Claims (8)

  1. A manifold for a multicylinder internal combustion engine which includes a plurality of outlets (1), comprising
    a plurality of shells (5, 15, 51) connected with one another on the edges to provide inlet channels (25, 27, 57, 59) and at least one outlet space (63, 65) into which the inlet channels (25, 27, 57, 59) open, and
    a baffle plate (35) that is provided for the exhaust gas flowing in via at least one inlet channel (57, 59) and is associated with an outlet space (65), the baffle plate (35) being firmly connected on the edge at one end (37) with one of the shells (5, 15, 51), characterized in that the baffle plate (35) is displaceably connected with another one of the shells (5, 15, 51) at an end (41) remote therefrom.
  2. The manifold according to claim 1, characterized by
    lower and upper shells (5, 15) connected with one another on the edges to provide outer inlet channels (25, 27) and a first outlet space (63) into which the outer inlet channels (25, 27) open, and
    a central shell (51) connected on the edge with at least one of the lower and upper shells (5, 15) to provide at least one middle inlet channel (57, 59) located between the outer inlet channels (25, 27) and a second outlet space (65) into which the middle inlet channel (57, 59) opens,
    the baffle plate (35) being provided for the exhaust gas flowing in via the middle inlet channel (57, 59) and being associated with the second outlet space (65).
  3. The manifold according to claim 2, characterized in that the baffle plate (35) is attached to the lower shell (5).
  4. The manifold according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the upper shell (15) has a cut-out (33) in the region of the baffle plate (35) and is thus formed in the shape of a U.
  5. The manifold according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the displaceably connected end (41) of the baffle plate (35) is located opposite to the firmly connected end (37).
  6. The manifold according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that one end (37) of the baffle plate (35) is welded to a shell (5).
  7. The manifold according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the displaceable end (41) is a U-shaped open end into which an edge (45) projects and is guided therein.
  8. The manifold according to claim 7, characterized in that the baffle plate (35) has the U-shaped end (41).
