Description

DISPOSITIF D' EPILATION PAR ELECTROLYSE ELECTROLYSIS REMOVAL DEVICE
Obj et de l ' invention [0001] La présente invention se situe dans le domaine des dispositifs d' épilation dits permanents ou de longue durée, et en particulier des dispositifs d' ëpilation par électrolyse .OBJECT OF THE INVENTION [0001] The present invention is in the field of so-called permanent or long-lasting hair removal devices, and in particular electrolysis depilation devices.
Etat de la techniqueState of the art
This technique consists in conveying a hardly perceptible continuous current towards the base of the hair follicle, which results in the neutralization of the dermal papilla which nourishes the hair and slows down strongly its regrowth. This type of hair removal device is therefore not only for the hair apparent but also the root for a lasting hair removal, so-called "long-lasting" or "final". The hair grows in a pocket called follicle. Depending on the area, the density of follicles varies from about 60 follicles / cm 2 for the wings to 500 follicles / cm 2 for the mustache.
The hairs grow per cycle: during the growth phase (or anagen phase), the hair is nourished by the dermal papilla before then entering a transition phase (or catagen phase) and finally in a resting phase (or phase tellogenous) during which the hair does not grow because it is separated from the dermal papilla and it falls, after, the follicle comes back into contact with the dermal papilla and a new cycle begins again. It takes about three weeks to grow from the base of the follicle to the surface of the skin and therefore to be visible. In other words, a mistletoe that starts to grow will only appear three weeks later.
Les documents DE 3 426 141 et US 5 , 534 , 003 décrivent également des inventions selon le même principe .From the moment the hair appears on the surface of the skin, the growth period continues for about thirteen weeks. For the cosmetic treatment to be effective, it is necessary that the hair is treated during this anagen phase, when the dermal papillae are still active, it is the sine qua non condition to really stop the process of hair growth. [0006] Moreover, the hairs grow cycle shifted: in the same area, some hairs are in their stage of 'growth. (anagen) and others in their rest phase (tellogenous); this is the reason why the first results are obtained only from a few weeks of application of the device of the invention to the parts of the body to be depilated. Permanent or permanent hair removal devices, by electrolysis or a related method are disclosed in particular by US-60/397, 406 which describes an electric current generator which transmits a current to a patch stuck on the skin . Documents DE 3 426 141 and US 5, 534, 003 also describe inventions according to the same principle.
[0009] Document FR-2,680,965 describes an apparatus and a method for the cosmetic treatment of the skin with a view to long-term depilation which involves inducing a high-frequency electromagnetic current through the skin using a conductive gel loaded with product treating, the electromagnetic current causing this product to penetrate the pores of the skin.
Ceci entraînait bien souvent une utilisation inadéquate de ce type d' appareil pouvant entraîner des irritations de la peau .The problem found in all known devices of the prior art lies in the fact that the user can himself choose both the intensity and. the duration, therefore the energy of application of the electrolysis current. The energy to be dispensed must be adapted to the size of the surfaces of the body to be treated and the sensitivity of these. This often resulted in improper use of this type of device that can cause skin irritation.
US 5,906,614 discloses a system for ablating cardiac tissue through energy-based catheter-based elements that transmit their energy to heart tissue and have accurate temperature probes. The system has an apparatus for temperature management at the ablation catheter which is extremely complex and unsuitable for the management and recognition of hair removal patches adhered to the skin. [0014] It was therefore necessary to address this problem by providing a device capable of administering a dose of precise and constant energy according to the surface of patches used and it therefore became necessary to develop a device capable of identifying patches of different size to allow precise and constant dosing of the energy delivered to a given surface.
Pour arriver à cette fin, l ' invention propose un système de reconnaissance des patchs permettant l ' application de doses ciblées pour chaque type d'utilisation .Aims of the invention [0015] The present invention aims to provide a device for hair removal by electrolysis comprising a central management unit equipped with a microprocessor and a set of patches (waxing and contact) able to apply the intensities current for precise periods of time in order to apply constant energy doses per identified patch. To achieve this end, the invention provides a patch recognition system for the application of targeted doses for each type of use.

Description détaillée de l ' inventionFigure 3 shows a view of the entire device with the CPU, its patches and the precision stylus. Detailed description of the invention
L' ensemble comporte également un stylet de précision 9 avec plusieurs têtes interchangeables .The electrolysis depilation device comprises a central management unit 4 equipped with a microprocessor, different patches 8 of different size adapted to the application areas (face, legs, sensitive areas) and contact patches 10 which allow to close the circuit to pass the current of electrolysis by the skin. The set also includes a precision stylus 9 with several interchangeable heads.
The central management unit 4 will therefore "recognize" the patches 8 or the stylus 9 that will be connected and the areas to be treated will be displayed on the manikin of the screen of this unit 4. The central management unit 4 allows to vary the intensity of the current according to the sensitivity of the skin. Then, the device of the invention will automatically adjust the duration of the treatment. The central unit 4 has an hourglass which displays on the screen the remaining duration of the treatment. To carry out the identification of the patches 8 or the stylus 9 used, the receptacles thereof are provided with an electrical resistance (5, 6, 7), which allows the apparatus, with the aid of of an oscillating circuit, to detect what type of patch is used (Figures 1 and 2). The circuit is composed of a resistor (5, 6, 7) located in the patch or the stylus to be recognized and a capacitor located on the central management unit. The microprocessor of this unit 4 recognizes the frequency of the oscillating circuit and adapts the energy delivered by the device according to the size and functionality given to the selected patch 8.
[0028] Le tableau suivant montre quelques exemples de résistances différentes permettant de reconnaître les patchs :The connection diagram of the patches 8 to the central unit 4 is shown in FIG. 1. In order to recognize the frequency of the oscillating circuit and to adapt the energy delivered, two electric wires 2 and 3 are connected to the patches 8 or stylet 9 (see Figure 2) to close the oscillating circuit. The wire 3 is used to close the circuit via the skin of the user and the contact patch 10. In order to deliver a constant energy to the user, the microprocessor adapts the time according to the intensity of the current chosen by the user. user; thus, regardless of the intensity changes made by the user during the treatment period, the integral of the current over the operating time interval remains constant and the apparatus therefore delivers a constant energy dose for each type of patches. The users of this type of device generally have very different sensitivities compared to the number of milliamps applied to their skin. This is why everyone sets the intensity of the current at their own level of comfort. The management unit 4 then manages the duration. The following table shows some examples of different resistors for recognizing patches:
Dans chaque mode de fonctionnement, l ' intensité de courant multipliée par le temps est une constante In each mode of operation, the intensity of current multiplied by time is a constant
Courant x temps =Current x time =
Mode Courant: (mA) Temps (s) énergie délivréeCurrent Mode: (mA) Energy Time (s) Delivered

Jambes 2 , 5 à IC ) mA 240 à 60 600Legs 2, 5 to IC) mA 240 to 60 600
The system therefore makes it possible to deliver an amount of energy that is always identical, whatever the intensity chosen by means of its control of the delivered energy; this quantity is defined according to the patch connected by means of its identification system and the regulation of the application time.
