Claims (9)

  1. Device for fixing wire mesh fencing panels (2, 2') formed of longitudinal bars and transverse bars to fence posts (3), comprising a substantially U-shaped connecting element (1, 1') with hook-shaped legs (7, 8) and comprising a clamping element (11), characterised by at least one fixing clip (1, 1') serving as the connecting element, as well as a fixing bolt (11) having a head (13) and a long end thread serving as the clamping element, and a fixing nut (12), and in that the fixing clip (1, 1') has a horseshoe-shaped open web part (6) surrounding the fixing bolt (11) and two angled legs (7) each with an end hook (8) bent over in the direction of the web part (6) and forming a mouth (9) open substantially laterally towards the web part (6) for receiving the edge longitudinal bar (4') of the wire mesh fencing panel (2, 2').
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the angle between the web part (6) and the leg (7) is less than 90°.
  3. Device according to either of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the fixing clip (1, 1') is formed in one piece and is bent from round steel wire.
  4. Device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the fixing clip (1, 1') has an anti-corrosive coating.
  5. Device according to claim 4, characterised in that the anti-corrosive coating consists of a zinc coating and/or a plastic coating.
  6. Device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the fixing bolt (11) has a solid, preferably hexagonal head (13).
  7. Device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the head of the fixing bolt (11) is in the form of an eyelet.
  8. Device according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that a spacer (14, 14') is arranged between the fence post (3) and the web part (6) of the fixing clip (1, 1').
  9. Device according to claim 8, characterised in that the spacer (14, 14') consists of flexible material, preferably plastic.
