  • Vertebroplasty is an image-guided, minimally invasive, nonsurgical therapy used to strengthen a broken vertebra that has been weakened by disease, such as osteoporosis or cancer. Vertebroplasty is often used to treat compression fractures, such as those caused by osteoporosis, cancer, or stress. Abstract

Dispositif de support expansible pour réparation d'un tissu que l'on peut utiliser pour réparer un tissu dur ou mou, notamment un os ou des disques vertébraux. Procédé de réparation du tissu, dispositif d'expansion coulissable susceptible de comprendre un composant d'expansion, une extension et un manche. Le composant d'expansion comporte de multiples éléments. Lorsqu'au moins deux éléments coulissent l'un par rapport à l'autre, le dispositif d'expansion s'étend. Procédés d'utilisation du dispositif.
