Claims (8)

  1. Motor vehicle having an exhaust system with two exhaust pipes (3, 4), with an exhaust tailpipe cover which can be placed on the exhaust pipes (3, 4) and which is arranged in a cutout of a vehicle rear-end part, with the exhaust tailpipe cover (7) being connected by means of a retaining device (10) to one or two exhaust pipes (3, 4) of the exhaust system (1), characterized in that two individual exhaust inner pipes (5, 6) are arranged between the exhaust tailpipe cover (7) and the exhaust pipes (3, 4), which exhaust inner pipes (5, 6) are each plugged onto and held on the two exhaust pipes (3, 4) and are fixedly connected to the exhaust tailpipe cover (7) in such a way that a continuous duct (K) is formed in an encircling fashion between the two exhaust inner pipes (5, 6) and the exhaust tailpipe cover (7) which accommodates said exhaust inner pipes (5, 6).
  2. Motor vehicle according to Claim 1, characterized in that the retaining device (10) is fastened between the two exhaust pipes (3, 4) and a projecting retaining tongue (11) of the retaining device (10) is arranged in a vertical central plane of the two exhaust pipes (3, 4), which retaining tongue (11) can be pushed into a receptacle (12) of the exhaust tailpipe cover (7) and is held by means of at least one fastening means which is designed as a threaded screw (14).
  3. Motor vehicle according to Claims 1 or 2,
    characterized in that a threaded nut (13) is fastened to the projecting retaining tongue (11) and the threaded screw (14) can be guided through to the threaded nut (13), and connected to the latter, in a bore (15) of the exhaust tailpipe cover (7).
  4. Motor vehicle according to Claims 1, 2 or 3,
    characterized in that the two exhaust inner pipes (5, 6) have, on their outer circumferential surfaces, a plurality of outwardly preloaded resilient clamping elements (19) which, in the plugged-in state in the exhaust tailpipe cover (7), are supported so as to be held on an inner wall, and a fixed connection to the exhaust tailpipe cover (7) is provided by screw means (17, 18).
  5. Motor vehicle according to Claims 1 or 4,
    characterized in that projecting support limbs (16, 16a) which are directed towards one another are fastened to the outer circumferential surfaces of the two exhaust inner pipes (5, 6), which support limbs (16, 16a), in the inserted state in the exhaust tailpipe cover (7), are supported on stops arranged adjacent to the dovetail-shaped receptacle (12) and are fixed by the screw means (17, 18).
  6. Motor vehicle according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the two exhaust inner pipes (5, 6) can be sealingly plugged onto the two exhaust pipes (3, 4) by means of a flared pipe portion (20), and those free ends of the two exhaust inner pipes (5, 6) which face away from the flared pipe portion (20) have an encircling air gap (8) with respect to the inner circumferential surface of the exhaust tailpipe cover (7) at least at the opening-out region of the exhaust gases.
  7. Motor vehicle according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the exhaust inner pipes (5, 6) are in each case of flared, trumpet-like design in the opening-out region, and the air gap (8) is formed between the opening-out regions of the exhaust tailpipe cover (7) and the opening-out regions of the exhaust inner pipes (5, 6), and in that the exhaust inner pipes (5, 6) are arranged in the exhaust tailpipe cover (7) in each case with a spacing with respect to the inner wall, and the continuous duct (K) is generated as an insulating air gap.
  8. Motor vehicle according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the exhaust tailpipe cover (7) is composed of a single-piece cast part and the exhaust inner pipes (5, 6) are composed of a high-grade steel and are of thin-walled design.
