Description

The invention relates to a snow guard system according to the preamble of claim 1.

Known snow guard systems are often subject to problems in terms of mounting options on the roof surface, the resulting need for a variety of attachment points to support the snow guards sufficiently and thus in terms of material and installation costs.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a snow guard system specified in the preamble of claim 1, which is simple in design, universal and easy to install, while still suitable for large snow loads.

The solution of this object is achieved by the features of claim 1.

The snow guards system according to the invention is characterized in that it can be universally used by providing a base plate which can be fastened virtually anywhere in any desired roofs.

The rod holder of the snow guard system according to the invention also makes it possible by providing two parallel retaining walls, which are possible due to its U-shaped bent holding structure, a high guiding stability for snow guards, so that the snow guard system according to the invention with relatively few support points on an entire roof length. This in turn reduces the material and thus the assembly effort. Furthermore, it is possible, depending on the installation conditions, facing both the roof ridge and the roof ridge, the rod holder on the holding tube fix, since in a particularly preferred embodiment, the rod holder is provided with clamp strap tabs. These clamp band tabs are attached to the lower end of the rear wall of the holding part of the rod holder, which is arranged opposite the fastening tab of the rear wall, so that an additional fixation of the rod holder on the holding tube is possible, if the rod holder facing away from the roof ridge, so aligned with an oblique roof down is arranged.

The subclaims have further advantageous developments of the invention to the content.

Further details, advantages and features of the invention will become apparent from the following description of an embodiment with reference to the drawing.

In Fig. 1, an inventive snow guard system 1 for roofs, in particular for inclined roofs, which are formed as a foil roofs, is shown.

The snow guards system 1 usually has at least one snow guards bar. In the illustrated, particularly preferred embodiment, two snow guards 2 and 3, which are guided parallel to one another, are shown which, in the assembled state, extend over the entire roof surface on which the snow guard system 1 is to be mounted.

As illustrated in FIG. 1, the snow guards system 1 furthermore has a fastening device 5. The fastening device 5 is used for fixing the snow guard system 1 on a roof surface, which is not shown in detail in Fig. 1. Minimally, a single such fastening device 5 must be provided. However, it is understood that usually several such fasteners 5 are provided depending on the roof area to be protected, which then all support the snow guards 2 and 3 and absorb the forces occurring.

Representative, however, only one fastening device 5 is shown in Fig. 1, which comprises a base plate 6. The base plate 6 is usually rectangular in shape and has four recesses 22 to 25 in the example case. By means of these recesses 22 to 25, fastening elements, in particular tilting dowels, can be passed through for mounting, with which the base plate 6 can be fixed to the roof surface, practically at any point.

On the base plate 6, a holding tube 7 is preferably mounted centrally, which can be welded, for example, on the base plate 6.

As shown in FIG. 1 further shows, a rod holder 4 is fixed to the holding tube 7, which leads the snow guards 2 and 3 and can be fixed to the fastening device 5.

As is apparent from a combination of FIGS. 1 and 2, the rod holder 4 is formed as a U-shaped bent holding part 8, which is preferably a bent sheet metal part for the sake of manufacturing. The rod holder 8 has two parallel retaining walls 9 and 10 due to its U-shaped configuration. As FIG. 2 illustrates, each of the retaining walls 9 and 10 is provided with two passage openings 11 and 12 or 13 and 14 provided, through which the snow guards 2 and 3 can be inserted. In other words, each of the retaining walls 9 and 10 has a number of leading to leading snow guards corresponding number of passages.

The retaining walls 9 and 10 are connected due to the U-shaped configuration of a rear wall 15 which is arranged at right angles to the retaining walls 9 and 10.

At one end of the rear wall 15, in the assembled state at the upper end, a fastening tab 16 is arranged, which is formed in a particularly preferred embodiment as a bent-back from the rear wall 15 component. As illustrated in FIG. 2, the fastening tab 16 is arranged at least approximately at right angles to the rear wall 15 and is provided with a recess through which a receiving pin 17 can be inserted in the assembled state, which is fixed on the holding tube 7. This receiving pin 17 may be welded to the holding tube 7, preferably centrally, and be formed as a threaded bolt, so that the fastening tab 16 by means of a washer 21 and a nut 20 on the holding tube 7 can be removably fixed, as can be seen in particular from the enlarged view of Fig. 2 shows.

Fig. 2 shows in this mounting state, a gap 26 between the rear wall 15 and the outer circumference of the holding tube 7. In this space 26, an insulating or protective layer can be introduced, for example made of elastic material to a raised on the holding tube 7 for sealing roofing membrane from damage to protect.

If a plurality of fastening devices 5 are required for mounting the snow guards system 1 according to the invention, these correspond to the structure described above, so that the snow guards 2 and 3 only pass through the corresponding passages the holding part 8 of the respective fastening device are hindurchzustecken.

As particularly shown in FIG. 2, the particularly preferred embodiment shown in this figure is additionally provided with two clamp strap tabs 18 and 19, which are provided in the region of the lower end of the rear wall 15 according to FIG. Through this clamp strap tabs 18 and 19, a clamp band can be pulled through for additional fixation, which is set on the holding tube 7. This additional fixation is particularly important if the holding part 8 is groundbreaking arranged in the mounted state of the roof ridge on the roof surface, which means in other words that in this case the holding part 8 is arranged facing away from the roof ridge looking down. With this arrangement, a snow load acting on the snow guards 2 and 3 would tend to deflect the retaining member 8 away from the retaining tube 7, which may be compensated for by the provision of band clamps passed through the band shackles 18 and 19.

In the reverse mounting case, the provision of such clamp bands is not absolutely necessary, since then the snow load would tend to press the holding part on the holding tube 7, so that the holding part 8 can be supported on the holding tube 7 and thus the provision of clamp strap tabs is unnecessary.

The base plate 6 may be formed according to the invention in different strengths. In this case, it is possible to provide either a thicker plate (preferably 8 mm plate thickness) or a thinner plate (preferably 3 mm plate thickness), which are then used to increase the stability with a suitable profiling, such as in the form of longitudinal and / or transverse ribs or similar reinforcing struts, can be provided.

In addition to the above written disclosure of the invention, reference is hereby explicitly made to the drawings in FIGS. 1 and 2 of the drawing reference and referenced.
