Description

  • La présente a essentiellement pour objet un applicateur à mascara.
  • On sait que les applicateurs à mascara comprennent, d'une manière générale, une tige prolongée à une extrémité par une partie applicatrice munie de poils sur sa longueur, formant brosse, et comprenant vers l'autre extrémité une partie formant manche. Un tel applicateur est connu du document EP 1 247 472 .
  • Toutefois, les différents applicateurs proposés, notamment en ce qui concerne la répartition et l'orientation des poils de la brosse, permettent difficilement un maquillage satisfaisant des cils, notamment lorsque l'on souhaite bien séparer et déployer les cils dès la base pour créer un effet « volumateur » très apparent et, d'autre part, lorsque l'on souhaite appliquer une quantité importante de mascara sur toute la longueur des cils tout en évitant la formation de « paquets » de produit, et ce, quelque soit la taille des cils de l'utilisatrice.
  • Aussi, la présente invention a pour but de remédier notamment à ces inconvénients en proposant un applicateur comprenant une brosse permettant un chargement important des cils en mascara sur toute leur longueur, c'est-à-dire depuis leur base au niveau du bord des paupières jusqu'à leur extrémité, sans formation d'agglomérats, ou « paquets », disgracieux de produit, tout en séparant les cils, afin d'augmenter l'effet « volumateur », c'est-à-dire l'impression de cils plus fournis.
  • A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un applicateur à mascara comprenant une tige ou analogue comportant d'une part une première extrémité supportant une partie applicatrice formant brosse et d'autre part une partie formant manche située vers la seconde extrémité de ladite tige, à l'opposé de ladite première extrémité, ladite tige présentant au moins au voisinage de la partie applicatrice un axe principal, ladite brosse étant pourvue d'une pluralité de poils répartis symétriquement autour dudit axe principal, caractérisée en ce que les poils de ladite brosse sont tous de la même longueur et sont orientés de façon divergente sensiblement à partir d'un point central situé sensiblement à ladite première extrémité de la tige, dans toutes les directions de l'espace à l'intérieur d'un cône ayant pour sommet ledit point central et dont la mesure de l'angle au sommet est supérieure ou égale à environ 230°, de préférence supérieure ou égale à 300°.
  • Selon un mode préféré de réalisation de l'invention, la longueur des poils de ladite brosse se situe entre 1 et 4,5 millimètres environ, de préférence entre 2 et 3 millimètres environ.
  • Selon un autre mode de réalisation préféré, les poils sont sensiblement tous de la même longueur de sorte que la brosse, au niveau de l'extrémité des poils présente la forme d'une calotte sensiblement sphérique dont la surface de la partie sphérique représente au moins 70% environ, et de préférence au moins 93% environ de la surface totale de la sphère de même diamètre.
  • Avantageusement, le diamètre de la sphère correspondant à ladite calotte sensiblement sphérique de la brosse à mascara selon l'invention mesure environ de 3 à 10 millimètres, de préférence de 4,5 à 8 millimètres environ.
  • Suivant un autre mode de réalisation de l'invention, ladite tige est fixée à l'intérieur d'un bouchon par sa partie formant manche, ledit bouchon étant destiné à obturer, par vissage, clippage ou autrement, un récipient, ou flaconnette, contenant le mascara.
  • Mais d'autres caractéristiques et avantages de l'invention apparaîtront mieux dans la description détaillée qui suit et se réfère aux dessins annexés, donnés uniquement à titre d'exemple, et dans lesquels :
    • la figure 1 est une vue schématique en coupe partielle d'un applicateur à mascara conforme à la présente invention ; et
    • la figure 2 est une vue similaire à la figure 1 mais représentant une variante d'un tel applicateur.
    • la figure 3 est une vue schématique en élévation d'un applicateur à mascara selon l'invention partiellement introduite dans un récipient contenant le mascara.
  • On voit sur les figures un applicateur permettant l'application d'un mascara sur les cils de l'oeil, et comprenant une tige 1 ou analogue comportant d'une part une première extrémité 2 supportant une partie applicatrice formant brosse 3 et d'autre part une partie 4 formant manche située vers la seconde extrémité de ladite tige, à l'opposé de ladite première extrémité 2.
  • Dans les exemples représentés sur les figures, la tige 1 est rectiligne. Mais, sans sortir du cadre de l'invention, elle pourrait comporter une partie incurvée, en particulier au niveau de la partie 4 formant manche.
  • Comme on le voit sur les figures, la brosse 3 est pourvue d'une pluralité de poils 5. Ces poils sont orientés de façon divergente à partir d'un point central 6 situé sensiblement à l'extrémité 2 de la tige, dans toutes les directions de l'espace à l'intérieur d'un cône ayant pour sommet ledit point central 6 et dont la mesure de l'angle au sommet A est supérieure à environ 230°. On comprend donc que l'angle au sommet A du cône est un angle rentrant. Dans le mode de réalisation représenté sur la figure 1, l'angle A mesure un peu plus de 260°. Dans celui représenté sur la figure 2, cet angle est proche de 340°.
  • En outre, les poils 5 des brosses représentées sur les figures annexées possèdent tous une longueur sensiblement identique, de sorte qu'au niveau de leur extrémité, la brosse 3 présente la forme d'une calotte sensiblement sphérique. Sur l'exemple de la figure 1, la surface de la partie sphérique de ladite calotte représente un peu plus de 80% de la surface totale de la sphère correspondante. Dans celui représenté sur la figure 2, la forme de la brosse 3 est une sphère pratiquement complète.
  • On notera que la fixation des poils de la brosse est réalisée selon des techniques bien connues. Par exemple, ils peuvent être fixés à l'intérieur d'une ou de plusieurs boucles de fil métallique, non représentées sur les figures.
  • La nature des fibres formant les poils 5 est naturelle ou synthétique et correspond à celle généralement utilisée dans les différents types de brosse à mascara. Cependant, pour réaliser la présente invention, on utilisera de préférence des poils présentant une bonne rigidité.
  • Le diamètre de la surface sphérique de la brosse doit être suffisamment important pour permettre un chargement correct en produit à appliquer sur les cils, toutefois, la longueur des poils 5 doit rester en rapport avec la longueur moyenne des cils pour une population donnée et doit permettre un maquillage suffisamment précis. De préférence, ce diamètre doit se situer environ entre 3 et 10 millimètres, et de préférence encore entre 4,5 et 8 millimètres environ. La longueur des poils quant à elle se situe avantageusement entre 1 et 4,5 millimètres environ, et de préférence entre 2 et 3 millimètres environ.
  • La brosse à mascara selon l'invention permet d'appliquer tout type de formule de mascara, à consistance liquide, pâteuse ou même solide. Si il s'agit d'un mascara solide, souvent appelé « mascara tablette », un apport de liquide généralement aqueux est nécessaire pour prélever au moyen de la brosse la quantité de produit nécessaire à l'application sur les cils.
  • Pour l'utilisation de mascaras liquides ou pâteux, la brosse applicatrice est généralement fixée à l'intérieur du bouchon destiné à obturer, de préférence par vissage, le récipient contenant le mascara, de sorte que lorsque le récipient est fermé, la brosse se situe à l'intérieur du produit. C'est le cas représenté sur les figures annexées.
  • Sur la figure 3 on peut voir l'applicateur à mascara selon l'invention partiellement introduit dans un récipient 8, représenté schématiquement en traits discontinus, contenant un mascara liquide 9 et comprenant une ouverture 10. A l'intérieur du récipient 8, au voisinage de l'ouverture 10 est monté un essoreur, non représenté sur la figure 3, pour permettre d'enlever l'excédent de mascara avant application sur les cils. La tige 1 de l'applicateur est fixée par sa partie 4 formant manche au fond 11 du bouchon 7 destiné à obturer le récipient 8 au niveau de son ouverture 12. Dans la position représentée sur cette figure, la brosse 3, de forme sphérique, se situe dans le mascara liquide 9.
  • Ainsi, grâce à ses caractéristiques de structure décrites ci-dessus, l'applicateur à mascara présente de nombreux avantages par rapport aux applicateurs déjà connus.
  • Notamment, la disposition particulière de poils de la partie applicatrice formant brosse, facilite la séparation des cils les uns des autres dès leur base, pratiquement au niveau du bord de la paupière, et favorise ainsi leur déploiement. Les cils peuvent donc être gainés de mascara sur toute leur longueur. Les cils ne sont pratiquement pas amalgamés entre eux. La brosse selon l'invention produit sur les cils ainsi séparés et gainés un effet « volumateur ». Les cils apparaissent plus fournis, plus denses, plus nombreux.
  • Un autre avantage de l'applicateur selon l'invention est une répartition plus homogène du mascara sur les poils de la brosse, et, par conséquent également sur les cils. La formation de « paquets » inesthétiques de produit est donc pratiquement évitée.
  • On notera que pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats de maquillage des cils, la brosse selon l'invention doit comporter des poils ni trop serrés, notamment pour bien séparer les cils, ni trop espacés pour réaliser un gainage optimum des cils.
  • Comme cela a été indiqué plus haut, l'applicateur selon l'invention peut être utilisée avec tout type de mascara. Toutefois la brosse selon l'invention produit des effets optimums avec des mascaras de formule fluide, qui sèchent assez lentement à l'application. Ceci permet le cas échéant de passer le mascara plusieurs fois sur les cils sans pour autant risquer de former des agrégats de produit.
  • C'est dire que l'invention comprend tous les équivalents techniques des moyens décrits ainsi que leurs combinaisons si celles-ci entrent dans le cadre des revendications qui suivent.

Claims (5)

  1. Applicateur à mascara comprenant une tige (1) ou analogue comportant d'une part une première extrémité (2) supportant une partie applicatrice (3) formant brosse et d'autre part une partie (4) formant manche située vers la seconde extrémité de ladite tige, à l'opposé de ladite première extrémité (2), ladite tige (1) présentant au moins au voisinage de la partie applicatrice (3) un axe principal (X' X), ladite brosse (3) étant pourvue d'une pluralité de poils (5) répartis symétriquement autour dudit axe principal (X' X), caractérisé en ce que les poils (5) de ladite brosse (3) sont tous de la même longueur et sont orientés de façon divergente sensiblement à partir d'un point central (6) situé sensiblement à ladite première extrémité (2) de la tige (1), dans toutes les directions de l'espace à l'intérieur d'un cône ayant pour sommet ledit point central (6) et dont la mesure de l'angle au sommet (A) est supérieure ou égale à environ 230°, de préférence supérieure ou égale à 300°.
  2. Applicateur selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la longueur des poils (5) de la partie applicatrice (3) se situe entre 1 et 4,5 millimètres environ, de préférence entre 2 et 3 millimètres environ
  3. Applicateur selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisée en ce que les poils (5) sont sensiblement tous de la même longueur de sorte que la brosse (3) au niveau de l'extrémité des poils (5) présente la forme d'une calotte sensiblement sphérique dont la surface de la partie sphérique représente au moins 70% environ, et de préférence au moins 93% environ de la surface totale de la sphère de même diamètre.
  4. Applicateur selon la revendication 3, caractérisée en ce que le diamètre de la sphère correspondant à ladite calotte sensiblement sphérique mesure environ de 3 à 10 millimètres, de préférence de 4,5 à 8 millimètres environ.
  5. Applicateur selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que la tige (1) est fixée à l'intérieur d'un bouchon (7) par sa partie formant manche (4), ledit bouchon (7) étant destiné à obturer, par vissage, clippage ou autrement un récipient contenant le mascara.
