Die Aufgabe wird neuerungsgemäss gelöst durch die kennzeichnenden Merkmale des Anspruches 1. Dadurch, dass zwischen dem Dispenser und der Faltstation eine erste Fördervorrichtung und nach der Fixierstation eine zweite Fördervorrichtung vorgesehen sind, die mittels der Steuereinheit intermittierend betreibbar sind, ergeben sich wesentliche Vorteile. Durch die intermittierende Bewegung ist es möglich, das gefaltete Etikettenband in der Fixierstation still zu setzen, wodurch die Fixierstation mit einem heb- und senkbaren Presstempel ausgestattet werden kann, der bei stillstehendem Etikettenband einen beliebig grossen Druck auf das gefaltete Etikettenband ausüben kann. Damit ist eine optimale Fixierung des gefalteten Etikettenbandes selbst bei einem Etikettenband mit wechselnden Dicken gewährleistet. Die zwei Fördervorrichtungen ermöglichen es auch, dass die Fördergeschwindigkeiten der Fördervorrichtungen optimal aufeinander eingestellt werden können, sodass sie auf Längenänderungen während des Fixiervorganges durch eine entsprechende Anpassung der Fördergeschwindigkeit, insbesondere der zweiten Fördervorrichtung, ausgeglichen werden können. Das Etikettenband durchläuft somit die Falt- und Fixierstation stets in optimaler Spannung, wodurch der Fixiervorgang und damit die Qualität der gefalteten Etikettenbänder wesentlich verbessert werden können.The object is achieved according to the innovation by the characterizing features of claim 1. Das Etikettenband 6 wird mittels einer ersten Fördervorrichtung 8 aus einem Rollenpaar 10a, 10b, von denen eine Rolle antreibbar ist, von der Vorratsrolle abgezogen. Eine zweite Fördervorrichtung 12, die ebenfalls aus einem Rollenpaar 10a, 10b gebildet ist, zieht das Etikettenband 6 zunächst durch eine Faltstation 14, in der das Etikettenband 6 mindestens einer Faltung unterworfen wird. An die zweite Fördervorrichtung 12 schliesst sich eine Pufferstation 28 an, die einen Bandvorrat 30 bildet, um in der nachfolgenden Schneidstation 32, die ebenfalls intermittierend arbeitet, einen genügenden Bandvorrat zur Verfügung zu stellen. Die Schneidstation enthält eine dritte Fördervorrichtung 33 aus einem Rollenpaar 10a, 10b, welche das Etikettenband zu einer Schneidvorrichtung 34 fördert, die beispielsweise nach dem ultrasonischen Prinzip arbeitet. Die Schneidvorrichtung 34 trennt dann einzelne Etiketten 2 vom Etikettenband 6 ab, die beispielsweise in einer Stapelvorrichtung 36 aufgefangen werden. Die Anlage enthält eine Steuereinheit 40, die die einzelnen Komponenten der Anlage steuert. So ist die Steuereinheit 40 beispielsweise über die Steuerleitung 42 mit der ersten Fördervorrichtung 8 verbunden. Eine Steuerleitung 44 dient zur Steuerung der Vorheizung 18. Analog dient eine Steuerleitung 46 zur Steuerung der Heizung der Thermofixiervorrichtung 20. Eine Steuerleitung 48 verbindet die Steuereinheit 40 mit der Hubvorrichtung 26, um den Presstempel 24 im richtigen Takt und mit der gewünschten Presskraft am gefalteten Etikettenband 6 zur Anlage zu bringen. Eine weitere Steuerleitung 50 verbindet die Steuereinheit 40 mit der zweiten Fördervorrichtung 12, um diese nicht nur im gleichen Takt wie die erste Fördervorrichtung 8 anzutreiben, sondern allenfalls eine Überförderung auszulösen, um Spannungsänderungen des Etikettenbandes 6 während der Behandlung auszugleichen. Die dritte Fördervorrichtung 33 ist über die Steuerleitung 52 mit der Steuereinheit 40 verbunden und enthält ihre Antriebsimpulse über den Sensor 38, der über die Steuerleitung 54 mit der Steuereinheit 40 gekoppelt ist. Claims (4)
- An installation for producing folded labels, having a dispenser (4) for a strip (6) of labels (2), having a folding station (14) for forming at least one fold in the label strip (6), also having a fixing station (16) for fixing the fold, further having a buffer station (28) for the folded label strip and having a cutting station (32) for cutting off individual folded labels (2) from the label strip (6), as well as having conveying means (8, 12, 33) for conveying the label strip (6) along the stations (14, 16, 28, 32) and having a control unit (40) for controlling the installation, characterized in that it has a first conveying arrangement (8) between the dispenser (4) and the folding station (14) and a second conveying arrangement (12) downstream of the fixing station (16), and these conveying arrangements can be operated intermittently by means of the control unit (40).
