Abstract

An outdoor unit for an air conditioner in which a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, and a blower are received in an outdoor unit housing. The outdoor heat exchanger is composed of rows of heat exchangers that are bent in a letter L shape, in a plan view, in the direction of the blower and are arranged in the direction of airflow. A downstream side heat exchanger on the downstream side in the airflow direction has an obtuse bending angle.
