Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de transmission sans fil et un procédé associé. Le dispositif de transmission sans fil comprend: de multiples antennes, un module de traitement de signaux d'antennes multiples, un module de traitement de signaux RF et un module de traitement de bande de base. Le module de traitement de signaux d'antennes multiples est conçu pour combiner de multiples signaux RF provenant des multiples antennes de manière à former un signal RF unique. Le module de traitement de signaux RF est conçu pour convertir le signal RF unique combiné en un signal de bande de base unique. Le module de traitement de bande de base est conçu pour mettre en oeuvre un traitement de bande de base sur le signal de bande de base unique. Ce dispositif de transmission sans fil permet de former un système à antennes multiples, par la simple insertion d'un module de traitement de signaux d'antennes multiples dans un système caractéristique à antenne unique. Les modules de traitement de signaux RF et de traitement de bande de base d'un système existant à antenne unique restent inchangés, ce qui simplifie considérablement le processus de reformulation et permet de réduire les difficultés de conception ainsi que les coûts d'installation.
