Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method and a device for configuring a fire protection system consisting of at least one element to be configured.
Danger detection systems, such as fire, gas, temperature, etc., usually consist of detectors connected to a control center. Such alarm systems are used in public buildings, office buildings, hotels, industrial buildings, airports, railway stations, workshops, schools, etc. If an alarm is triggered on one of the detectors, the control panel will be notified. The functions of the control panel are freely parameterizable and support an alarm organization adapted to the object to be monitored. Such control panels usually have an integrated control panel with a graphical display and interfaces to communication networks. Such a control center must be set up or configured before commissioning. Here, the language to be used, the country standards and regulations, the detectors used, the number and parameterization of the detectors, the features and hardware of the hazard control panel are configured or adjusted.
The object of the invention is to provide a possible simple and cost-effective way to configure the hazard detection systems.
The object is achieved in each case by the subject matters of the independent claims. Further developments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.
A core of the invention is to be seen in the fact that for a to be configured element of the danger detection system, a configuration process is created and that when entering at least one information in a configuration step of the configuration process, the validity of the input is checked. An information can represent a parameter, an address, a number, an alphanumeric character, etc. According to the invention, an input of at least one piece of information can only take place in a next configuration step of the configuration process if the check of the validity of the input of the at least one information in a previous configuration step is positive. That is, only if the input is valid or plausible, at least one piece of information can be entered in the next configuration step. The next configuration step is a configuration step of the element to be configured. The next configuration step does not have to be configured next. This can be interesting if only a basic configuration, which is needed for a first commissioning of the danger detection system, for example, should be configured. It is conceivable according to the invention that the inputs in the individual configuration steps of the configuration process are independent of each other. This means that an input can be made at a next configuration step, even if the validity check is negative. As to be configured elements of the hazard detection system, the hardware, detection, monitoring, the properties of the hazard detection system, etc. are considered. A configuration process can be represented as a directory tree, table, detail editor, etc.
An advantage of the method according to the invention is that a danger detection system can be configured quickly, easily and cost-effectively.
- FIG. 1
- an example of creating a configuration process,
- FIG. 2
- an inventive device.
Figure 1 shows an example of creating a configuration process KA GMS for a hazard detection system GMS. The example shows a directory tree, but a table, a detail editor, etc. could also be used for illustration. For the hardware HW, Detection D, Monitoring C and PMI properties of the hazard detection system to be configured, configuration steps KS are defined to configure these elements. In this example, only four configuration steps KS are displayed for a better overview. According to the invention, however, the number of configuration steps is not limited. Of course, according to the invention also sub-configuration steps UKS, as under the configuration
Figure 2 shows an inventive device VR with a receiving unit E, a processing unit V and a transmitting unit S. This device VR can be connected via an interface IP with the danger detection system GMS. Of course, according to the invention, it is equally possible for the device to be integrated into the danger detection system. Such a device may consist of an input device for inputting alphanumeric characters, a screen for displaying the configuration process, the already mentioned processing unit V, the receiving unit for receiving information from the hazard detection system GMS or from a unit of a communication network and a transmitting unit for sending information. In general, a computer, a mobile computer, a handheld, a mobile terminal, etc., could be used as the device VR and integrated in the hazard detection system GMS.
