Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Abgasrückführventil (10), mit einem Gehäuse (11), dessen Inneres (12) mit einem Einlass (13) für einzuleitendes Abgas, einer Ventilöffnung (14, 25) für zurückzuführendes Abgas und einem Auslass (15) für auszuleitendes Abgas in Verbindung steht, mit einem die Ventilöffnung (14, 25) steuernden, zwischen einer Schließstellung und einer Öffnungsstellung bewegbaren Ventilelement (30) und einem zwischen einer den Auslass (15) verschließenden und diesen freigebenden Stellung bewegbaren Drosselelement (40), die gemeinsam um eine Schwenkachse (18) derart schwenkbetätigbar sind, dass bei Bewegung des Ventilelements (30) in Richtung seiner Öffnungsstellung das Drosselelement (40) entsprechend in Richtung seiner Schließstellung und umgekehrt bewegt wird und der Auslass (15) mittels des Drosselelements (40) bei in Öffnungsstellung befindlichem Ventilelement (30) zumindest nahezu vollständig geschlossen und bei in Schließstellung befindlichem Ventilelement (30) geöffnet ist. Die Ventilöffnung (14, 25) ist an einer Stirnseite (24) des Gehäuses (11) und der Auslass (15) an einem Umfangsbereich des Gehäuses (11) vorgesehen, wobei diese in quer, z. B. etwa rechtwinklig, zueinander gerichteten Gehäusebereichen enthalten sind (Fig. 3).
