Abstract

An assembly comprising a container and a lid, wherein said container is provided with an integral clip (B) which in a closed configuration engages said lid in a cavity (A) provided in said lid, wherein the clip (B) in a non-closed configuration is part of a rim of said container and is formed by a cut line (D) in said rim.

Description

  • This invention is referred to a plastic utensil of one or multiple usage which consists of a cup and a lid that become secure with the use of clips that enter the corresponding cavities in the lid up today, there are only used negative forms in the way that the plastic utensils close.
  • A negative form in the cup or the lid is mentioned as the cavity or projection opposite to the form of the side on which it is manufactured. This has as a result the insecure closing of the utensils and sometimes leaking of the content in case of carrying them. This kind of closing, which is secure by itself of one or multiple usage, is of multi angle shape and consists of a cup and a lid.
  • The design 1.1 shows the lid of this multi angle utensil. The design 1.2 shows the corresponding cup. The design 1.3 shows the lid and the cup in their application. The design 1.4 shows the lid of the utensil closed on the cup. The design 2.1 shows the lid and the cup open in a rectangle form of the utensil. The design 2.2 shows the lid and the cup closed. The design 2.3 shows the details in the lid. The design 2.4 shows the details in the cup. The designs 1.1-1.2-1.3-1.4-2.1-2.2-2.3-2.4. we have the following parts : Part A, which has a cavity in the lid 1.1-1.4-2.3. Part B is the moving clips in the cup, design 1.2-1.4-2.1-2.2-2.4. Part C is the point where the clip of Part B meets the Part A which is on the lid, design 1.2 -1.3 -1.4-. Part D which is a cutting in the cup, design 1.2-1.3-1.4-2.2-2.4. Part E which consists of the negative forms of the cup and the lid.
  • It is characterized by the moving clips B, that more and are from the same -material- stuff which bend and are applied at the corresponding
Part A of the lid 1.1-1.2-1.3-1.4-2.1-2.2-2.3.The Part A can be a cavity or projection-standing out-. The Part A can be one or more. The Part A can be of different shapes, forms and dimensions. The clips B can be of any shape as that of a trapezium, half circle, square and polygonal e.t.c. The clips B are part of the cup, from the same stuff (material) with the cup itself. The clips B can be one or more with the same of different size. The clips B can be on the lid and close correspondingly on the cup having the parts A and E on the cup. The cup and the lid could have negative E-not depended on - unconnected to the number or the design of the negative.
  • The bending C can be of any design as well as it can be omitted without changing the closing-following of Parts B. The sizes of the cup and the lid can be of many dimensions, designs and sizes. Finally the lid could be single -unique- as one utensil from the same stuff-material-, folding-bending- the lid on to the cup and closing it on the Parts B and A. This invention has made- assured- a new way of closing the utensils. This new way of closing is very secure because the utensil doesn't open when you carry it , it can be used again either if it is of one or multiple usage.
  • It ha s got a great advantage in the industrial production, where its construction can be simpler than the up today lids that close with only negative.
  • It can be designed to be a cup with a lid of all shapes and dimensions, as round, polygonal and square.
  • It is generally suffered on utensils which we can want to close correctly and securely when we carry them without being their contents leaking.
  • THE ADVANTAGES OF THIS INVENTION.
    1. 1) Construction of a cup from different thickness of stuff from that of the lid.
    2. 2) The cup and the lid do not need shucking.
    3. 3) It can be constructed with negative or without negative.
    4. 4) The construction of the mould (without negative) is easier.
    5. 5) The speed production is greater without negative , reducing at the same time the cost.
    6. 6) The lid can :
      1. a. be printed
      2. b. A label can be put on it.
      3. c. A carton can put with 4 clips at the point of closing.
    7. 7) If it is manufactured by PP it can be used in a microwave oven.
    8. 8) The closing can be applied to all the designs and to all sizes-dimensions.
