Claims (5)
- Verfahren zum Frankieren von Poststücken in einem Postsendungsfrankiersystem, das eine zentrale Sicherheitsabrechnungseinrichtung (PSD 20) umfaßt, die mit einem Fernserver zum Guthabenaufladen (26) und einer Vielzahl von lokalen Frankierverwaltungsmodulen (22-1 bis 22-N) verbunden ist, die jeweils eine lokale Sicherheitsabrechnungseinrichtung (28-1 bis 28-N) umfassen und durch ein lokales Netzwerk eines Nutzers (LAN) mit der zentralen Sicherheitsabrechnungseinrichtung verbunden sind, umfassend die folgenden Schritte: Eröffnen einer Frankiersitzung; Anfrage durch jedes der lokalen Frankierverwaltungsmodule zur Buchung eines vorbestimmten Portobetrages bei der zentralen Sicherheitsabrechnungseinrichtung; als Reaktion auf diese Anfragen, Senden eines temporären Sitzungsschlüssels für das Generieren der gesicherten Poststempel, durch die zentrale Sicherheitsabrechnungseinrichtung, an jedes der lokalen Frankierverwaltungsmodule; gesichertes Frankieren der Poststücke durch jedes der lokalen Frankierverwaltungsmodule bis zur Höhe dieses zuvor gebuchten vorbestimmten Portobetrages; am Ende der Sitzung, Senden - durch jedes der lokalen Frankierverwaltungsmodule - des während der Sitzung verbrauchten Portobetrages und von Aufstellungen bezüglich der entsprechenden Frankierungen an die zentrale Sicherheitsabrechnungseinrichtung; Vernichten des temporären Sitzungsschlüssels, der das Generieren der gesicherten Poststempel ermöglichte; und Belasten eines Gesamtportobetrages, der gleich der Summe der durch ein jedes der lokalen Frankierverwaltungsmodule verbrauchten Portobeträge ist, in der zentralen Sicherheitsabrechnungseinrichtung.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß wenn der am Ende der Sitzung verbrauchte Portobetrag niedriger als der gebuchte Betrag ist, der Differenzbetrag freigegeben wird, um einer anderen lokalen Sicherheitsabrechnungseinrichtung weiter vergütet zu werden.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es einen Schritt zur Buchung eines neuen Portobetrages bei der zentralen Sicherheitsabrechnungseinrichtung, wenn der zuvor gebuchte vorbestimmte Portobetrag vor Sitzungsende nahezu ausgeschöpft ist, umfaßt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Schritt zur Buchung eines neuen Portobetrages eingeleitet wird, wenn der verbleibende Portobetrag geringer als eine vorbestimmte, höchstens einigen zusätzlichen Aufdrucken entsprechende Summe ist.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß dem Schritt zur Buchung eines neuen Portobetrages ein Schritt zum Senden von Aufstellungen bezüglich der getätigten Frankierungen vorausgeht.
