Abstract

The machine (1) has support rollers (2, 3) lying on a winding reel (5) and supported in winding bearings (6, 7). The bearings are connected with a machine frame (10) over a damping unit, and comprise a piston (17), which is arranged in a cylinder (16). The piston divides the cylinder into two pressure chambers (18, 19), which are filled with electrorheological fluid (F). The piston is in connection with the bearings, and the cylinder is in connection with the frame. The pressure chambers are connected over a connecting piece, which contains the electrorheological unit.
