Abstract

Loading container/mobile box, of the type whose corresponding vertices present certain corners for its handling, positioning and securing and said container/mobile box has its side faces and roof open, having solely the two front walls, in such a way that said two front walls (2) and (3) of the loading container/mobile box (1) are rotary with respect to their lower part and are actuated by at least one cylinder for each of them, said front walls (2) and (3) acting as support, fitting, fastening and tightening elements for a canvas (4) which covers the roof, between the two fronts, and which is likewise arranged with respect to both sides.

Description

    OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
  • As stated in the title of this specification, this invention consists of a loading container/mobile box, being of the type whose corresponding vertices present certain corners for its handling, positioning and securing and said container/mobile box has its side faces and roof open, having solely the two front walls, in such a way that said two front walls of the loading container/mobile box are rotary with respect to their lower part and are actuated by at least one cylinder for each of them, and whose said front walls act as support, assembly, fastening and tightening elements for a canvas which covers the roof, between the two fronts, and which is likewise arranged with respect to both sides.
  • Thus, the two front walls can be displaced from a horizontal position on the loading platform to a vertical position and vice versa, in such a way that the canvas secured to the upper side of the two front walls thereof is fitted and removed simultaneously with them.
  • Moreover, with the container empty and the two front walls backing on to their loading base, the canvas remains located in a central receptacle for the purpose and, when the front walls are rotated to their vertical work position, they drag the canvas along, thus carrying out its fitting and fastening with adequate tightening of that canvas.
  • In a practical embodiment of the invention, the canvas will be able to be fixed to the internal face of the two front walls below the level of the upper corners, permitting stacking of the container/mobile box.
  • Furthermore, on the internal face of its two front walls, close to its upper side and its two lateral sides, a cavity will be able to be defined for the positioning and securing of the closing canvas.
  • Likewise, the canvas positioned via the internal lateral sides of the two front walls remains secured via its internal part, furthermore permitting the said canvas to be perfectly protected in closing the side faces.
  • Moreover, the central receptacle of the base of the loading container/mobile box presents a trapezoid general section permitting the location preferably of coils in a transverse position.
  • FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The loading container/mobile box that is presented is of use for transporting goods by road, rail or sea, being of the type whose corresponding vertices present certain corners for its positioning and whose side faces and roof are open, able to be closed by a canvas or awning.
  • PRIOR ART OF THE INVENTION
  • There exist a large variety of loading containers and mobile boxes on the market for transporting goods by road, rail, sea and air, such that, in general, different types of container present the corresponding corner in their vertices for their handling and positioning, and those vertices can have different standardised measurements, while the mobile boxes are handled by conventional tunnels or clamps.
  • So, generically, we can consider closed containers (box type), side loading containers (open side), top loading containers (open top) and side and top loading containers.
  • In this way, closed containers preferably present a pair of doors in their rear wall, side loading containers present at least one open side wall, being able to be closed by means of some doors or by an awning, while top loading containers are normally closed by an awning which is secured by causing a tie-rope to pass through a series of lateral hooks, a fastening operation which requires a lot a time for being carried out.
  • As far as side and top loading containers are concerned, between the front structure or wall and the rear structure or wall, in relation to the top side, they present separate stiffening stringers, defined by a variable section profile piece, which likewise act as support for the closing awnings, fitted independently, both for the two side faces and for the roof.
  • In this way, the stiffening stringers, defined by a characteristic profile, are the supports with respect to which the different closing awnings are displaced and/or fixed.
  • So, the profiles making up the stiffening stringers define separate guides for the guided displacement of the corresponding side and awnings and the top awning.
  • This design presents the drawback that blows can occur to the stiffening stringers during loading and unloading operations, and these blows can reach the point of deforming the stringers, to the degree that the sliding awnings, guided by the profile piece defining that stiffening stringer, cannot be displaced properly, and the systems is rendered useless and has to be repaired, with the resulting economic cost, which can be increased as a consequence of the time during which the container is out of use while it is under repair.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • This specification describes a loading container/mobile box, being of the type of loading container/mobile box whose corresponding vertices present certain corners for its handling, positioning and securing and said container/mobile box has its side faces and roof open, having solely the two front walls, in such a way that the two front walls of the loading container/mobile box are rotary with respect to their lower part and are actuated by at least one cylinder for each of them, and said front walls act as support, assembly, fastening and tightening elements for a canvas or awning, properly tightened, which covers the roof, between the two fronts, and which is likewise arranged with respect to both sides, the loading base of the container/mobile box presenting a central longitudinal housing.
  • In this way, when positioning the front walls in a vertical position, from their horizontal position, the fitting and fastening of the canvas simultaneously takes place, and it becomes perfectly tightened with respect to the roof, permitting side loading and, once loaded, all that is necessary is to fasten the canvas in the conventional way via its sides.
  • So, the lower lateral part of the front walls present separate strips provided with a rotating axis via which their tilting takes place, on which strips acts the corresponding cylinder for performing the rotation of the two front walls, in such a way that these walls can remain in the vertical position with the canvas fitted and fixed between them for the transportation of goods, or they can remain in the horizontal position and empty with the canvas located and gathered into the central longitudinal housing.
  • Of course, the pair of actuation cylinders for the front walls will be able to be replaced by any other conventional means, such as for example a motor, springs, etc.
  • Moreover, in a preferred embodiment of the invention, the canvas is fixed to the internal face of the front walls below the level of the upper corners, permitting them to be stacked.
  • Likewise, in the internal face of the two front walls, close to its upper side and its two lateral sides, a cavity can be defined for the positioning and securing of the closing canvas, while the upper corners of the front walls of the container/mobile box are left free for being stacked, given that the closing canvas remains at a lower level via the internal face of the two front walls.
  • So, the cavity relative to the internal face of the upper side of the two front walls of the container/mobile box is defined by an orthogonal projection likewise ending in a small flange, also orthogonal in the upward direction.
  • Moreover, the orthogonal projection ending in a small flange, also orthogonal in the upward direction, corresponding to the internal face of the upper side of the two front walls from its central part, is extended towards both sides, with a slight inclination downwards, facilitating the exit of water in case of rain.
  • Furthermore, the cavity relative to the lateral sides of the internal face of the two front walls of the container/mobile box is created in the actual upper support post of the corresponding corner, these posts being produced on the basis of an H-shaped profile, with its core running in the longitudinal direction.
  • In this way, the core of the H-shaped profile relative to the support posts for the corners of the two front walls of the container/mobile box is fitted with a series of rings, orientated towards the external side of the container/mobile box for the lateral securing of the canvas, with the internal wing directed towards the outside of that H-shaped profile being of shorter length than the internal wing directed towards the inside.
  • In fact, the aim is to be able to stack the container/mobile box with the canvas fitted, given that the canvas remains positioned by the internal face of the two front walls at a level slightly below the corners.
  • The canvas could of course also be secured to the front walls via its upper part.
  • Likewise, when empty, the loading container/mobile box with the front walls in the horizontal position backed on to the loading base can be stacked with other similar containers or mobile boxes, permitting transportation of up to seven units of empty containers/mobile boxes.
  • In order to complement the description that is going to be made, and with the aim of aiding a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, this specification is accompanied by a set of plans whose figures, in a way that is illustrative and not limiting, represent the most characteristic details of the invention.

    DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Looking at the commented figures and in accordance with the adopted numbering, we can observe how the loading container/mobile box 1 has in its corresponding vertices the respective corner for its positioning with the respective securing elements, and whose side walls and roof remain open, in such a way that the two front walls 2 and 3 of the loading container/mobile box 1 that is presented rotate with respect to their lower part.
  • So, the said front walls 2 and 3 are actuated by at least one cylinder for each of them, and said front walls 2 and 3 act as elements for the support, fitting and fixing of a canvas 4 which covers the roof, between the two fronts, and which is likewise arranged with respect to both sides, the loading base 5 of the platform 10 of the loading container/mobile box 1 presenting a central longitudinal housing 6.
  • Once the front walls 2 and 3 have been rotated to their vertical work position and, consequently, the canvas 4 has been fitted and properly fixed and tightened, the sides of that canvas 4 will be able to be gathered via their upper part in order to permit loading to be carried out with respect to either of the two sides and afterwards said sides of the canvas 4 will be able to be fixed to the sides of the chassis of the container/mobile box 1 by conventional means.
  • Moreover, the lower side part of the front walls 2 and 3 present separate strips 7 provided with a rotating axis, via which their tilting takes place when the corresponding cylinder 8 acts on the said strips 7 with the aim of producing the rotation of the two front walls 2 and 3 from a horizontal position to a vertical position and vice versa.
  • In this way, with the loading container/mobile box 1 empty and with the front walls 2 and 3 in a horizontal position backed on to the loading base (figure 3), they can be stacked with other similar containers/mobile boxes via the positioning and securing corners.
  • When the loading container/mobile box 1 is empty, the front walls 2 and 3 will back on to the loading base 5 and the canvas will be perfectly gathered into the central longitudinal housing 6 thereof.
  • In fact, by means of the loading container/mobile box 1 that is presented, at the same time as the front walls are folded to their vertical position from their horizontal position, the fitting and fixing is successfully carried out with the proper tightening of the closing canvas.
  • In a practical embodiment of the invention we can observe how the container/mobile box 1 consists of a base platform 10 with a central receptacle 6 of trapezoid general section with respect to its internal base and some front walls 2 and 3, with the container/mobile box 1 being closed by means of a canvas 4 enclosing the roof and the sides.
  • So, the loading container/mobile box 1 that is presented has the aim that the front walls 2 and 3, which can be folded from a horizontal position on the base platform 10 to a vertical loading position, are in charge of fitting the canvas and, moreover, that the container/mobile box 1 can be stacked when it is loaded and with the canvas 4 enclosing the roof and the side walls.
  • In this way, the front walls 2 and 3 are actuated by at least one cylinder 9 which is displaced from its horizontal position to its vertical position and vice versa. The walls will, of course, be able to be folded by any other conventional means.
  • In the preferred embodiment that is presented, the front wall 2 will be actuated by a first pair of cylinders 9, one on each lower side, the piston of which is attached to a strip 7 rotating the wall with respect to the axis 8 while the front wall 3 will be actuated by a second pair of cylinders 9, one on each lower side, the piston of which is attached to a strip 7 rotating the wall with respect to the axis 8.
  • So, with the front walls 2 and 3 in their horizontal position, the canvas 4 is housed in the central receptacle 6 of the base platform 10 and when the front walls 2 and 3 swing to their vertical position the canvas 4 is simultaneously fitted.
  • Likewise, in figure 5 of the design it can be seen how in the displacement of the front walls 2 and 3 from their horizontal position to their vertical position they fit the canvas 4 since the latter is attached to them, along with the means 12 for actuation of the pairs of cylinders 9.
  • Equally, it can be observed how the container/mobile box 1 presents in its lower vertices the corresponding corner 13 with its positioning and securing.
  • Furthermore, so that the loading container/mobile box 1 can be stacked in the internal face of its two front walls 2 and 3, defined close to its upper side and its two lateral sides is a cavity for the positioning and securing of the closing canvas 4, with the upper part of the canvas 4 remaining below the level of the upper corners 14, permitting their stacking.
  • So, the cavity 15 relative to the internal face of the upper side of the two front walls 2 and 3 of the container/mobile box 1 is defined by an orthogonal projection 16 likewise ending in a small flange 17, also orthogonal in the upward direction, said cavity 15 being slightly below the level of the upper corners 14 of the two front walls 2 and 3 for handling and securing, permitting their stacking.
  • Moreover, the orthogonal projection 16 ending in a small flange 17, also orthogonal in the upward direction, corresponding to the internal face of the upper side of the two front walls 2 and 3 from its central part, is extended towards both sides, with a slight inclination downwards, so that in case of rain the water can exit towards the sides without penetrating inside.
  • Furthermore, the cavity 18 relative to the lateral sides of the internal face of the two front walls 2 and 3 of the container/mobile box 1 is created in the actual upper support post of the corresponding corner 14, on the basis of an H-shaped profile 19 shaping the same.
  • In this way, the core of the H-shaped profile 19 relative to the support posts for the upper corners 14 of the two front walls 2 and 3 of the container/mobile box 1 is fitted with a series of rings 20 towards the external side of the container/mobile box 1 for the lateral securing of the canvas 4, the internal wing 21 directed towards the outside of that H-shaped profile 19 being of shorter length than the internal wing 22 directed towards the inside of the container/mobile box, with sufficient space remaining for facilitating the lateral fitting of the canvas.
  • In this way, the cavity 18 created in the actual post of the front walls 2 and 3 will be able to be defined on the basis of the actual H-shaped profile 19 by cutting the internal wing 21 directed towards the outside and leaving sufficient space for being able to secure the canvas 4 to the rings 20, for which the said rings 20 will remain in relation to corresponding eyelets or openings in the canvas, finally being secured by means of a rope passing through the rings 20.
  • The container/mobile box 1 that is presented is of special application for the transportation of coils 23, which are housed in a position transverse to the receptacle 6 and fixed by respective straps secured to some lateral means 24 of the base platform 10.
  • Likewise, the side of the base platform 10 also has conventional means 25 incorporated for fixing of the canvas 4.
  • Moreover, the central receptacle 6 of the base platform 10 can be enclosed by a series of covers 26 with its bottom flat for the transportation of other products.
  • At the moment the front walls 2 and 3 of the container/mobile box 1 remain in the vertical position, they will be stabilised by means of the corresponding fastening and security lock 27 passing through the hole 11 in the actual chassis of the base platform 10.
  • In fact, the aim is for the canvas 4 to remain fixed to the upper part of the internal face of the front walls 2 and 3 of the container/mobile box 1 below the level of the upper corners 14, in such a way that when the front walls 2 and 3 swing from their horizontal position on the base platform 2 to the vertical loading position the closing canvas is fitted and such that the container/mobile box 1 can be stacked due to the corners 14 being free.
  • The canvas will of course be able to be secured to the front walls in relation to the upper side thereof or via their external face by any conventional means, when the containers/mobile boxes do not need to be stacked.

Claims (9)

  1. LOADING CONTAINER/MOBILE BOX, being of the type whose corresponding vertices present certain corners for its handling, positioning and securing and said container/mobile box has its side faces and roof open, having solely the two front walls, characterised in that said two front walls (2) and (3) of the loading container/mobile box (1) are rotary with respect to their lower part and are actuated by at least one cylinder for each of them, and that said front walls (2) and (3) act as support, fitting, fastening and tightening elements for a canvas (4) which covers the roof, between the two fronts, and which is likewise arranged with respect to both sides.
  2. LOADING CONTAINER/MOBILE BOX, according to claim 1, characterised in that a canvas (4) is fixed to the upper part of the two front walls (2) and (3) of the container/mobile box (1), hinged with respect to their lower side.
  3. LOADING CONTAINER/MOBILE BOX, according to claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the canvas (4) is fixed to the internal face of the front walls (2) and (3) below the level of the upper corners (14).
  4. LOADING CONTAINER/MOBILE BOX, according to claim 1, characterised in that with the front walls (2) and (3) in the horizontal position on the loading platform (10) the canvas (4) remains housed in a central longitudinal receptacle (6) of its base (5).
  5. LOADING CONTAINER/MOBILE BOX, according to the preceding claims, characterised in that in the internal face of the two front walls (2) and (3), close to its upper side and its two lateral sides, a cavity (15)-(18) is respectively defined for the positioning and securing of a closing canvas (4), while the upper corners (14) of the front walls (2) and (3) of the container/mobile box (1) are free for its stacking.
  6. LOADING CONTAINER/MOBILE BOX, according to claims 1 and 5, characterised in that the cavity (15) relative to the internal face of the upper side of the two front walls (2) and (3) of the container/mobile box (1) is defined by an orthogonal projection (16) ending in a flange (17), likewise orthogonal in the upward direction.
  7. LOADING CONTAINER/MOBILE BOX, according to claims 1 and 6, characterised in that the projection (16) ending in a flange (17) orthogonal in the upward direction corresponding to the internal face of the upper side of the two front walls (2) and (3) is extended from its central part towards both sides, with a slight downward inclination.
  8. LOADING CONTAINER/MOBILE BOX, according to claims 1 and 5, characterised in that the cavity (18) relative to the lateral sides of the internal face of the two front walls (2) and (3) of the container/mobile box (1) is created in the actual upper support post of the corresponding corner (14), on the basis of an H-shaped profile (19) shaping the same.
  9. LOADING CONTAINER/MOBILE BOX, according to claims 1 and 8, characterised in that the core of the H-shaped profile (19) relative to the support posts for the upper corners (14) of the two front walls (2) and (3) of the container/mobile box (1) is fitted with a series of rings (20) towards the external side of the container/mobile box for the lateral securing of the canvas (4), the internal wing (21) directed towards the outside of that H-shaped profile (19) being of shorter length than the internal wing (22) directed towards the inside.
