Definitions
- the present invention describes an analysis method for evaluating personal training data by recording measured values with a measuring device during the training unit, storing them and transmitting them to a computing device after completion of the training unit by a transmission unit.
- Such a device is in EP 0748185 B1 described.
- the heart rate of a trainee is measured by electrocardiography during the entire load phase, for the favorable and simple determination and monitoring of the aerobic and anaerobic thresholds.
- the heart rate thus serves to monitor the training effect, since it is possible to train in a controlled manner in the exercise load range desired by the exerciser.
- these are also displayed on a screen, so that the exerciser can read off his current exertion.
- training programs desired by the trainee can be programmed.
- the explained method is used to record, store and display measured values during a training session.
- neither extensive training programs can be programmed nor calculated by the measuring device, which includes further target values in addition to target pulse ranges of the trainee.
- the procedure goes out EP 1206306 B1 one step further.
- the disclosed method registers and analyzes values that are countable and measurable when exercising a training session and generates training programs therefrom.
- characteristic parameters are calculated for the trainee. From these, a key figure profile of a trainee is formed and compared with a standard key figure profile of a group of trainees or an average trainee.
- the standard key figure profiles come from a reference database.
- the measure profile of a trainee is compared with the standard measure profile of a group.
- the conclusions of the performance of a trainee are thus related only to average values of a reference group, whereby no individually tailored to the trainee training planning takes place.
- the method does not consider training planning for a competition.
- no goal-oriented training planning is revealed, which optimizes training programs for the remaining time until the competition and dynamically varies.
- the results of the completed training session are only analyzed by comparing the values with a Reference database are compared. This process is sufficient for recreational athletes, who want to keep fit and want to practice their sport rather without a goal and will provide average performance due to the averaging process.
- a purposeful procedure is in US2004241629 A1 shown.
- personal data of a trainee such as height, weight, fitness and eating habits are entered together with a goal, such as competition preparation or weight reduction, and used to determine a training program.
- a fitness test with a small number of exercises is used to assess the fitness level of the exerciser by comparing it to a database of fitness levels in a comparison group.
- the maximum pulse of the exerciser is used and from this the training pulse to be achieved is calculated, depending on the previously determined fitness level of the exerciser. This fitness level must be redefined by the exerciser through a test, so that it can flow into the generation of the training program.
- the US2002 / 146670 discloses a portable device in which trainer or athlete can enter training values or with which training-specific input parameters can be recorded, which are later analyzed after being transmitted to a central processing unit. From the transmitted input parameters and the training values, the processing unit calculates an endurance sports training program, wherein the endurance sports training program is determined by analysis of the measurements after the training session, especially by comparisons with defaults, with measurements from athletes with higher performance limits, and comparisons with previous records.
- the present invention has for its object to provide a method for dynamically adapting an endurance sports training program, which is personalized to a trainee and is recalculated after each training session.
- This endurance sports training program is adjusted by the calculation to set training goals, such as a race or a targeted weight reduction, to a target weight at a future date.
- the feedback of the services provided by the trainer has a direct influence on the calculation of the endurance sports training program.
- measured values are recorded during the training unit by a measuring device and stored and sent to a computing unit together after the training session for calculating the future endurance sports training program.
- Such a personalized and dynamic endurance sports training program registers the changes in performance and weight reduction of the exerciser and can thus optimally align the training plan to the trainee.
- the aim of endurance sports training is to increase the stamina, which means the ability to provide greater benefits over a longer period of time.
- Endurance sports training has a particularly positive effect on the cardiovascular system of a trainee.
- Other training effects include an improvement in metabolism, fat burning, which is important in weight problems and can lead to weight loss, as well as the strengthening of the immune system.
- each exerciser must train for an endurance sports training program that is optimized to achieve the above positive benefits.
- training planning for endurance sports training should be based on the principle of periodization, the controlled alternation of stress and relieving the organism of a trainee.
- the adaptation of the performance of a trainee takes place during the training breaks Training sessions 2 instead. Training breaks must therefore be scheduled specifically to get the desired results.
- the endurance sports training program presented here uses, in addition to periodization, the principle of supercompensation known from sports medicine. The effect is exploited that the performance 1 of a trainee during a training session 2 falls from a basic performance level 3 through the load to a minimum performance 4 at the end of the training session 2. During the subsequent regeneration phase 5, the performance 1 increases to the supercompensation level 6, exceeding the initial baseline performance level 3 for a short time.
- the increased performance level is exploited for further performance enhancement by placing the next training session 2 in the period of super-compensation.
- Intensive training depletes the ability to regenerate, which is taken into account in the training planning.
- the coordination between stress phases and regeneration phases must be optimized to increase performance and prevent overtraining.
- the method according to the invention is used to determine an endurance sports training program of input parameters 7 and measured values 8, which are recorded during each training unit 2.
- a personal endurance sports training program 9 is calculated for each trainee.
- the exerciser can log in on a commercially operated Internet portal 13 password-protected, which is connected to a computing device 10, which performs the later calculation of the endurance sports training program 9.
- a computing device 10 which performs the later calculation of the endurance sports training program 9.
- the trainee Upon initial access to the computing device 10, the trainee enters User account by entering information about his person, such as name, date of birth, weight, size, time zone in which the trainee is located, gender and sport (running, cycling, swimming, etc.) by means of an input unit 11.
- This input unit 11 can be a conventional desktop personal computer, a portable laptop, a handheld computer or even a mobile phone with a corresponding web browsing function.
- input parameters 7 can also be entered via mobile phone applications and sent via SMS.
- the transmission of the input data to the computing device 10 is carried out by transmission means, which consist of several units. These include the input unit 11 and a transmission unit 12 which is connected to the input unit 11.
- the transmission unit 12 can transmit the data from the input unit 11 wirelessly, via wireless LAN, bluetooth or via a cable connection via the Internet portal 13 to the computing device 10.
- a mandatory input parameter is the training goal of the exerciser.
- This training goal may be a competition on a date in the future, or a weight reduction up to a certain day.
- This training goal is important for the dynamic adaptation of the endurance sports training program, since the date of the training goal is compulsory for the calculation of the contents of the individual training units 2 up to the desired appointment.
- Input parameters which are also important for adjusting the endurance sports training program of each exerciser, are the number of training years of continuous training and the possible weekly training time, ie the time budget of the exerciser per week. While the number of training years is too Starting the creation of an endurance training program of interest and gives a first impression of the possible regeneration time of the exerciser, the frequently varying time budget for the adjustment of the endurance sports training program is used continuously.
- the training-specific input parameters 7 include measurable quantities such as weight of the exerciser in the morning and sleep duration, as well as subjective values such as sleep quality, regenerative ability and stress factor of the exerciser. After these input parameters 7 have been input via the input unit 11 and transmitted to the computing device 10, these are taken into account in the calculation of the endurance sports training program 9.
- the input of the current weight is especially important for exercisers who use the endurance sports training program to achieve a target weight, and allows an optimal adaptation of the training.
- Further training-specific input parameters 7, such as type of training, training content, stretching exercises, amount of training, intensity of training and training feeling are given by the exerciser after each completed training session 2.
- the input parameter 7, which is subjectively evaluated by the exerciser, such as training scope, training intensity and training feeling, in the adaptation of the endurance sports training program the exerciser has a choice of possible answers.
- the endurance sports training program 9 is adapted to the regeneration ability and / or the development of the weight of the exerciser.
- the endurance sports training program calculated for the next training units 2 is redetermined on the basis of the input parameters 7.
- Each training session 2 is characterized by the extent and intensity of the exercise.
- the extent of a training session 2 is determined by the duration of the training session 2 and the type of exercise to be performed, such as continuous stress below the anaerobic threshold, or interval loading in the aerobic-anaerobic transition zone with pauses between the intervals.
- the intensity of a training session 2 is subdivided into various heart rate dependent areas. A distinction is made between the tip area, the development area, the basal area and the compensation area with decreasing heart rate.
- the training units 2 are determined such that the intensity and the extent of the training unit 2 are matched to the state of regeneration of the exerciser.
- a portable measuring device 20 is used. This can record the heart rate 18, the speed 17 or other measured values 8, which are proportional to the power provided and which can be used for the later evaluation and calculation of the endurance sports training program 9.
- the recording of the measured values 8 takes place automatically during the training unit 2 and does not disturb the exerciser, so that the latter can concentrate completely on the training.
- the recorded measured values 8 are transmitted by a transmission device 21 in the measuring device 20 via a transmission link 22, via input unit 11, the transmission unit 12 and the Internet portal 13 to the computing device 10 transmitted.
- the transmission link 22 can be realized by an interface cable, or a wireless connection, such as a bluetooth or infrared connection.
- the endurance sports training program 9 consists of a calendar listing of training units 2 with calculated scope and calculated intensity. Possibilities for the design of the training units 2 in the endurance sports training program 9 are the text form and / or the symbolic representation, which is easy to read and is widely used in electronic display means.
- the dynamic adaptation of the endurance sport training program 9 for a registered user is based on a training target 14 on a corresponding target date, which was entered as an input parameter 7 by the trainee.
- the intensity and scope of the future training units 16 are initially input by parameters 7 as the number Training years of continuous training before registration on the Internet portal 13 is determined. After determining the extent of the training stimuli, the intensity of the respective training units 2 up to the training target 14 is determined and the endurance sports training program 9 adapted thereto. The exerciser must reach the prescribed intensities during each training session 2, which are divided into areas as described above. After carrying out a training unit 2, the measured values 8 are transmitted to the computing device 10. Measurements 8 suitable for runners are the measured speed 17 or the heart rate 18 during the training session 2, from which it is possible to deduce the service provided. The measurement of the power provided is easily possible with training units 2 on a bicycle or a bicycle ergometer with a corresponding power meter. The performance data from a power meter are transmitted to the computing device 10 like other measured values 8.
- the computing device 10 compares the measured values 8 with the required intensities and the scope of the training unit 2 under consideration and calculates 8 power-time curves from the measured values, determines the time intervals in different training areas and stores the results in the user account of the exerciser.
- the computing device 10 additionally calculates the intensity and the Scope of the upcoming future training session 16 from the past values of the training units 15 made.
- the measured values 8 and the subjectively selected training-specific input parameters 7 of each training unit 15 with n ⁇ 0 are included in the consideration in order to determine the preload of the exerciser before the future training unit 16.
- the subjectively selectable training-specific input parameters 7, such as training scope, training intensity and training feeling, which can be input after each training unit 2, will also be included in the calculation of the future training units 2 by the computing device 10.
- the arithmetic unit 10 calculates differences between the state of regeneration of the trainee, which was determined with the first two calculations, and the state of regeneration subjectively determined by the trainee by input parameters 7.
- the endurance sports training program 9 can determine the current state of regeneration of the exerciser very accurately , Only then is it possible to plan the future training sessions in such a way that the exerciser is in the period of supercompensation during the training sessions.
- the endurance sports training program 9 is transmitted from the Internet portal 13 to the transmission unit 12 and from there to the input unit 11, from where it goes via the interface cable 22, or alternatively via a wireless connection, such as a bluetooth or infrared connection to the measuring device 20 of the trainee , This gives the trainee during the training session 2 insight into the endurance sports training program 9.
- the individual training units 2 can be optimally adapted to the goals of the exerciser. Should the trainee's time budget change due to illness or other incidents, endurance sports training program 9 will be recalculated at the touch of a button and training sessions 2 in the remaining time to the desired training goal will be co-ordinated. A dynamic adaptation is possible at any time.
- Another use of the dynamically adapted endurance sports training program 9 is the ever-increasing wellness area. Through targeted use of endurance sports training program 9 and appropriate choice of training goals 14, the overall well-being of the exerciser can be increased.
Abstract
Description
The present invention describes an analysis method for evaluating personal training data by recording measured values with a measuring device during the training unit, storing them and transmitting them to a computing device after completion of the training unit by a transmission unit.
Various methods are known for reading out, storing and using physiological training parameters of a subject during sports training, and for using them to set up a training program.
The development of portable measuring devices with microprocessors for determining stress levels in sports training, especially during endurance training, forms the basis for the inventive method.
The explained method is used to record, store and display measured values during a training session. By means of the disclosed method, neither extensive training programs can be programmed nor calculated by the measuring device, which includes further target values in addition to target pulse ranges of the trainee.
The conclusions of the performance of a trainee are thus related only to average values of a reference group, whereby no individually tailored to the trainee training planning takes place. In addition, the method does not consider training planning for a competition. Thus, no goal-oriented training planning is revealed, which optimizes training programs for the remaining time until the competition and dynamically varies. The results of the completed training session are only analyzed by comparing the values with a Reference database are compared. This process is sufficient for recreational athletes, who want to keep fit and want to practice their sport rather without a goal and will provide average performance due to the averaging process.
A purposeful procedure is in
In order to generate a training program for the cardiovascular system, only the maximum pulse of the exerciser is used and from this the training pulse to be achieved is calculated, depending on the previously determined fitness level of the exerciser. This fitness level must be redefined by the exerciser through a test, so that it can flow into the generation of the training program. To increase the performance of the training program should be dynamically adapted to the improved fitness of the exerciser. However, this is only possible with this method if the fitness test for determining the fitness level is carried out after each training session.
Since the trainer's fitness is only compared with a comparison database in this presented procedure, the resulting training program is tailored only to an average trainer and not personally to the trainee.

The present invention has for its object to provide a method for dynamically adapting an endurance sports training program, which is personalized to a trainee and is recalculated after each training session. This endurance sports training program is adjusted by the calculation to set training goals, such as a race or a targeted weight reduction, to a target weight at a future date.
The feedback of the services provided by the trainer has a direct influence on the calculation of the endurance sports training program. In addition to input parameters, measured values are recorded during the training unit by a measuring device and stored and sent to a computing unit together after the training session for calculating the future endurance sports training program. Such a personalized and dynamic endurance sports training program registers the changes in performance and weight reduction of the exerciser and can thus optimally align the training plan to the trainee.

The aim of endurance sports training is to increase the stamina, which means the ability to provide greater benefits over a longer period of time. Endurance sports training has a particularly positive effect on the cardiovascular system of a trainee. Other training effects include an improvement in metabolism, fat burning, which is important in weight problems and can lead to weight loss, as well as the strengthening of the immune system. For endurance sports training to be carried out effectively, each exerciser must train for an endurance sports training program that is optimized to achieve the above positive benefits.
While in competitive sports is mainly the increase in endurance performance to improve the training and thus the competition time is desired, the recreational athlete wants to improve his lipid metabolism and increase the anaerobic threshold, the highest possible stress intensity without increasing acidification. Exercisers who struggle with weight problems can use targeted weight management training.
As training science teaches, training planning for endurance sports training should be based on the principle of periodization, the controlled alternation of stress and relieving the organism of a trainee. The adaptation of the performance of a trainee takes place during the training
The endurance sports training program presented here uses, in addition to periodization, the principle of supercompensation known from sports medicine. The effect is exploited that the
The increased performance level is exploited for further performance enhancement by placing the
The method according to the invention is used to determine an endurance sports training program of input parameters 7 and measured values 8, which are recorded during each
In one embodiment, the exerciser can log in on a commercially operated

The transmission of the input data to the
A mandatory input parameter is the training goal of the exerciser. This training goal may be a competition on a date in the future, or a weight reduction up to a certain day. This training goal is important for the dynamic adaptation of the endurance sports training program, since the date of the training goal is compulsory for the calculation of the contents of the
Input parameters, which are also important for adjusting the endurance sports training program of each exerciser, are the number of training years of continuous training and the possible weekly training time, ie the time budget of the exerciser per week. While the number of training years is too Starting the creation of an endurance training program of interest and gives a first impression of the possible regeneration time of the exerciser, the frequently varying time budget for the adjustment of the endurance sports training program is used continuously.
The training-specific input parameters 7 include measurable quantities such as weight of the exerciser in the morning and sleep duration, as well as subjective values such as sleep quality, regenerative ability and stress factor of the exerciser. After these input parameters 7 have been input via the
Further training-specific input parameters 7, such as type of training, training content, stretching exercises, amount of training, intensity of training and training feeling are given by the exerciser after each completed
After the change of input parameters 7, an adaptation of the endurance sports training program 9 can take place. The endurance sports training program calculated for the
Each
To control the actual performance performed during each
After each
Another possibility is the transmission of the measured values 8 by the
The endurance sports training program 9 consists of a calendar listing of
The dynamic adaptation of the endurance sport training program 9 for a registered user is based on a
From the
The intensity and scope of the

The measurement of the power provided is easily possible with
If measured values 8 and input parameters 7 from performed
The subjectively selectable training-specific input parameters 7, such as training scope, training intensity and training feeling, which can be input after each
By calculating back the training period from the
Damit hat der Trainierende während der Trainingseinheit 2 Einblick in das Ausdauersporttrainingsprogramm 9.After the adaptation of the endurance training program 9 by the
By using measured values 8 and input parameters 7 for the dynamic adaptation of the endurance sports training program 8, the
Another use of the dynamically adapted endurance sports training program 9 is the ever-increasing wellness area.
