Description
The present invention relates on the one hand to a washing machine.
It also relates to a method of spinning a washing cycle of a washing machine to effectively spin the laundry in a final phase of a washing cycle, and secondly, a machine adapted to to implement the spinning method according to the invention. This method makes it possible to improve the spin coefficient of a washing cycle without increasing the speed of rotation of a drum.
In general, the invention relates to machines for washing clothes or spinning laundry, and more particularly machines for domestic use.
Washing machines are known on the one hand with a final spin phase at a maximum speed step that can be preceded by a spin phase at a limited speed step.
However, these washing machines have the disadvantage of obtaining an inefficient spin result, especially for loads of laundry mainly comprising cotton.
Washing machine manufacturers are looking to increase the maximum speed of rotation of the drum to improve the spin coefficient. From a threshold speed of rotation of the drum, the increase in the speed of rotation of the drum has only a small effect on the results of spinning of the laundry.
In addition, the increase in the speed of rotation of the drum generates additional mechanical stresses on the washing machine, and in particular on the drum. Therefore, the cost of obtaining a washing machine increases to obtain elements constituting said machine more resistant to phenomena of wear, vibration and fatigue.
Moreover, for a given washing machine the speed of rotation of the drum can not be increased indefinitely without taking the risk of mechanical breakage, and which can lead to the destruction of the drum with the possible consequences that follow each other over the rest of said drum. machine.
The increase in the speed of rotation of the drum also has the effect of degrading the fibers of the laundry items introduced into the drum and increasing the creasing of the laundry items.
The present invention aims to solve the aforementioned drawbacks and to propose a washing machine with a spinning process of a washing cycle of a washing machine to effectively spin the laundry in a phase end of a washing cycle quickly and reliably according to the load of laundry introduced into the drum, and safely to the elements constituting the washing machine and the user.
For this purpose, the present invention is directed to a method of final spinning of a washing cycle of a washing machine comprising a tank filled with liquid from a water inlet, a rotary drum of loading laundry, control means of a laundry program.
- une première phase d'essorage à un palier de vitesse maximum de rotation du tambour ;
- une phase d'arrêt du tambour ;
- a first spinning phase at a maximum speed rotation drum rotation;
- a slowing down phase of the rotational speed of the drum and said rotational speed of the drum being less than at least one desatellizing speed of the laundry; and
- a stop phase of the drum;
- a brewing phase to redistribute the laundry inside the drum; and
- a second spinning phase at a maximum speed of rotation of the drum.
According to the invention, the maximum speed of rotation of the drum is between 1000 and 1600 revolutions per minute, at least one release means is used during the stirring phase to redistribute the laundry inside the drum. so as to take off the laundry pieces from the peripheral wall of the drum, where the at least one release means used during the brewing phase is a water addition phase in the wash tank or a phase of abrupt braking of the drum.
Thus, the spin coefficient of the washing machine is substantially improved. The sequence of a first spinning phase with a second spinning phase at a maximum speed after a phase of slowing down the speed of rotation of the drum below a desatlisation speed of the laundry makes it possible to obtain better results. spinning performance without increasing the rotation speed of the drum.
This spinning process can be integrated into any washing machine without no structural change. This spinning process does not generate any additional cost on the cost of obtaining the washing machine.
Improved spinning performance makes it easier to meet current environmental standards.
In addition, the sequencing of the spinning process is without additional stress on the elements constituting the washing machine.
The step of slowing down the speed of rotation of the drum below at least one desatellizing speed of the laundry is to take off at least part of the laundry items from the walls of the drum and allow a new distribution of the laundry to the laundry. inside said drum.
The spinning method according to the invention is preferably implemented at the end of a washing cycle of a washing machine to improve the spinning performance. This is a final spin cycle before stopping rotation of the drum to allow unloading of the laundry introduced into said drum. In this way, the laundry contains a minimum amount of water and thus allows the drying of the latter as quickly as possible.
The spinning method according to the invention can also be followed by a drying cycle during the implementation of the invention in a washer-dryer.
According to a preferred characteristic of the invention, the phase of slowing down the rotational speed of the drum is implemented until a rotation speed of the drum is less than or equal to a speed of desatellization of the laundry.
Thus, the laundry contained in the drum comes off at least in part from the walls of said drum by a slow rotational movement to allow a new distribution of the laundry inside said drum before the second spin phase of the method according to the invention.
The pieces of laundry are distributed differently inside the drum and in this way the expulsion of water contained in this load of laundry is favored during the second phase of spinning of the process. The overall spin performance is thus improved.
The slowing down phase of the rotation speed of the drum is followed by a stopping phase of the drum, and said stopping phase of the drum preceding the second spinning phase.
Thus, the laundry pieces are detached at least in part from the walls of the drum by the force of gravity to allow a new distribution of the laundry inside said drum before the second spin phase of the process according to the invention.
The pieces of laundry are distributed differently inside the drum and in this way the expulsion of water contained by this load of laundry is promoted during the second spinning phase of the process. The overall spin performance is thus improved.
The stopping phase of the drum is followed by a stirring phase to redistribute the laundry inside the drum, and said stirring phase of the laundry preceding the second spinning phase.
Thus, a tumbling phase of the laundry is carried out between the two spinning phases of the process according to the invention so as to redistribute the load of laundry inside the drum. The pieces of laundry placed in the center of the drum during the first spinning phase having been subjected only to limited centrifugal force, given their position in the drum, move at least partly towards the periphery of the drum. drum. A position of the pieces of laundry closer to the periphery of the drum will allow them to exert a centrifugal force higher compared to the distance to the center of the drum.
At least one release means is implemented during the brewing phase to redistribute the laundry inside the drum.
Thus, at least one release means is implemented during the brewing phase to take off the laundry items from the peripheral wall of the drum. This release means makes it possible to promote the release of the laundry having a tendency to adhere to the drum or the pieces of laundry between them following the first spinning phase carried out at a maximum speed of rotation of the drum. The laundry pieces can thus be mixed again to create a new distribution of the laundry load inside the drum before the second spinning phase and therefore improve the efficiency of the spinning.
Other features and advantages of the invention will become apparent in the description below.

This washing machine can be a washing machine for domestic use or a washer-dryer or a spinning machine.
In this embodiment, an overhead loading machine has been illustrated. Of course, the present invention applies to all types of washing machines, and including front-loading.
In a conventional manner, such a washing machine 1 comprises a
A door located on the upper face of the machine 1 allows the user to access the inside of the
Un tableau de commande 4 est également prévu en partie supérieure de la machine 1.A control panel 4 is also provided in the upper part of the machine 1.
The washing machine 1 comprises a water level regulating device (not shown). This water regulating device can be, in a known manner, constituted by an air pressure switch whose bell-shaped compression chamber is disposed in the
The washing machine 1 also comprises a drain pump for discharging the liquid at the bottom of the
In general, the washing and rinsing cycles are sequenced in baths by emptying operations during which only the drain pump is actuated.
Of course, the washing machine according to the invention comprises all the equipment and means necessary for the implementation of a conventional washing process in such a rotary drum machine.
Only the specific means for carrying out the dewatering process of a washing cycle according to the invention will be described hereinafter.
The detergent dosing method used in a washing machine as described above will now be described.
The present invention is directed to a method of final spinning of a washing cycle of a washing machine 1 comprising a
- une première phase d'essorage à un palier de vitesse maximum de rotation du tambour 3 ;
- a first spin phase at a maximum speed rotation speed of the drum 3;
- a phase of slowing down the speed of rotation of the drum 3 and said speed of rotation of the drum 3 being less than at least one rate of desatellization of the laundry; and.
- a second spinning phase at a maximum speed of rotation of the drum 3.
Thus, the spin coefficient of the washing machine 1 is substantially improved. The sequence of a first spinning phase with a second spinning phase at a maximum speed after a phase of slowing down the speed of rotation of the drum 3 below a speed of desatellization of the laundry makes it possible to obtain better spin performance without increasing the rotational speed of the drum 3.
The spinning method according to the invention makes it possible to improve the spin coefficient of the order of 5% compared to a conventional final spin cycle.
The desatellization of the laundry in the drum 3 occurs as soon as the centrifugal force exerted by the speed of rotation of the drum 3 is substantially less than the force of gravity exerted by the laundry items contained in said drum 3.
The speed of desatellization of the laundry is between 50 and 75 revolutions per minute, and preferably of the order of 50 revolutions per minute.
Ce procédé d'essorage n'engendre aucun surcoût sur le coût d'obtention de la machine à laver le linge 1.This spinning process can be integrated into any washing machine 1 without any structural modification. This spinning process does not generate any additional cost on the cost of obtaining the washing machine 1.
Improved spinning performance makes it easier to meet current environmental standards.
In addition, the sequencing of the spinning process phases is without additional constraints on the elements constituting the washing machine 1. Only mechanical fatigue can be influenced according to the duration of the various speed stages of the spin phases.
The step of slowing down the speed of rotation of the drum 3 below at least one desatellizing speed of the laundry acts to take off at least part of the laundry pieces from the walls of the drum 3 and to allow a new distribution of the laundry to inside said drum 3.
The spinning process according to the invention is preferably carried out at the end of a washing cycle of a washing machine 1 to improve the spinning performance. This is a final spin cycle before stopping rotation of the drum 3 to allow unloading of the laundry introduced into said drum 3. From In this way, the laundry contains a minimum amount of water and allows the drying of the latter as quickly as possible.
The spinning method according to the invention can also be followed by a drying cycle during the implementation of the invention in a washer-dryer.
In a first embodiment of the invention, the first and second spinning phases may be identical. The rotational speed bearings of the drum 3 may be identical during said first and second spin phases. Likewise, the durations of the rotational speed bearings of the drum 3 may be identical during said first and second spinning phases.
In a second embodiment of the invention, the first and second spin phases may be different. The rotational speed bearings of the drum 3 may be different during said first and second spinning phases. Likewise, the durations of the rotational speed bearings of the drum 3 may be different during said first and second spinning phases.
A spinning method according to the invention is defined by the maximum speed of rotation of the drum 3, the rotational speed bearings of the drum 3 during the two spinning phases, and the durations of said rotational speed bearings. Said spinning method makes it possible to improve the efficiency of the spinning and to optimize the mechanical stresses on the elements constituting the washing machine 1.
The spinning method according to the invention can be limited to a number of washing cycles of a washing machine 1 requiring a high efficiency during the spin cycle.
The calculation of the spin coefficient is obtained by measuring the mass difference of the wet load of laundry after a spin cycle with respect to the mass of the same load of dry laundry before the start of a wash cycle, then this mass difference corresponding to the mass of water contained in the laundry after a spin cycle is divided by the mass of the dry laundry load before the start of a wash cycle.
The spin performance is obtained essentially by acting on three influential parameters. The first influential parameter is the maximum speed of rotation of the drum 3. The second influential parameter is the rise time in rotation speed of the drum 3 between the different speed stages, which can also be expressed by the acceleration. The third influential parameter is the duration of the speed rotation of the drum 3 and in particular the duration of the final bearing at the maximum rotational speed.
As previously stated, the maximum rotational speed can not be increased indefinitely because of the mechanical stresses involved in a washing machine 1.
The rise times in rotational speed of the drum 3 are limited by the characteristics of the driving motor of the drum 3.
Then the rotational speed bearings times of the drum 3 are also limited firstly because of the characteristics of the engine and secondly because of the phenomenon of fatigue of the elements constituting the washing machines. The longer the rotational speed bearings of the drum 3 are, the longer the life of the washing machine 1 is short and particularly that of the drum 3. Moreover, the spin performance at each level of Drum rotation speed 3 reach an asymptote from a relatively short duration. The centrifugal force exerted on the load of laundry during the rotation of the drum 3 during a spinning phase makes it possible to expel a quantity of water at each speed step without being able to exceed a threshold.
The Applicant has been able to note these effects during his experiments on the spin cycles and has resulted in the spinning method according to the invention to improve the efficiency of the spin and reduce the risks compared to the trend of the spin. appliance market looking for a higher and higher drum rotation speed during the final spin.
The durations of the first and second spin phase may be identical or the first spin phase longer than the second spin phase.
Furthermore, the sequencing of the two spinning phases of the process according to the invention may have a duration substantially equal to the duration of a spin phase of a conventional cycle. In this way, the electricity consumption can be of the same order while increasing the performance of a washing cycle of the washing machine.
The maximum speed of rotation of the drum 3 is between 1000 and 1600 revolutions per minute as conventionally used on washing machines.
Bien entendu, la vitesse maximum de rotation du tambour 3 n'est pas limitée et peut prendre toute valeur déterminée par le fabricant de machine à laver le linge 1 en fonction de la conception de ladite machine 1.Of course, the maximum speed of rotation of the drum 3 is not limited and can take any value determined by the washing machine manufacturer 1 according to the design of said machine 1.
The difference between the maximum rotational speed increments during the first and second spin phases is in a range of 0 to 100 revolutions per minute.
This difference may be due to the mass difference between the first spin phase and the second spin phase. Part of the water contained by the laundry load during the first spin phase is expelled and the drive motor of the drum 3 can slightly increase the speed of rotation of the drum 3 during the second phase of drying. 'spinning.
In this way, the speed of rotation of the maximum drum 3 can be achieved without risk of damage to the elements constituting the washing machine 1.
The phase of slowing down the speed of rotation of the drum 3 is implemented until a speed of rotation of the drum 3 less than or equal to a speed of desatellization of the laundry.
Thus, the laundry contained in the drum 3 comes off at least in part from the walls of said drum 3 by a slow rotational movement to allow a new distribution of the laundry inside said drum 3 before the second spin phase of the process according to to the invention.
The pieces of laundry are distributed differently inside the drum 3 and in this way the expulsion of water contained by this load of laundry is favored during the second spinning phase of the process. The overall spin performance is thus improved.
The brewing speed of the laundry is between 30 and 60 revolutions per minute, and preferably of the order of 50 revolutions per minute.
The phase of slowing down the speed of rotation of the drum 3 is followed by a stop phase of the drum 3, and said stopping phase of the drum 3 preceding the second spinning phase.
Thus, the pieces of laundry are detached at least in part from the walls of the drum 3 by the force of gravity to allow a new distribution of the laundry inside said drum 3 before the second phase of spinning of the process according to the invention .
The pieces of laundry are distributed differently inside the drum 3 and in this way the expulsion of water contained by this load of laundry is favored during the second spinning phase of the process. The overall spin performance is thus improved.
The stopping phase of the drum 3 is followed by a brewing phase to redistribute the laundry inside the drum 3, and said brewing phase of the laundry preceding the second spinning phase.
Une position des pièces de linge plus proche de la périphérie du tambour 3 permettra une force centrifuge plus élevée au regard de la distance au centre du tambour 3.Thus, a phase of unfolding the laundry is implemented between the two spinning phases of the process according to the invention so as to redistribute the load of laundry inside the drum 3. The pieces of laundry placed in the center of the drum 3 during of the first spin phase having been subjected only to a limited centrifugal force in view of their position in the drum 3 move at least partly in the direction of the periphery of the drum 3. A position of the clothes more near the periphery of the drum 3 will allow a higher centrifugal force with respect to the distance to the center of the drum 3.
The first and second spinning phases are preceded by a phase of unbalance detection and distribution of the laundry in the drum 3.
The latter undergoes no mechanical stress that can cause damage during the rise in speed of rotation of the drum 3. The load of laundry is distributed homogeneously inside the drum 3 and plate uniformly against the peripheral wall of the drum 3.
At least one release means is used during the stirring phase to redistribute the laundry inside the drum 3.
Thus, at least one release means is implemented during the brewing phase to take off the laundry items from the peripheral wall of the drum. This release means makes it possible to promote the detachment of the laundry having a tendency to adhere to the drum following the first spinning phase carried out at a maximum speed of rotation of the drum. The laundry pieces can thus be mixed again to create a new distribution of the laundry load inside the drum before the second spinning phase and therefore improve the efficiency of the spinning.
In one embodiment of the invention, said at least one release means used during the brewing phase is a water addition phase in the
The phase of adding water into the
- in a first embodiment, the drain pump is stopped and an addition of water is carried out at the bottom of the
washing tank 2 to fill substantially slightly more than a dead volume. The water level can be controlled by an analog pressure switch for example. The drum 3 is rotated and the pieces of laundry located against the shell of the drum 3 lick the water level at the bottom of thetank 2. These pieces of laundry absorb a portion of the amount of water and come off the ground. inner surface of the drum 3. - in a second embodiment, the same detachment effect of the laundry pieces of the shell of the drum 3 can be obtained by watering drum 3 in the upper part. Water flows against the shell of the drum 3, the latter being rotated at a low rotational speed. By the presence of water on this part of the drum 3, the pieces of laundry located against the shell of said drum 3 are detached from the inner surface of said drum 3.
The small amount of water introduced into the
In another embodiment of the invention, said at least one release means used during the stirring phase is a sudden braking phase of the drum 3.
Cette force d'adhérence est notamment liée à la première phase d'essorage du procédé conforme à l'invention où la charge de linge est plaquée contre la paroi périphérique du tambour 3.The sudden braking phase of the drum 3 makes it possible to exert a force contrary to the adhesive force exerted between the peripheral wall of the drum 3 and the pieces of laundry. This adhesion force is particularly related to the first spinning phase of the process according to the invention where the load of laundry is pressed against the peripheral wall of the drum 3.
La détection du défoulage correspond à la détection du décollement du linge de la paroi périphérique du tambour 3.The detection of the release of the laundry during the stirring phase can be achieved by a measurement of variation of the rotational speed of the drum 3. The detection of the uncoupling corresponds to the detection of the detachment of the laundry from the peripheral wall of the drum 3.
Said measure of variation of the speed of rotation of the drum 3 can be performed on a rotational speed bearing lower than the speed of orisation of the laundry in the drum 3. The rotational speed bearing to realize the measurement of speed variation of rotation of the drum 3 may be of the order of 40 revolutions per minute.
The detection of the loosening is obtained when the load of laundry is not plated on the peripheral wall of the drum 3 and that it is brewed inside said drum 3. The brewing of the laundry inside the drum 3 generates strong variations in the speed of rotation of the drum 3 with respect to the target speed.
Dans le cas contraire, l'absence de mouvement de linge à l'intérieur du tambour 3 est détectée par une faible variation de vitesse de rotation du tambour 3.In the opposite case, the absence of movement of the laundry inside the drum 3 is detected by a small variation in the rotational speed of the drum 3.
