Definitions
- the present invention relates to a hand-held setting tool with muzzle part referred to in the preamble of claim 1.
- Art Such setting devices with muzzle part can, for. B. with solid, gaseous or liquid fuels or with compressed or compressed air or electrically operated.
- a setting piston is driven by the high-pressure combustion gases. About this setting piston fasteners can then be driven into a background.
- a setting tool for driving fasteners with a slidably guided in a mouth part of the setting device fastener guide and known with a projecting laterally from the mouth part Magazine for fasteners.
- a receiving space for a fastener to be set is arranged, which is open to a guide channel for fastening elements of the magazine.
- the receiving space has guide surfaces over which a fastening element located in the receiving space is guided and aligned.
- a detection element for fastening elements is further arranged, via which the presence of a fastening element in the receiving space of the mouth part can be detected.
- the guide surfaces are formed on the one hand in the fastener guide and the other on the detection element.
- the detection element engages in this by an axially extending slot in the fastener guide and has an axially elongated and transversely thereto narrow guide surface. If no fastening element is present in the receiving space, then the detection element is moved into a securing position, in which a displacement of the fastener guide in the mouth part is prevented. A setting process is not possible in this backup position.
- the disadvantage here is that it may happen due to the arrangement of a portion of the guide surfaces on the axially displaceable fastener guide that fasteners in the receiving space in the displacement of the Fastening guide not optimally positioned, especially if only a few fasteners in the guide channel of the magazine are against.
- the object of the present invention is to develop a setting device with mouth part of the aforementioned type, which avoids the aforementioned disadvantages and ensure optimal positioning and guiding the fasteners in the receiving space.
- the stated object is achieved by a setting tool having the features of the independent claim. Accordingly, on the side facing the receiving space side of the detection element parallel to the longitudinal direction of the mouth part extending, concave second and third guide surfaces are arranged opposite each other in the longitudinal direction adjacent to the first guide surface or each connect laterally to the first guide surface.
- the detection element on its side facing the receiving space on a detection section, which is designed as a half-shell-shaped pipe segment on which the guide surfaces are arranged.
- first, second and third guide surfaces together enclose the receiving space in the radial direction by 120 ° - 180 °, so that the provision of further guide surfaces on the base body of the mouth part or on the fastener guide is not necessary.
- the first, second and third guide surfaces together enclose the receiving space in the radial direction at least by 140 ° - 160 °.
- the detection element is mounted on a bearing parallel to the longitudinal direction of the mouth part pivotable on the main body of the mouth part, whereby an optimal function of the element detection is ensured because the friction is reduced in comparison to a displaceable element. Further space is saved by the pivoting in the longitudinal direction of the mouth part, since the detection element would otherwise be arranged completely above or opposite the magazine.
- FIGS. 1 to 4 a combustion-powered, hand-held setting tool 10 is shown.
- the setting tool 10 has a arranged in a one-piece or multi-part housing 11, not shown in the figures setting network with a displaceably guided in a guide cylinder 14 setting piston for driving fasteners 51 in a construction element K.
- a release switch 13 is arranged on a handle 12 of the setting device 10 on the setting device 10.
- the housing 11 is preceded by a mouth part, generally designated 20, which adjoins the guide cylinder 14 on one side (cf., in particular, FIGS. 1 and 2).
- a fastener guide 15 is guided relative to a base body 21 of the mouth part 20 so as to be relatively displaceable.
- the fastener guide 15 is based on a not visible in the figures spring element on the base body 21 or another housing-fixed component, via which the fastener guide 15 is acted upon elastically in the direction of its non-pressed position shown in Figure 1.
- the fastener guide 15 is displaced in the direction of the guide cylinder 14 and stretched the spring element.
- a fixedly connected to the fastener guide 15 pressing member 16 is thereby moved with the fastener guide 15, whereby the setting tool 10 is transferred to a setting ready state in which a setting operation can be triggered by the trigger switch 13.
- actuators z. B a valve means for the combustion chamber can be actuated.
- a receiving space 23 is arranged, which lies in the longitudinal direction L of the fastener guide 15. Only a properly positioned in the receiving space 23 fastener 51 can be detected by the setting piston and driven into a structural element K.
- the fastening elements 51 are fed to the receiving space 23 via a magazine 40, which is preferably detachably arranged on the mouth part 20.
- the magazine is fixed via a connecting portion 42 on the main body 21 of the mouth part 20.
- a guide space 43 is formed in which the fastening elements 51 are guided.
- the fasteners 51 are z. B. to a fastener strip 50 summarized, which is insertable into the guide space 43 and in which a plurality of fastening elements 51 on a support element, consisting of a plurality of support segments 52, are arranged.
- a transport element 41 is arranged in the magazine 40 (see FIGS. 1, 2 and 4) which, in its working position, is acted upon by a spring element (not illustrated here) for the receiving space 23 in order to ensure a fastener transport into the receiving space 23.
- a detection element 31 for detecting a fastening element 51 is further arranged in the receiving space 23.
- This detection element 31 ensures that a setting process can only be triggered when a fastener 51 is in the receiving space 23 and the setting device 10 is pressed against a structural element K.
- the detection element 31 is arranged on the magazine 40 opposite side of the receiving space 23, wherein the detection element 31, the receiving space 23 at least partially bounded.
- the Detection element 31 is designed as a lever, which is mounted on a bearing 38 parallel to the longitudinal direction L pivotable on the main body 21 of the mouth part 21 (see in particular Figs. 3 and 4).
- a first arm of the detection element 31 is designed as a detection section 33 for fastening elements 51, while a second arm forms a projection 32 with a counter-stop 37 for a arranged on the Anpresslement 16 stop 17.
- the detection section 33 is formed on its, the receiving space 23 facing side as a half-shell-shaped pipe segment that two parallel to the longitudinal direction L extending concave guide surfaces 35, 36 which are laterally adjacent to a groove-shaped, parallel to the longitudinal direction L extending first guide surface 34 ,
- the inner contour of the detection section with its first guide surface 34 and its two concave second and third guide surfaces 35, 36 is optimally adapted to the outer contour of the carrier segments 52 of the fastener element strip 50 to ensure good guidance and positioning thereof.
- the first, second and third guide surface 34, 35, 36 together surround the receiving space 23 in the radial direction by about 120 ° - 180 °, preferably by about 140 ° to - 160 °.
- the detection element 31 is acted upon in the direction of its blocking position, in which the detection element 31 narrows the guide space 18 in the base body 21, if no fastening element 51 is present there.
- the detection element 31 locks in this position (see FIG. 4) a relative movement between the fastener guide 15 and the main body 21, in which the stop 17 of the pressing 16 in this position the counter-stop 37 on the detection element 31 and in a Anpress bath with this in Appendix comes. A pressing and a subsequent setting process are thus prevented in this blocking position of the detection element 31.
- the setting tool 10 is not yet pressed with its mouth part 20 to a structural element.
- the detection element 31 is pressed via the fastening elements 51 in its release position (see also Fig. 3), since the on the transport element 41 acting in the direction of the receiving space 23 spring force is greater than the force of the spring element, which the detection element 31st applied.
- this release position of the detection element 31 a pressing of the setting device 10 to a construction element K and a subsequent setting process is possible, as shown in FIG. 2 can be seen.
- the fastener guide 15 is displaced in the direction of the housing 11 and relative to the main body 21. Due to the positive guidance and chambering of the fastening element 51 located in the receiving space 51 via its carrier segment 52 on the guide surfaces 34, 35, 36 of the detection section 33 of the detection element 31, tilting or tilting of this fastening element 51 during the pressing process is reliably prevented. Thus, the setting tool 10 is ready for triggering a setting process.
Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a hand-held setting tool with muzzle part referred to in the preamble of claim 1. Art Such setting devices with muzzle part can, for. B. with solid, gaseous or liquid fuels or with compressed or compressed air or electrically operated. In the case of the combustion-powered setting tools, a setting piston is driven by the high-pressure combustion gases. About this setting piston fasteners can then be driven into a background.
The disadvantage here, however, is that it may happen due to the arrangement of a portion of the guide surfaces on the axially displaceable fastener guide that fasteners in the receiving space in the displacement of the Fastening guide not optimally positioned, especially if only a few fasteners in the guide channel of the magazine are against.
The object of the present invention is to develop a setting device with mouth part of the aforementioned type, which avoids the aforementioned disadvantages and ensure optimal positioning and guiding the fasteners in the receiving space.
According to the invention, the stated object is achieved by a setting tool having the features of the independent claim. Accordingly, on the side facing the receiving space side of the detection element parallel to the longitudinal direction of the mouth part extending, concave second and third guide surfaces are arranged opposite each other in the longitudinal direction adjacent to the first guide surface or each connect laterally to the first guide surface. By this design of the guide surfaces for guiding and positioning the fasteners or the receiving carrier segments of the fastener strip on the detection element, which is static relative to the sliding fastener guide, a sufficient frictional engagement with the support segment of the fasteners is achieved and so tilting or tilting of a in the Receiving space located fastener reliably prevents the Anpressvorgang, especially when there are only a few fasteners in the magazine.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the detection element on its side facing the receiving space on a detection section, which is designed as a half-shell-shaped pipe segment on which the guide surfaces are arranged. As a result, enough area for the guide surfaces can be provided in a simple manner, without greatly increasing the necessary space.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the first, second and third guide surfaces together enclose the receiving space in the radial direction by 120 ° - 180 °, so that the provision of further guide surfaces on the base body of the mouth part or on the fastener guide is not necessary. Preferably, the first, second and third guide surfaces together enclose the receiving space in the radial direction at least by 140 ° - 160 °. As a result, on the one hand optimal guidance of the carrier segment is achieved and on the other hand a trouble-free pivoting behavior of the detection element is achieved.
Conveniently, the detection element is mounted on a bearing parallel to the longitudinal direction of the mouth part pivotable on the main body of the mouth part, whereby an optimal function of the element detection is ensured because the friction is reduced in comparison to a displaceable element. Further space is saved by the pivoting in the longitudinal direction of the mouth part, since the detection element would otherwise be arranged completely above or opposite the magazine.
Further advantages and measures of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims, the following description and the drawings. In FIGS. 1 to 4, a combustion-powered, hand-held
On the
In the
Via a spring element not visible in the figures, the
In Fig. 1, the
