Description

The invention relates to a reclining chair according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such a reclining chair is from the DE OS 2 318 627 known. The recliner shown and described therein has a backrest with a tubular frame supporting a padding.

The seat part, also provided in its basic structure with a tubular frame, is pivotally connected to the backrest, while this is pivotally mounted on a frame frame having two spaced apart, side parts forming frame frame parts.

On the frame guide parts are fixed, in which, for example, guide runners of the seat part are guided longitudinally displaceable.

When the backrest is pivoted to the rear, the seat part is displaced forward and at the same time the seat part is raised in the rear area facing the backrest.

The backrest is rotatably mounted by means of pivot pins on the two opposite side parts of the frame frame, so that these pivot pins form pivot bearings, which are arranged outside the backrest.

However, this located on the outside of the backrest pivot storage requires special design precautions. Thus, a cushion covering the tubular frame of the backrest must be provided with corresponding recesses for the backrest to be movable.

Of course, the introduction of such recesses in the pad associated with a considerable amount of work, which precludes a simple and cost-effective production of the recliner. This is especially to be regarded as particularly disadvantageous, since such reclining chairs are produced in large quantities.

In addition, such recesses are often perceived as disturbing even in terms of design, resulting in reduced acceptance among potential customers.

A generic reclining chair is in the DE 23 59 440 A1 revealed. In this case, on the opposite side rails of the backrest are hinged on the outside in the direction opposite to a back cushion direction extending pivoting flaps, which are connected to a rear frame frame part, whereby between the backrest and the frame frame is formed upwardly open space.

The invention has for its object to further develop a reclining chair of the generic type so that it is cheaper to produce and is improved in terms of its overall appearance.

This object is achieved by a recliner with the features of claim 1.

The arrangement of the swivel plates is effected in such a way that the articulation points on the side rails of the backrest on the mutually facing inner sides of the side rails takes place, in contrast to the prior art, in which the articulation points are on the outside.

On the described special design of the upholstery of the backrest can thus be dispensed with. Rather, the pad can be cuboid-shaped, which of course, since further additional processing of the pad is no longer necessary, a more cost-effective production allowed.

In addition, the creative freedom in the conception of the upholstery is in no way limited, in particular not by disturbing components, which also gives great benefits that lead to a higher acceptance of the recliner.

The invention provides that the backrest is hinged to support strips of the seat part, which is fixedly secured to a seat subframe carrying said guide runners.

In this case, the support strips are connected below the seat part frame, so that a seat cushion in its Grundflächenabmaß is determined solely by the dimension of the seat part frame, while the distance to the backrest by the length of the support strips can be determined.

In the figures, a recliner can be seen, of which in the FIGS. 1 and 3 only the left half is shown, with a pivotally mounted on a frame frame 3, two opposite side rails 5 having backrest 1 to which a frame-side guides 13 slidably mounted seat part 2 is articulated, wherein the backrest 1 via attached to the side rails 5 pivot pin 12th is connected to the seat part 2.

According to the invention, the backrest 1 is fastened to the frame frame 3 via pivoting lugs 9 connected to the side rails 5 on the one hand and associated frame frame parts in the form of connecting sleeves 8 on the other hand.

The pivoting plates 9, of which only one is mentioned below for the sake of simplicity, are rotatably connected via a bearing journal 11 to the associated side member 5, while the pivoting tab 9 is firmly connected to the connecting sleeve 8, which in turn is rigidly connected to the frame frame 3.

To reinforce the backrest 1, the side rails 5 are connected to each other by transverse struts 6, while the frame frame 3 forms side parts on both sides, each having a connection plate 7, which are connected to each other via a connecting member 15 which extends parallel to the struts 6 ,

How the particular FIGS. 1 and 3 show very clearly, the pivot plate 9 is hinged to the inside of the side member 5 and connected below the seat part 2 with the connection sleeve 8, which of course can be shaped differently.

In the FIG. 2 a pivoted position of the backrest 1 is shown.

By pivoting backwards a reclining position is created, as in the FIG. 4 is indicated. It can be clearly seen that the seat part 2 is displaced forward by the pivoting of the backrest 1 while simultaneously raising relative to the frame frame 3. This is done by guiding a wedge-shaped guide runner 14 in the guide 13, which is connected to the frame frame 3, while the guide runner 14 is connected to the seat part 2 or to the seat part frame 4.

For a trouble-free movement, the pivoting flap 9 is formed cranked, that is, it has two mutually obtuse angle leg, wherein the pivoting flap 9 is designed so that it can pivot against the seat part 2 without hindrance.

Claims (5)

1. Recliner seat, having a back rest (1) which is attached to a rack frame (3) so that it can tilt, and having two opposing side beams (5), to which back rest (1) a seat part (2), which is mounted in guides (13) on the rack side so that it can move, is linked, wherein the back rest (1) is attached to the rack frame (3) via tilt brackets (9), connected to the side beams (5), on the one hand, and connected to assigned rack frame parts, on the other hand, and the tilt brackets (9) are linked to the insides of the side beams (5) facing one another, characterised in that the tilt brackets (9) in each case are firmly attached to a connecting piece located below the seat part (2) on the rack frame (3).
2. Recliner seat according to Claim 1, characterised in that the connecting piece is formed as a connecting tube (8).
3. Recliner seat according to Claim 1, characterised in that support shoulders (10) are attached to a seat part frame (4) of the seat part (2), to which the back rest (1) is connected so that it can tilt.
4. Recliner seat according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the connection of the back rest (1) to the support shoulders (10) with reference to the seat part (2) is provided below the connection of the tilt brackets (9) to the back rest (1).
5. Recliner seat according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the tilt brackets (9) have two arms running at an obtuse angle to one another, one of which is connected to the connecting piece and the other to the back rest (1).
