Description

The invention relates to a multi-part roof for vehicles with an open structure.

Multi-part roofs for vehicles are known in a variety of configurations, with the user usually speaking only between hardtops, ie hard shell roofs, or soft tops in the sense of folding roofs with flexible top cloth. But there are also many hybrid forms, such as roofs, which only partially have a dimensionally stable or flexible roof, or roofs, where a flexible top cloth is partially provided in overlap with a dimensionally stable roof shell.

Bei geöffnetem Dach grenzt die Hutablage meist an den Kofferraumdeckel an.In both roof shapes, hardtops and soft tops, it is customary folded roofs folded in an open structure or accommodate put in a rear side to the passenger compartment of the vehicle storage compartment, which may be provided separated to the trunk or form part of the trunk and the one upstream of the boot lid Cover, referred to as hatrack assigned. To open and close the roof, the parcel shelf is adjustable in an opening position releasing the access to the storage space. at closed roof is the parcel shelf within the roof and usually about a passage gap for the roof objects to the boot lid. When the roof is open, the parcel shelf usually adjoins the boot lid.

A multi-part roof for vehicles with an open structure of the type mentioned is from the DE 101 17 767 A1 Known and it is here the two-part roof associated with a roof kinematic over which the roof is to accommodate in the open state in a storage space, as lying in the adjustment for the roof parts when opening and closing the roof a Hubablage is assigned as a cover. The hat rack is adjustable via a handlebar kinematics in the form of a multi-joint arrangement, which is constructed as a joint chain of three multi-joint mechanisms. These each have two body-fixed pivot points as articulation points, wherein in each case a common body-fixed pivot point is assigned to two consecutive multi-joint mechanisms and wherein in the joint chain in each case two successive multi-joint mechanisms is assigned a common lever. The multi-joint mechanisms are designed as four- or five-joint mechanisms. The multi-joint arrangement has a drive connection to one of the links of the roof kinematics, wherein the design of the joint chain, the adjustment of the parcel shelf superimposed on the adjustment of the roof kinematics or the roof takes place, in such a way that the adjustment of the parcel shelf takes place during the adjustment of the roof. The adjustment of the parcel shelf is thus completed at the latest when reaching the end positions of the roof. This is to be achieved in particular favorable control times, that is, it should be the closing or opening operation of the roof in the shortest possible time.

An independent and separate adjustment of the parcel shelf is at another, from the FR-A 2 834 949 sought after known solution, in which the parcel shelf is divided into a front cover part pivotable about a vehicle transverse axis and a rear cover part, which is pivotably supported by a four-bar arrangement in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The subdivision of the parcel shelf in a front and a rear cover part makes it possible to vary the total length of the parcel shelf by the degree of overlap between the cover parts, so that the passage gap required when the roof is closed between parcel shelf and the rear following boot lid to shorten the overlap between the Cover parts can be closed when the roof is open.

The invention is intended for a multi-part roof according to the preamble of claim 1, a particularly appropriate control of the access to the storage compartment for the top partially covering hat rack are made possible.

According to the invention, this is achieved with the features of claim 1.

The invention makes for the openable roof and for the parcel shelf coupled to the movement of the roof kinematics an operation possible in which the parcel shelf is pivoted starting from its operating position with the roof closed in an open position in the access to the storage room for the roof to be deposited is released and kept open until the roof has reached its storage position, and accordingly the roof kinematics a corresponding end position. Starting from this end position, the handlebar kinematics of the parcel shelf is pivoted into its operating position when the roof is laid down via a separate actuator which is supported against the roof kinematics.

Accordingly, the procedure when closing the roof. For this purpose, first the hat rack is opened via its actuator and adjusted relative to the roof kinematics in the initial position in the operation of their actuator given position on the actuator. Thereafter, without actuation of the actuator of the parcel shelf, the displacement of the parcel shelf synchronized to the displacement of the roof, wherein the parcel shelf reaches its corresponding, adjacent to the inner roof contour and the storage space of the roof overlapping operating position with the roof closed. Opposite this operating position, the operating position reached via the actuator corresponds to the storage position of the roof of a rearwardly displaced operating position of the parcel shelf.

The roof kinematics, based on the longitudinal extent of the vehicle, supported on Längsseitliche, positionally solid brackets 5 and extending from the consoles 5 in the closed position of the roof substantially along the roof parts 1 - 3. Basically, it is also within the scope of the invention, the consoles 5 to make adjustable to the body itself in a known manner, so that can be realized more transitional positions, such as a storage position by adjusting the console 5 raised loading position.

In detail, the roof kinematics, in each case based on a vehicle longitudinal side, a the rear part 3 associated C-pillar arm 6 as part of a first four-bar linkage. The C-pillar link is connected to the console 5 via an intermediate link 9 in articulation points 7 and 8. Guided on the console 5 in a pivot point 10 is also a main link 11 as a front link of the first four-bar linkage. The C-pillar guide 6 is related to the closed roof, in the rear end region of the central part 2 with this in the pivot point 12, the pivot point 13 of the main link 11 is offset in the direction of travel F provided on the central part 2.

Near the articulation point 13 and counter to the direction of travel F is on the main link 11 in a pivot point 14, a control arm 15 - articulated as part of a third four-bar linkage, which acts on a countershaft 16, the front part 1, the handlebars 17 and 18 - as components of a second four-bar joint - is connected to the middle part 2. The link 17 is articulated in a front-side pivot point 19 and the link 18 in a rear pivot point 20 on the front part 1. The pivot points on the central part 2 are designated for the handlebar 17 with 21 and for the arm 18 with 22, wherein the pivot point 21 in the direction of travel F before the pivot point 22 and offset in height to this lies. Preferably, the articulation point 22 is located near the upper boundary of the middle part 2, in particular in an upwardly directed formation thereof.

The provided as a countershaft 16 five-joint comprises a central part 2 in the articulation point 23 - adjacent to the articulation point 22 of the arm 18 - hinged guide arm 24, the control arm 15 has a relation to the closed roof obliquely rearwardly downwardly offset pivot point 81 and to the crossing a connecting link 25 is provided, which has an articulation point 26 and the articulation point 22 connected to the central part 2 link 18 to the control arm 15 a pivot point 27.

The rear part 3 is with respect to his lying in connection with the body-mounted console 5 pivot point 7 variable in position, and the pivoting of the intermediate link 9, the C-pillar handlebar 6 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle upon pivoting of the roof between closing and opening position displaced so that the roof can achieve a reduced space requirement in the vehicle longitudinal direction during storage and during transfer to the storage position. Controlled is the intermediate link 9 in its pivoting movement about its console 5 associated articulation point 8 via a control link 28 which is articulated in a pivot point 29 on the main link 11.

On the main link 11 of the adjustment for the roof kinematics, which is formed by a supported against the console 5 linear drive in the form of a control cylinder 31 which acts on a deflector 32 and is connected in a pivot point 33 with the deflector 32. The deflector 32 is connected via a four-bar linkage with the bracket 5, the handlebars 34 and 35 of different lengths includes, of which the longer arm 34 is connected in a pivot point 36 and the shorter arm 35 at the pivot point 10 of the main link 11 with the console 5. Instead of a coincident linkage to the console 5 in a pivot point 10 of the handlebar 35 and the main link 11 may be articulated in separate pivot points on the console 5.

The deflector 32 further includes a pivot point 37 to an actuator 38, which is connected in a pivot point 39 to the main link 11, so that the over the deflector 32nd leading drive connection of the actuating cylinder 31 to the main link 11 is closed. Adjusting movements of the adjusting cylinder 31 thus lead to pivotal movements of the main link 11 and starting from the main link 11 via the control link 28 for pivoting the intermediate link 9 and thus to displacements of the connected via the intermediate links 9 with the console 5 pivot point 7 of the C-pillar guide 6. Of the linkages the handlebars 34 and 35 on the deflector 32 coincides with the longer, in connection to the bracket 5 lying arm 34 together with the articulation point 33 of the actuating cylinder 31, while the deflector 32 is connected in a pivot point 80 to the handlebar 35. The articulation points 33, 37 and 80 are almost in the corners of an equilateral triangle, the articulation points 33 and 37 with the roof closed almost in the direction of adjustment of the actuating cylinder 31 in line and in alignment with the actuating cylinder 31, resulting in favorable power transmission ratios in the transmission of restoring forces on the main handlebar 11 result.

The movements in the conversion of the roof are, according to the explanations in the figure legend, from the drawings, Fig. 1 to 4 can be seen, in which corresponding reference numerals are entered for explanation. The described roof kinematics works overall space-saving, further with favorable gear ratios and thus effortless, and shows a simple handlebar construction.

In Fig. 5 and 6 is illustrated in conjunction with the displacement of the roof between the open and closed position adjustment of the rear window, the rear window is only indicated schematically at 40; Furthermore, in particular in the following Fig. 7 to 11 a hatrack 60 illustrates with the associated kinematics, over which the parcel shelf 60 in sync with the roof kinematic and the roof, complementary but also to adjust the roof kinematics and the roof in the storage position of the roof.

The rear window 40 is guided relative to the respective C-pillar guide 6 via a four-bar arrangement which has two links 41 and 42 as a parallelogram link arrangement, which articulation points 43 and 44 to the C-pillar guide 6 and articulation points 45 and 46 to the rear window 40 and their frames. The handlebars 41 and 42 extend with the roof closed substantially rectified in the longitudinal direction of the C-pillar guide 6. A corresponding extension is given for a drive link 47 which is connected to the middle part 2 in a pivot point 48, in the longitudinal direction of the central part 2 opposite the direction of travel F offset to the articulation point 12 between C-pillar guide 6 and middle part 2 is provided. The drive link 47 is guided relative to the C-pillar guide 6 via a four-bar arrangement which comprises links 49 and 50, which have articulation points 51, 52 to the C-pillar link 6. Further, the links 49, 50 pivot points 53, 54 to the drive link 47 and there are also pivotally connected to the drive link 47 also transfer link 55, 56, which in turn engage in articulation points 57, 58 on the connected to the rear window 40 links 41, 42 , The transfer links 55, 56 are connected in articulation points with the drive link 47, which preferably coincide with the articulation points 53 and 54 of the links 49, 50 to reduce the structural complexity.

When adjusting the roof between the opening and closing position and the associated pivoting of the roof parts against each other, the change in position between C-pillar guide 6 and middle part 2, as the drawings in accordance with Fig. 5 and 6 show, to a longitudinal displacement of the drive link 47 relative to the C-pillar guide 6, and thus to a displacement of the drive arm 47 associated with the pivot points 53, 54 of the transfer link 55, 56, through which, when opening the roof, the handlebars 41, 42 are pivoted from their to the C-pillar arm 6 substantially rectified extension position in a transverse position, with the effect that the rear window 40 relative to the C-pillar arm 6 lifted off the back becomes. This leads in the storage position with supine rear part 3 to a displacement of the rear window 40 in the direction of the overlying middle part 2 with a corresponding, reduced space requirements for the roof in its storage position.

In the Fig. 5 to 11 is further with the roof closed in the rear region of the rear part 3 engages provided for this parcel shelf 60 illustrates the adjustment, partly synchronously with the roof adjustment, via a roof kinematics associated Hutablagekinematik, the Hutablagenkinematik for adjusting the parcel shelf with respect to the stored roof an additional Actuator 61 includes.

The parcel shelf 60 forms the coupling of a four-bar linkage whose links 62 and 63 are connected to the parcel shelf 60 in articulation points 64 and 65 and furthermore have articulation points 66 and 67 to a base link 68, which in turn has an articulation point 69 to the console 5. The base link 68 is in turn connected via a drive link 70 to the main link 11. The drive link 70 has a link point 71 to the base link 68 and a link point 72 to the main link 11. Further, the base arm 68 is connected via a portion of the rear shelf 60 to the shelf 60 as coupling coupling, adjacent to the pivot point 66 on the base arm 68, in a pivot point 73 with a bridge arm 74 which is in the connection to the additional actuator 61 and the one to Deflector 75 has a pivot point 76. The deflector 75 has a pivot point 77 to the main link 11 and further also a pivot point 78 to the actuator 61 in the form of an actuating cylinder, which in turn is articulated in a pivot point 79 on the main link 11. At the same position of the actuator 61 so that the pivot point 76 of the bridge arm 74 is fixed to the deflector 75 and the main link 11 and it is the base link 68 kinematically coupled via the drive arm 70 and the bridge arm 74 comprehensive handlebar chain with the main link 11.

This is in the storage movement of the roof in the storage position, as the drawings in accordance with Fig. 5 to 11 show, the parcel shelf 60, coupled to the movement of the roof, initially pivoted to a position corresponding to the access to the storage room of the roof releasing initial or border position when the roof is transferred from its storage position to its closed position.

The parcel shelf is thus adjusted when opening and closing the roof, up to the mentioned limit position when opening and starting from this limit position when closing the roof, via the coupling to the roof kinematics. The specified limit position of the parcel shelf corresponds to a position in which the parcel shelf no longer hampers the passage of the roof. Within the adjustment range of the parcel shelf between the respective operating position - open or when stored roof - and the passage of the roof enabling limit position, the adjustment of the parcel shelf - located in storage position roof, by the separate actuator 61 for the parcel shelf 60, the only Adjustment of the parcel shelf 60 is used so that it can be designed for relatively small adjustment ranges and, accordingly, is not subject to any high requirements.
