Claims (12)

  1. Barrel (10) for a timepiece comprising cylindrical drum (12), in which is lodged a barrel spring (14), a barrel shaft (16), on which an end of the barrel spring (14) is attached, and a cover (20) closing the drum (12) at its superior axial end, wherein the cover (20) comprises a main disc-shaped body (34) and an lower peripheral axial skirt (36) driven on an outer axial wall (30) of the drum (12), for retaining the cover (20) on the drum (12), characterized in that the outer axial wall (30) of the drum (12) has a first radial surface (40) that is oriented towards the bottom, in that the inner side (42) of the axial skirt (36) has a second radial surface (44) oriented towards the top, and in that the two radial surfaces (40,44) are provided facing each other so as to axially retain the cover (20) on the drum (12) in case of a schock.
  2. Barrel (10) according to the previous claim, characterized in that the two radial surfaces (40, 44) are annular-shaped.
  3. Barrel (10) according to the any of previous claims, characterized in that second radial surface (44) is formed by a shoulder arranged within the inner side (42) of the skirt (36).
  4. Barrel (10) according to the any of previous claims, characterized in that the first radial surface (40) is formed by a shoulder arranged within the outer axial wall (30) of the drum (12).
  5. Barrel (10) according to the any of previous claims, characterized in the outer axial wall (30) of the drum (12) comprises a annular radial groove (46), which is axially delimited on top by the first radial surface (40) and at the bottom by a third annular radial surface (48) oriented towards the top.
  6. Barrel (10) according to the any of previous claims, characterized in that the axial skirt (36) comprises an inner chamfer (50) at its lower axial end, wherein said chamfer (50) cooperates with the outer edge (53) of the upper axial end of the drum (12) during the mounting of the cover (20) on the drum (12), in order to apply an outer strain to the skirt (36).
  7. Barrel (10) according to the previous claim, characterized in that the outer external edge (53) of the upper axial end of the drum (12) is chamfered, so as to facilitate the outer strain of the skirt (36) during the mounting of the cover (20) on the drum (12).
  8. Barrel (10) according to the any of previous claims, characterized in that the lower side (54) of the main body (34) comprises an annular peripheral groove (56), which is adjacent to the skirt (36), in order to facilitate the outer strain of the skirt (36) during the mounting of the cover (20) on the drum (12).
  9. Barrel (10) according to the previous claim, characterized in that the annular peripheral groove (56) is delimited on the inner side by an axial surface (58) and on the outer side by a truncated conical surface (60), whose diameter decreases towards the bottom.
  10. Barrel (10) according to the any of previous claims, characterized in that the outer edge (52) of the upper axial end of the axial skirt (36) is chamfered, in order to facilitate the outer strain of the skirt (36) during the mounting of the cover (20) on the drum (12).
  11. Barrel (10) according to the any of previous claims, characterized in that the outer axial wall (30) of the drum (12) has tapered part (38) with an increasing diameter towards the top, which has a complementary form compared to tapared part of the inner side (42) of the skirt (36), in order to allow the pressing of the skirt (36) into the drum (12).
  12. Timepiece, characterized in that it comprises a barrel (10) according to one of the preceding claims.
