Definitions
- the invention relates to an actuator for an actuator according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a known actuator for a throttle valve in the intake manifold of an internal combustion engine ( DE 196 12 869 A1 ) arranged between the engine output shaft and the actuating shaft transmission gear is a two-stage spur gear with an intermediate gear which meshes with a first gear portion with a seated on the engine output shaft motor pinion and a second gear portion with a fixedly arranged on the actuating shaft drive gear.
- Drive gear and control shaft are rotatably mounted in a the actuator and the transmission gear receiving actuator housing.
- a reset device ensures that in case of failure of the servomotor, the throttle valve is returned to a basic position in which only an emergency operation of the internal combustion engine is possible.
- the restoring device has a concentric the adjusting shaft enclosing, designed as a cylindrical coil spring torsion spring and a rotatably received on the actuating shaft stop piece.
- the torsion spring engages its one spring end on the drive gear and with its other spring end to the stop piece and is supported axially between the drive gear and stopper piece, which in turn is supported axially on the recorded in the actuator housing pivot bearing for the control shaft.
- the torsion spring generates via its spring ends a torque on the drive gear and on the stop piece, which in turn cooperates via a stop arranged on it with a counter-stop arranged on the intermediate wheel. This return torque increases with increasing twisting of the throttle from its home position. In the event of failure of the servomotor, this restoring torque will return the throttle to its home position.
- the transmission gear between the engine output shaft and control shaft is designed as a worm gear with worm and circular-toothed rack.
- the worm is rotatably mounted on the motor output shaft, and the rack is slidably guided in the actuator housing along a circular arc.
- On the actuating shaft a Mit promisingarm is fixed, which rests with its arm end on the front side of the rack.
- a seated on the actuating shaft coil spring puts the driving arm frictionally against the toothed segment, so that the Mitiliaarm pivoted when moving the rack and thereby the actuating shaft is rotated with actuator.
- the actuator according to the invention with the features of claim 1 has the advantage that by providing two, preferably designed as return springs, energy storage, which are used separately on the input and on the output side of the transmission gear and of which one on the engine output shaft and the other reacts on the control shaft or the actuator firmly connected to this, a transmission gear with only one gear stage and very large translation can be used without the restoring force of the reset device according to the large gear ratio would have to be sized large.
- the energy storage can be relatively small dimensions; because the one energy storage only has to compensate for the engine cogging torque and the other energy storage only the Nutzmoment on the control shaft.
- the servomotor By bypassing the transmission, the servomotor can be kept small in performance.
- the single-stage transmission gear, the small servo motor and the two preferably designed as return springs energy storage are beneficial in terms of space savings, weight reduction and low manufacturing costs.
- a reduction gear is arranged between the engine output shaft and the rear-acting energy storage, which is preferably a crown gear with a fixedly disposed on the engine output shaft spur gear and a meshing with this crown gear whose wheel axis perpendicular to the motor Output shaft is aligned.
- the retroactive on the transmission output of the Kronengetriebes energy storage is designed as a return spring, which fixed with its one end of the spring on Kronenrad and with its other spring end.
- the crown gear has - as a spur gear - hardly loss of efficiency and allows a tensioning of the return spring over several revolutions of the motor output shaft, as they are also required for adjusting the actuator.
- the actuator shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 for an actuator 10 comprises an electric servo motor 11 with a motor output shaft 12, an actuating shaft 13, a transmission gear 14 arranged between the engine output shaft 12 and the actuating shaft 13 and a return device 15 to reset the actuator 10 in a basic position in case of failure or failure of the servomotor 11.
- the actuator 10 may be a throttle valve in the intake manifold of an internal combustion engine, an air damper in an air conditioner or other pivotal element for controlling a channel cross-section.
- the actuator 10 is indicated in Fig. 2 in part.
- the servo motor 11 and the transmission gear 14 are received in a cup-shaped actuator housing 16.
- the control shaft 13 is rotatably mounted in the actuator housing 16.
- the transmission gear 14 is formed as a worm gear, which has a seated on the motor output shaft 12 worm 17 and a worm wheel 18. The latter is rotatably mounted on the control shaft 13. Since the actuator 10 executes only a limited pivoting movement, the worm wheel 18 is formed as a wheel segment, wherein the wheel toothing extends over a circular arc of less than 180 °.
- the return device 15 has an effective on the input side of the transmission gear 14, a first energy storage performing first return spring 21 and on the output side of the transmission gear 14 effective, a second energy storage performing second return spring 22.
- the second return spring 22 is formed as a torsion spring 23, preferably as a cylindrical coil spring. It is dimensioned so that it is able to overcome the useful torque which can be removed on the control shaft 13.
- the first return spring 21, however, is designed so that it is able to overcome the engine cogging torque.
- the first return spring 21 is connected via a reduction gear 23 with the motor output shaft 12 in operative engagement.
- the reduction gear 23 is preferably designed as a crown gear with a fixedly arranged on the motor output shaft 12 spur gear 24 and a rotatably mounted in the actuator housing 16 crown gear 25, which is in meshing engagement with the spur gear 24.
- the first return spring 21 is formed in the embodiment as a spiral spring 26, with its one spring end 261 on the crown gear 25 and with its other spring end on
- the coil spring 26 is preferably arranged at the bottom of the crown wheel 25 and protrudes with its not visible in Fig. 1, fixed to the actuator housing 16 spring end through an arcuate slot at the bottom of the crown wheel 25 therethrough.
- both return springs 21, 22 as spiral or cylindrical coil springs.
- Fig. 1 by way of example the actuator is shown in a position in which the actuator 10 assumes its basic position.
- the servomotor 11 is de-energized. If the motor is turned on with such a direction of rotation that the motor output shaft 12 rotates clockwise, the worm wheel 18 is pivoted in the direction of the arrow 19 via the rotating worm 17. At the same time the crown gear 25 is rotated over the rotating spur gear 24 so that the bias of the coil spring 26 increases.
- the control shaft 13 By pivoting the worm wheel 18, the control shaft 13 is rotated, which in turn pivots the actuator 10 in a position in which it releases a flow cross-section to be controlled more or less far.
- the cylindrical coil spring 20 is tensioned.
- the servomotor 11 may perform to adjust the actuator 10 only a few turns.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an actuator for an actuator according to the preamble of claim 1.
The actuator according to the invention with the features of claim 1 has the advantage that by providing two, preferably designed as return springs, energy storage, which are used separately on the input and on the output side of the transmission gear and of which one on the engine output shaft and the other reacts on the control shaft or the actuator firmly connected to this, a transmission gear with only one gear stage and very large translation can be used without the restoring force of the reset device according to the large gear ratio would have to be sized large. Known, such single-stage transmission gearbox with large gear ratio, such as one represented by a worm gear, also have the disadvantage of high efficiency losses, which in the known design of the return device with a single, acting on the actuator or the actuating shaft energy storage in the form of a return spring of the Return device must be compensated in addition. This not only leads to an oversized strong return spring, but also to the need to use a powerful servo motor for rotating the control shaft against the correspondingly large restoring force of the return spring. With the recovery of the restoring force of the return device according to the invention separated for engine output shaft and control shaft of two energy storage and the high efficiency losses of the transmission can be bypassed, so that the energy storage can be relatively small dimensions; because the one energy storage only has to compensate for the engine cogging torque and the other energy storage only the Nutzmoment on the control shaft. By bypassing the transmission, the servomotor can be kept small in performance. The single-stage transmission gear, the small servo motor and the two preferably designed as return springs energy storage are beneficial in terms of space savings, weight reduction and low manufacturing costs. In addition, it is possible to use as a transmission gear and those transmissions that have self-locking due to their high translation. In actuators with such a transmission would be conventional return device for transferring the actuator to a basic position in case of failure of the servomotor not operational.
The measures listed in the further claims advantageous refinements and improvements of the claim 1 actuator are possible.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, a reduction gear is arranged between the engine output shaft and the rear-acting energy storage, which is preferably a crown gear with a fixedly disposed on the engine output shaft spur gear and a meshing with this crown gear whose wheel axis perpendicular to the motor Output shaft is aligned. The retroactive on the transmission output of the Kronengetriebes energy storage is designed as a return spring, which fixed with its one end of the spring on Kronenrad and with its other spring end. The crown gear has - as a spur gear - hardly loss of efficiency and allows a tensioning of the return spring over several revolutions of the motor output shaft, as they are also required for adjusting the actuator.

The actuator shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 for an actuator 10 (FIG. 2) comprises an
The
The
In Fig. 1 by way of example the actuator is shown in a position in which the
Of course, it is possible to dispense with the crown gear and the first energy storage, respectively. the first return spring, the return device to act directly on the engine output shaft. Then, however, the
