Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Herd (10), insbesondere zum Heizen mit Gas oder Holz wenigstens umfassend einen Verbrennungsraum (11), einen Verbrennungsluftzufuhrkanal (14A) zur externen Zufuhr von Verbrennungsluft in den Verbrennungsraum (11), einen an den Verbrennungsraum anschliessenden Abgasabfuhrkanal (13) zur Abfuhr von Verbrennungsrauchgasen aus dem Verbrennungsraum, sowie einen mit dem Verbrennungsraum und/oder dem Abgasabfuhrkanal in wärmetauschendem Kontakt stehenden Umgebungsluftzufuhrkanal (15,15A,15B), um der Umgebung Umgebungsluft mit niedriger Temperatur zu entziehen und an die Umgebung Umgebungsluft mit höherer Temperatur abzugeben, wobei der Verbrennungsraum (11) an einer ersten, vorderen offenen Seite gegen die Umgebung abschliessbar ist mittels einer Platte (12).
Erfindungsgemäss wird der Herd dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in dem Verbrennungsluftzufuhrkanal ein Abschlusselement (20) angeordnet ist, welches Abschlusselement einstellbar ist zwischen einer ersten Stellung, in der der Verbrennungsluftzufuhrkanal (14A) mit dem Verbrennungsraum (11) in Verbindung steht und einer zweiten Stellung, in der der Verbrennungsluftzufuhrkanal nicht mit dem Verbrennungsraum in Verbindung steht.
Indem ein Abschlusselement in dem Verbrennungsluftzufuhrkanal angewandt wird, kann dadurch eine gefährliche Betriebssituation vermieden werden, bei der Abgase als Folge einer Unterdrucksituation bei geöffnetem Verbrennungsraum in den Aufstellraum geblasen werden.
