- This invention relates to radio frequency wall outlets and to filter and/or splitter modules which can be detachably plugged onto such outlets. These outlets are used to terminate coaxial cables carrying RF signals (e.g. television data or radio) and to provide protection or isolation against dangerous electrical currents and voltages.

- the diameter of the release region 6 must be larger than the diameter (A, Figure 5 ) of the head 13. Also, the width of the channel forming the locking region 7 must be greater than the diameter B of the shank 12 but less than the diameter of the head 13.

Claims (6)
- Filter- und/oder Splitter-Modul für die Befestigung an einem Wandauslass, das ein Koaxialkabel abschließt, wobei das Modul einen aufschiebbaren elektrischen Anschluss (9) für die elektrische Verbindung mit einem Anschluss (3) an dem Wandauslass aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Modulanschluss (9) auf einer Seite des Moduls positioniert ist, während auf der anderen Seite ein Vorsprung (10) vorhanden ist, der einen unterschnittenen Bereich besitzt, der einen Kopf (13) für den Eingriff in einem Schlitz (5) im Auslass definiert, so dass dann, wenn der Anschluss (9) an dem Modul anfänglich mit dem Auslassanschluss (3) in Eingriff gelangt, der Vorsprung (10) in einen Freigabebereich (6) des Schlitzes (5) eintritt, woraufhin eine Drehung des Moduls um den Auslassanschluss (3) als Zentrum den Vorsprung (10) dazu veranlasst, sich in einen Verriegelungsbereich (7) des Schlitzes (5) zu bewegen, wo der Eingriff des Vorsprungs (10) mit dem Auslass verhindert, dass das Modul aus dem Auslass gezogen wird.
- Modul nach Anspruch 1, wobei der Vorsprung (10) ein Bolzen mit einem Schaft (12), der in einem vergrößerten Kopf (13) endet, ist, wobei der Schaft (12) den unterschnittenen Bereich definiert.
- Wandauslass mit einem elektrischen Anschluss (3) für die elektrische Verbindung eines Endes eines Koaxialkabels, wobei der Anschluss (3) von einer Vorderseite des Auslasses zugänglich ist, um zu ermöglichen, einen aufschiebbaren Anschluss (9) eines Aufsteck-Filter- und/oder Splittermoduls darauf zu stecken und dadurch mit dem Auslass elektrisch zu verbinden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Anschluss (3) durch ein exzentrisches Loch zu einer Seite der vorderen Fläche des Auslasses vorsteht, wobei auf der anderen Seite der vorderen Fläche des Auslasses ein exzentrischer Schlitz (5) vorhanden ist, wobei der Schlitz (5) geformt ist, um einen Vorsprung (10) an dem Modul aufzunehmen, so dass dann, wenn der Anschluss (9) an dem Modul anfänglich mit dem Auslassanschluss in Eingriff gelangt, der Vorsprung (10) in einen Freigabebereich (6) des Schlitzes (5) eintritt, woraufhin eine Drehung des Moduls um den Auslassanschluss (3) als Zentrum den Vorsprung (10) dazu veranlasst, sich in einen Verriegelungsbereich (7) des Schlitzes (5) zu bewegen, wo der Eingriff des Vorsprungs (10) mit dem Auslass verhindert, dass das Modul aus dem Auslass gezogen wird, wobei die Freigabe des Moduls von dem Auslass eine Gegendrehung des Moduls in Bezug auf den Auslass erfordert.
- Wandauslass nach Anspruch 3, wobei der Schlitz (5) schlüssellochförmig ist, wobei der kreisförmige Teil des Schlitzes (5) den Freigabebereich (6) bildet und der lang gestreckte Kanalabschnitt des Schlitzes (5) den Verriegelungsbereich (7) bildet.
- Kombination aus einem Wandauslass und einem Filter- und/oder Splittermodul zum Aufstecken auf den Auslass, wobei der Auslass einen elektrischen Anschluss (3) zum Verbinden eines Endes des Koaxialkabels besitzt und das Modul einen elektrischen aufschiebbaren Anschluss (9) besitzt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Anschlüsse (3, 9) auf einer Seite des Auslasses bzw. des Moduls positioniert sind, während auf der anderen Seite des Auslasses bzw. des Moduls entweder der Auslass oder das Modul einen Schlitz (5) mit einem Freigabebereich (6) und einem Verriegelungsbereich (7) besitzt, während der bzw. das jeweils andere des Auslasses und des Moduls einen Vorsprung (10) besitzt, der geformt ist, um mit dem Schlitz zusammenzuwirken, so dass dann, wenn das Modul auf den Auslass aufgesteckt wird, der Anschluss (9) am Modul einen anfänglichen Eingriff mit dem Anschluss (3) am Auslass herstellt und der Vorsprung (10) in den Freigabebereich (6) des Schlitzes (5) eintritt, woraufhin das Modul in Bezug auf den Auslass um den Auslassanschluss (3) als Zentrum gedreht wird, um den Vorsprung (10) dazu zu veranlassen, in den Verriegelungsbereich (7) des Schlitzes (5) einzutreten, wo der Eingriff des Vorsprungs (10) mit dem Schlitz (5) verhindert, dass das Modul von dem Auslass abgezogen wird, wobei eine Freigabe des Moduls von dem Auslass eine Gegendrehung des Moduls in Bezug auf den Auslass erfordert.
- Kombination eines Wandauslasses und eines Filter- und/oder Splittermoduls nach Anspruch 5, wobei der Auslass den Schlitz (5) besitzt und das Modul den Vorsprung (10) besitzt.
