Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wärmetauscher, insbesondere einen Verdampfer, mit mindestens einem Einspritzrohr, einer Mehrzahl von Durchtrittsöffnungen, einer Mehrzahl von über die Durchtrittsöffnungen mit dem Einspritzrohr direkt oder indirekt verbundener, eine Wärmeübergangsfläche bildender Elemente, durch welche ein Medium strömt, welches im Bereich des Wärmetauschers zumindest teilweise einen Phasenwechsel durchläuft, und einem Saugrohr, wobei der Wärmetauscher derart ausgebildet ist, dass im Einspritzrohr in mindestens einem Bereich zumindest bei einem Teil der Durchtrittsöffnungen die Strömungsgeschwindigkeit des Mediums erhöht ist. In Folge der erhöhten Strömungsgeschwindigkeit des Mediums, im Folgenden als Kältemittel bezeichnet, erfolgt eine bessere Vermischung der vorliegenden Phasen.
