed as a separator in an existing housing.
These and other features of preferred embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the claims and from the description and the drawings, wherein the individual features each individually or in the form of sub-combinations in the embodiment of the invention and in other fields be realized and can represent advantageous and protectable versions for which protection is claimed here.

Ausführungsform(en) der ErfindungEmbodiment (s) of the invention
In Figure 1, a separator 10 is shown in a sectional view, said separator is designed as Luftentölelement, in particular for compressed air systems. The separator 10 has a first cover plate 11 and a bottom plate 12 and a filter medium 13, which is connected together in a ring and at its end faces 14, 15 with the two plates, ie bottom plate 12 and cover plate 11, is glued. In this embodiment, the filter medium is a glass fiber paper. The cover plate 12 is clamped between a pot-shaped housing 16 and a cover 17 and screwed to it. Thus, the position of the separator 10 is fixed. In order to protect the filter medium 13 from damage, a protective cover is arranged around the filter medium 13. Within the filter medium 13, a support tube 19 may be provided which prevents buckling of the filter medium 13 and is also embedded in the bottom plate 12 and cover plate 11. The support tube 19 may consist of a thermoplastic material which has openings so that the purified, in particular de-oiled, fluid can flow through. Within the support tube 19, a fine filter medium 20 is arranged, which removes finer, not removed from the filter medium 13 from the fluid impurities. In the case of de-aerating elements, the fine filter medium 20 is an open fleece, which absorbs larger drops which have formed in the filter medium 13 by coalescence and can slide downwards. Thus, the fine filter medium 20 is a Nachabscheider. In order to protect the fine filter medium 20 from damage during assembly, a perforated inner tube 18 is provided, which is disposed within the fine filter medium 20, wherein the inner tube 21 is welded or glued to the fine filter medium. In the construction of the filter media, several variants are conceivable. First, it is possible to omit the support tube 19, the filter medium 13 is then directly on the fine filter medium 20, the inner tube 21 thus supports both the fine filter medium and the filter medium. It is also possible to omit the inner tube 21. In this case, a support tube 19 is provided, which is equipped on the outer side with the filter medium 13 and on the inside with the fine filter medium 20. Conveniently, the fine filter medium 20 is welded or glued to the inner tube 21. Within the separator is a drainage pipe 22, through which liquid that accumulates in the bottom region of the separator, can be sucked up. The drainage pipe is guided through the cover plate 11, this means that in the cover plate 11, for example, a pipe is provided with connecting pieces. A connecting piece is also located on the bottom plate 12 and will be explained in more detail below.
Figure 2 shows the bottom plate 12 with a receiving groove 23 for receiving the filter medium and the corresponding support body. It can be seen that the connection between bottom plate 12 and the filter medium can be made by gluing. The adhesive fills the two annular gap-shaped openings 24, 25 and ensures a secure and pressure-stable attachment. In the figure, the positions of the filter medium 13, the inner tube 21 and the fine filter medium 20 are clearly visible. Here, the fine filter medium is arranged by gluing or welding on the inner tube 21. An additional support tube is not required here.
Figure 3 shows the positioning of the drainage pipe 22 on the bottom plate 12. This bottom plate 12 is equipped with a connecting piece 26. On this connecting piece, the drainage pipe 22 is attached. The connecting piece has a passage opening all the way into the collecting space 27 for the collected liquid, so that suction of the complete liquid contained in the collecting space is possible.
