Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a package for containing electronic components or carriers of electronic components and in particular of tape-N-reel coils.
Among other things, packaging of electronic components has the essential task of protecting them as much as possible from shocks and vibrations in order to prevent damage to the electronic components. Previously known packages of electronic components consist, for example, of styrofoam, which surrounds the electronic component in the form of shells or in the form of random packings. Furthermore, packaging made of cardboard or plastic are known, which completely or at least partially surround the electronic component.
The present invention has the object of developing a package for receiving electronic components in such a way that it protects the electronic component accommodated therein in a particularly effective manner against damage.
This object is achieved by a package having the features of claim 1. Thereafter, it is provided that the packaging has a recess bounded by a wall for receiving the component and with respect to the wall to the recess projecting and circumferentially spaced brackets, by means of which a component received in the recess can be fixed. The portion of the wall between the brackets has one or more protrusions. The package has a bottom and the protrusions have a foot region directed toward the bottom and an upper surface spaced from the bottom, and are inclined such that the foot region projects further into the recess than the upper side. The projections are thus not perpendicular to the bottom of the package, but are slightly inclined to the outside. The brackets have a foot region directed towards the bottom of the package and an upper side spaced from the bottom, and are inclined such that their foot region protrudes less far into the recess than the upper side thereof. This means that the brackets are inclined starting from their foot to the recess.
The brackets take the electronic component, which may possibly also have its own packaging, between them and are preferably designed such that the component rests without play between the brackets. Due to the fact that the brackets protrude inward, the component received between the brackets is not located in the outer edge region of the package, but set back inwards, resulting in Combined with the buffering property of the bracket provides effective protection of the recorded component from damage.
Preferably, the brackets are evenly distributed in the circumferential direction on the wall of the recess. For example, four or even fewer or more than four holders can be arranged.
In a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the projections have an initial and an end region spaced from the latter in the circumferential direction of the wall, wherein the end region of the projections projects further into the recess than the initial region thereof. This results in the plan view of the packaging a substantially sawtooth profile that is formed by the projections located between the holders. One, two or even more than two projections can be arranged between the holders. The projections can protrude into the recess exactly as far as the holders in their end region. Preferably, however, they are set back in their end region relative to the holders. The wall section, which is located between the holders, preferably serves for receiving packaging material, which is accommodated together with the electronic component in the packaging according to the invention.
The region of the projections situated between the initial and the end region can be flat or curved, that is to say the projections can have flat or curved flanks.
Furthermore, it can be provided that the packaging has a base part and a cover part, one or both of the parts having one or more projections and the other or both of the parts having one or more recesses for receiving the projections. The bottom part and the cover part can thus be connected to one another via a plug connection.
It is particularly preferred if the lugs and the recesses are in the region of the bottom part or of the lid part in which the holders are located.
In a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the lugs and the recesses are arranged on the top of the brackets. If the lugs and the recesses are provided alternately and the bottom and cover parts are identical, the cover part is only to be turned by 90 ° so that the corresponding lugs and recesses can be inserted into one another.
The brackets and / or the projections may extend over the entire height or part of the height of the wall of the recess. It is thus not necessary that the brackets and projections over the entire height of the Wall extend, although this represents a preferred embodiment of the invention.
In a further embodiment of the invention, it is provided that one or more projections projecting towards the recess are arranged in the bottom. These form the support for the component to be accommodated in the packaging in the floor area. This means that the component is fixed on the one hand by the knobs and on the other hand by the brackets. The knobs also form a shock absorbing and shock absorbing buffer. In addition, they allow that located between the nubs area for receiving a packaging material or z. As used by desiccant, which is to be taken together with the electronic component in the package according to the invention.
The nubs can be arranged differently. It is conceivable, for example, that the nubs are arranged in the form of a circle or in the form of two or more than two, preferably concentric circles.
As already stated above, a preferred embodiment of the invention is that the bottom part and the lid part are made identical. The result of this is that the production of the packaging is comparatively simple and that both the bottom and the lid provide equally good protection for the component accommodated in the packaging.
It is conceivable that the packaging not only has a bottom part and a cover part, but that, moreover, an intermediate layer arranged between them is provided. The intermediate layer is preferably executed essentially flat. The intermediate layer may have a main body and projections extending therefrom and spaced in the circumferential direction of the main body. These projections can serve on the one hand to fix the intermediate layer relative to the bottom part and the lid part and on the other hand to another fixation and to provide protection of the electronic component housed in the package. When the intermediate layer is inserted, the projections of the intermediate layer can abut against the projections which are located between the holders on the wall of the recess.
The projections may extend alternately from the top and bottom of the body.
In order to prevent inadvertent release of the bottom part of the cover part, it can be provided that the packaging further comprises a lock, by means of which both parts are fixable to each other.
The lock can be embodied such that the bottom part and / or the cover part has a movable tab which can be received in a recess in the other of the parts, wherein the tab has a web and an adjoining mount area which has a larger diameter or larger diameter has larger dimensions than the web, wherein the recess has a diameter or a dimension which is lower than that of the mounting area. The slot is preferably followed by a slot through which the web can be guided for unlocking or locking until the mounting area is received in the recess or removed therefrom.
The lock is preferably in the region of the brackets.
In a further embodiment of the invention can be provided that adjoins the wall surrounding the recess, a collar which extends perpendicularly or substantially perpendicularly from the wall to the outside. The collar can form in plan view, the outer contour of the package, that is, in the circumferential direction form the furthest projecting part of the package, whereby a further impact protection is achieved.
The packaging is preferably made of a plastically deformable material, preferably of polypropylene. In principle, other materials can be used.
Finally, the invention relates to the use of a packaging according to one of claims 1 to 9 for receiving electronic components or carriers of electronic components and in particular of tape-N-reel coils.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the bottom part and the lid part is empty stackable.

The
Of course, fewer or more than four brackets can be provided instead of the four
The extending between the starting
The section between in each case two

In the area of the top 34 of the
At the same time, the

The internal projections 107 'form like the
Substantially perpendicular to the
The packaging according to the present invention preferably consists of a plastically deformable material which absorbs the impact energy in the event of an impact by plastic deformation and if possible not by elastic deformation. For example, polypropylene or impact-modified polypropylene is used.
The packaging according to the invention can in plan view circular or polygonal, z. b. be executed hexagonal. It is made by deep drawing.
