Abstract

A printed security feature comprises at least two printed workings (1,2), each working having a different, gradual variation in tone and/or saturation. A raised image is overprinted on the printed workings (1,2) in a substantially opaque ink that has a lightness value that is higher than the highest lightness value of the colours of the underlying printed workings.
