Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schiffsantriebsvorrichtung, insbesondere für große Propellerdrehmomente, mit mindestens einer Zahnradstufe (9) zwischen Antrieb und Propeller (1) und einer winkel- sowie axialbeweglichen Kupplung (7) zwischen der Zahnradstufe und einer Trennkupplung (3), die den Antrieb vom Propeller abkuppeln kann, wobei die Trennkupplung (3) und die mindestens eine Zahnradstufe in getrennten Gehäusen angeordnet sind, wobei das Gehäuse (13) der Trennkupplung starr mit dem Schiffsfundament verbunden ist und die beiden Gehäuse (10,13) bezüglich der sich zugewandten Lagerungen (11,12) der Welle einen maximalen Abstand (5) von etwa dem achtfachen Durchmesser der Welle (5) aufweisen.
