Abstract

La présente invention concerne une chambre de décharge électrostatique à utiliser dans un interrupteur de sécurité (50), présentant une cavité (15) dans un logement (31) dans lequel un arc peut se produire quand des contacts (7, 35) de l'interrupteur de sécurité sont rompus, une ouverture de purge (44) qui est en communication avec la cavité (15) pour évacuer l'augmentation de gaz et/ou de pression provoquée par l'arc et un élément d'extinction (33) pour diviser l'arc en sous-arcs, l'élément d'extinction (33) étant en outre positionné entre les contacts (7, 35) et l'ouverture de purge (44) dans la cavité (15). La chambre de décharge électrostatique est composée d'un élément d'extinction (33) installé dans la cavité (15) et construit en tant qu'unité indépendante, de parois latérales du logement (31) et d'une plaque de fermeture (34) qui peut être fixée à l'élément d'extinction (33). La plaque de fermeture (34) est munie d'un modèle prédéfini d ouvertures (67) et l'élément d'extinction (33) et la plaque de fermeture (34) sont intégrés dans le logement (31) de manière à pouvoir être retirés.
