- la surface de freinage est adaptée pour ralentir le vantail de porte par frottement du chariot sur cette surface de freinage ;
- le dispositif de freinage comporte un élément de contre-appui disposé en face de la surface de freinage et adapté pour maintenir le contact entre le chariot et le rail de guidage ; et
- le dispositif de freinage est sensiblement en forme de C, l'élément de contre-appui et la surface de freinage étant chacun disposés sur l'une des deux branches du C.
