Description

    OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
  • As stated in the title of this specification, the present invention relates to a pre-frame for roller doors, the essential purpose of which is to provide a pre-frame or chassis in which are mounted the elements making up the roller door and the catches which are fastened to the wall, thus avoiding having to fasten the guides for the blind or door directly to the wall in order to improve the security and ease of mounting, and also improving the parallelism of the corresponding guides, such that the blind will have less friction and, if its opening and closing are actuated with a motor, the wear on that motor will be less. To achieve this, the invention proposes a metallic chassis on which are mounted the elements comprising the roller door or blind and the catches which fasten to the corresponding wall.
  • PRIOR ART OF THE INVENTION
  • Guides for roller blinds and doors are currently fastened directly to the corresponding wall, requiring masonry work and also a notable length of time for the installation, since the wall must first be made ready and then the guides have to be secured, waiting for the appropriate setting in order to finally position the roller blind or door, an operation that can take a day's work or more. Moreover, it is fairly complicated to position this guides so that they are perfectly parallel to each other, with which the blind or door suffers greater friction and is less smooth in its functioning, causing greater wear on the corresponding motor when the actuation is automated.
  • We are not aware of any frame or chassis in the current state of the art that will permit the mounting of the corresponding roller door or blind following its positioning on the appropriate wall.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • In order to achieve the objectives and avoid the drawbacks stated above, the invention consists of a pre-frame for roller doors applicable to roller blinds and doors.
  • As a novelty according to the invention, the said pre-frame consists of a chassis composed of two vertical straight profiles and a horizontal straight profile joined at the top to the said straight profiles; with elements being connected to the vertical profiles such as the guides for the roller door, the grips for that door, catches for fastening and/or others required for mounting the door.
  • In the preferred embodiment of the Invention, the said elements that are connected in the vertical profiles are joined to said profiles by means of screws and/or welding.
  • Moreover, in the preferred embodiment of the invention, the vertical profiles are mounted with the horizontal profile preferably in proximity to the place of location of the door and in the horizontal plane with the aim of facilitating the mounting and transportation of the component pieces of the pre-frame.
  • With the structure that has been described, the invention presents the advantages that the work time for positioning and mounting the door or blind is greatly reduced, furthermore improving the security, facilitating repairs and preventing friction due to the high degree of parallelism achieved between the guides of the door or blind. By reducing the time for labour and mounting, especially in repairs and maintenance, and given that the catches for the fastening are joined to the pre-frame, a considerable economic improvement is obtained, and a change of blind can be carried out much quicker and without the need for highly qualified personnel. Moreover, the invention provides notable improvements in human safety since, at the moment of the installation, the operators are less exposed to the risk of blows and cuts, with the security of the door itself also being improved by preventing it from coming off its axes due to the catches coming away.
  • Below, In order to facilitate a better understanding of this specification and forming an integral part thereof, some figures are included in which, on an illustrative rather than limiting basis, the object of the invention has been represented.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DESIGNS
  • Figure 1 .- Represents a front view of a pre-frame for roller doors embodied according to the present invention.
  • Figure 2 .- Represents a view in lateral perspective of the pre-frame referred to in the previous figure 1.
  • DESCRIPTION OF AN EXAMPLE OF EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
  • A description is given forthwith of an example of the invention making reference to the numbering adopted in the figures.
  • So, the pre-frame for roller doors of this example of the invention is applied to a roller door or blind 4 as can be seen both In figure 1 and in figure 2.
  • The pre-frame itself consists of a chassis 1 which is made up of two vertical straight profiles 2 and a horizontal straight profile 3, as can be seen in figure 1.
  • The horizontal profile 3 is joined at the top to the vertical profiles 2, in such a way that facilitates a high degree of parallelism between the said vertical profiles 2.
  • The union of the horizontal profile 3 with the vertical profiles 2 can be made at the place of work and in a horizontal plane in order to facilitate the mounting and transportation of the said profiles 2 and 3.
  • Connected to the vertical profiles 2 by means of screws and/or welding are the guides 5 for the roller door 4, in such a way that, by granting a high degree of parallelism between the vertical doors 2, a high degree of parallelism is also granted between the guides 5 and therefore a very smooth functioning of the corresponding roller door or blind 4. Moreover, also fixed to the vertical profiles 2 by means of screws and/or welding are the grips 6 for the door 4, as can be seen in figure 2, the catches for fastening to the wall and other elements required for mounting the door, in such a way that the entire unit can be completely mounted and ready for positioning in the corresponding wall.
