Abstract

Production of a water-guiding cast fitting of a drinking water pipe comprises casting a copper-tin, copper-tin-zinc or copper-silicon-zinc alloy containing at least 80 wt.% copper, annealing the cast part at 400-800[deg]C for at least 30 minutes and cooling in ambient air.
