Abstract

Es werden eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur Überwachung wenigstens einer Glühkerze eines Kraftfahrzeugs beschrieben. Eine zeitabhängige Größe, die den durch wenigstens eine Glühkerze fließenden Strom charakterisiert, wird zur Fehlererkennung mit wenigstens einem zeitabhängigen Schwellenwert verglichen. Auf Fehler wird erkannt, wenn die zeitabhängige Größe größer und/oder kleiner als der Schwellenwert ist. Der Schwellwert wird durch eine Nachbildung der Glühkerze erzeugt.
