Claims (5)

  1. Carcass press for press-moulding carcass parts to form furniture carcasses, such as tall wardrobes, upper or lower cabinets for example, having:

    at least two supports (2, 3) arranged on the base frame (1) of which at least one is horizontally movable on the base frame (1)
    at least two pairs of horizontal press jaws (6, 7) arranged in vertically movable manner on the supports (2, 3), and
    an upper press jaw (4) arranged in vertically movable manner on the supports (2, 3),
    characterised in that
    the supports (2, 3) at least in the vertical direction are each supported exclusively on the base frame (1) and are free at the opposite end (2', 3').
  2. Carcass press according to claim 1, characterised in that the supports (2, 3) are each supported on the base frame (1) via at least two guide elements, in particular guide rails (10).
  3. Carcass press according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that it further comprises a drive stand (11) for the upper press jaw (4) possessing a drive (11'), in particular a servodrive.
