Abstract
Es werden eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur Überwachung wenigstens einer Glühkerze eines Kraftfahrzeugs beschrieben. Eine zeitabhängige Größe, die den durch wenigstens eine Glühkerze fließenden Strom charakterisiert, wird zur Fehlererkennung mit wenigstens einem zeitabhängigen Schwellenwert verglichen. Auf Fehler wird erkannt, wenn die zeitabhängige Größe größer und/oder kleiner als der Schwellenwert ist. Der Schwellwert wird durch eine Nachbildung der Glühkerze erzeugt. An apparatus and a method for monitoring at least one glow plug of a motor vehicle are described. A time-dependent variable, which characterizes the current flowing through at least one glow plug, is compared with at least one time-dependent threshold value for error detection. Errors are detected when the time-dependent size is greater and / or less than the threshold. The threshold is generated by a replica of the glow plug.
