Abstract

The method involves lying partial material web rolls against a common central roller (5) in two winding position groups (A,B), which are moved axially to each other on different positions (PA,PB). A conveyor strip is formed in an edge area of the partial material web with the help of separators (15,18), preferably a traverse separator, arranged before a new nip (N2) in a running direction of the partial material web. An initial separating piece is brought between a conveyor strip and a central roller with the help of a conveying device (19). An independent claim is also included for a device for winding of a partial material web on a roll core to partial material web rolls.
