Als Verbindungsmittel dienen im vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel Schrauben 7, die durch die Durchgangsöffnungen 6 des Verbindungselements 5 und die Verbindungslöcher 3 des Profilelements 1 geführt sind und auf Seiten des Profilelements 1 in ein Gewinde eingreifen, was in Fig. 4 nochmals im Detail dargestellt ist. Das Gewinde wird hier durch eine Einschweißmutter 8 gebildet, die im Verbindungsloch 3 des Profilelements 1 angeordnet ist. Eine Klemmschraube 7, die durch die Durchgangsöffnung 6 des Verbindungselements 5 geführt ist, greift in das Gewinde der Einschweißmutter 8 ein. Anders als dargestellt, kann auch in dem Vierkantrohr 1 eine Durchgangsbohrung vorgesehen sein, durch welche die Schraube 7 mit einer Mutter verschraubt wird. Endseitig am Geländerabschnitt 12 ist ein flächiges Verbindungselement festgelegt, das mit Durchgangsöffnungen entsprechend den Verbindungslöchern in der Seitenwandung des Profilelements versehen ist. So konnte die Eckverbindung hier einfach durch Verschrauben des flächigen Verbindungselements mit dem Profilelement hergestellt werden. Claims (9)

  1. Arrangement for connecting railing portions, comprising
    - at least one profile element (1) in the form of a tube having an angular cross section, the wall (2) of which has at least one connecting hole (3),
    wherein the profile element (1) can be fastened to a first railing portion (11),
    - at least one connecting element (5), the length and width of which correspond substantially to the length and width of the profile element (1), having at least one through-opening (6), wherein the connecting element (5) can be fastened to a second railing portion (12), and
    - connecting means (7), which act on the profile element (1) on
    the one hand and on the connecting element (5) on the other,
    characterized in that the at least one connecting hole (3) is formed in a side wall (2) of the profile element (1), whereas the remaining side walls (4) of the profile element (1) are closed, in that the connecting element (5) is formed in a planar manner, and in that the connecting means comprise screws (7) and a thread is formed in each case in the connecting holes (3) in the profile element (1).
  2. Arrangement according to Claim 1, characterized in that a square tube serves as the profile element (1).
  3. Arrangement according to either of Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the through-openings in the planar connecting element are formed in the form of slots.
  4. Arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the profile element (1) and/or the planar connecting element (5) are manufactured from steel, stainless steel, aluminium or plastic.
  5. Arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the thread is produced in the form of a weld nut (8).
  6. Arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the connecting means comprise rivets and/or an adhesive bond.
  7. Railing portion (11, 12) having at least one profile element (1) and at least one planar connecting element (5) of an arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 6, wherein the profile element (1) and the planar connecting element (5) are formed in one piece with the railing portion (11, 12).
  8. Railing portion (11, 12) according to Claim 7, characterized in that the profile element (1) and the planar connecting portion (5) are oriented in a substantially vertical manner and extend in particular over the entire height of the railing portion (11, 12).
  9.
